Reading -- Amaranth has always loved to read. Her genre of choice tends to be adventure-fantasy. As a child, she used reading as a means to escape her childhood where she was often bullied, or just plain ignored by her parents who struggled with maintaining their stoner-hippie lifestyle while having a kid, bills, and other *gasp* responsibilities. She grew up with her nose stuck in a book. She even has a Youtube channel where she will introduce books to her subscribers and read the first chapter to get them interested. She often volunteers at the local library during summer, and is part of a school-work program where she assists in the college library in exchange for financial aid.
Botany -- Amaranth's name itself is a flower, so it comes as little surprise that she was born with a green-thumb. She takes a particular interest in climbing, vine-like, plants such as Clematis, Morning Glory, Wysteria, Lilac Solanum, and of course, Amaranth. She enjoys growing these in her greenhouse because it makes her feel like she is in a fantasy-realm - all she needs is a white unicorn. Her plants, like books, are a form of escapism. She also plants fresh mint and other plants that make a good tea! Chances are if you are at her place and having tea, it came from her garden!
Youtuber -- As previously mentioned, Amaranth has a youtube channel that she is very active with. More than just her book reading, she does make-up and gardening tutorials as well. She is very happy with her small following, but is working on growing it - maybe then she can get some sweet kickbacks from Youtube!
Virtues:
Heard about you and your Honey-d words! -- Amaranth has a very quiet and gentle honey-like voice that is very comforting and alluring, as well as an air about her that makes her come off as very level-headed and calm. Like a boarding school head-mistress or queen. Because of this, she often finds herself taking a very maternal role, if not a distant one. She is almost always the one picked to present a group project, and is an ace at Speech class, even if she'd rather be reading poetry and short stories on her youtube channel. Someone can say one thing, and people jump on them for it, but is she were to say it, then suddenly it becomes not so bad. Usually. Simply, when she speaks, people usually listen.
Imaginative -- Amaranth is very day-dreamy. Her mind is open to so many ideas and possibilities that she can think up a solution to just about any problem! That isn't to say that they are always good or even plausible solutions, and maybe she has read a bit too much fantasy... But hey, in a world where there a 'mysterious terrorists from outer space,' ...it throws open the doors to sooooo many things! Amaranth is always ready to deliver a plan B...or Y.......or Z. Also, yeah, she has probably already thought up and mentally rehearsed how Situation-X is gonna go down, and is totally prepared! She also has some sweet comebacks she thought up in the shower after her last encounter with haters. She might not have been able to use them then, but she has them on mental-file and ready to deliver! ...if only she weren't so closed off and guarded....
Mother Hen -- She is 'the hostess with the mostest,' some would say! Amaranth tends to become the 'mother' to any group she is with - always making sure everyone is alright, fed, and happy, and she does it with a relish and tireless true spirit of altruism, even if she isn't that personable. She cares deeply and shows her care by ensuring that everyone is taken care of. She is always the one bringing snacks and drinks, has some first aid on hand, and willing to lend a hand. And like a mother, she is also there to make sure everyone gets along, and is anyone gets out of line, she is there to get them back in line as well, with a firm word and demeanor that would make any old-school mom proud.
Flaws:
Guarded -- She doesn't like people getting too close to her emotionally. She isn't adverse to getting close to someone, but she doesn't like them getting to know her because she is afraid of being manipulated. She has a lot of secrets that she intends to keep. So though she is a caring person, whenever the tables are turned and the conversation about herself, she is quick to deflect it. Or just completely shut it down. Why is she afraid of being manipulated or tricked? Well, she harbors a lot of pride. She has a high opinion of herself, and being toyed with would, in her eyes, make her seem weak. In fact, any show of being bothered or upset is out the window, so she bottles it up and keeps to herself, even if she'd really love to tell that creep in Chimestry off. ((Going to be a large plot-development spot for her!))
Escapist -- Amaranth longs to be....anywhere but here. Her whole life she has wanted to be a fairytale princess, the strong-willed warrior, the lovely heroine.. She often daydreams to get away from her mediocre, boring, life. It can be a problem to get her head out of the clouds, and she'd rather be left alone with her fantasies and books than have to deal with reality.
Judgemental -- Just as she is prideful, Amaranth is also kinda really judgemental, holding others to a certain standard that some might go so far as to say is.... kind of bigoted. But is it any wonder that someone so wrapped up in tales of fantasy and legend would find repute in the 'old fashion' ways and roles? She holds tight to her views, and if that makes her disliked, then well...so be it. And perhaps she knows her views are wrong, and that's why she keeps them so closely guarded? After all, she isn't the kind of girl who is going to open her mouth and explicitly say what she is thinking, or act discriminatory or blatantly rude, but you just know she is judging you. Like your cat sitting in the bathroom door watching you on the porcelain throne.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Very large, round, almost white but really a pale lavender color, framed by very thick dark lashes. █████
Hair: Long, dark, straight, blunt-cut bangs. Looks almost black, but is a really dark purple. She has a pale lavender white streak that takes up 1/4th of her bangs on one side as well as the underside of her hair. ██████████
Face: Her face is dominated by her large eyes, but also features a small nose, full lips (despite a relatively tiny mouth) pink cheeks and a light smattering of freckles across her cheeks Her Skin tone could be described as 'porcelain.' She often wears a very light pinkish-purple lipstick. █████
Clothes: Mori-girl style with a subtle gothic flair.

Gray, Light olive green, and darker olive green. Bottoms -- Classic pleated skirt. White with Gray and Light Olive Green stripe on bottom. Also a translucent under-layer that peeks out from under the top skirt a few inches. Random stitching designs, tattered, gray. Tiara -- Same as Basic, but now with a teardrop gem dangling below the main gem, also in Light Olive Green. Choker -- Same as Basic. Shoes -- Same as Basic. Gloves -- Same as Basic. Accessories -- Very sheer tights with stitching designs on them.
Eternal Design:
Collar -- Same as Basic, but now with a tattered translucent gray under-layer that peeks out about an inch. Bow -- Same as Super. ((Butt wings of course are white, and I'd like a double thin ribbon going around her waist and tying at her hit in a small bow, then flowing long and pooling at the ground. Ribbon would have stitching designs, patches between stitches alternating between Gray, Light Olive Green, a Darker Gray, and a Darker Olive Green. Bodice -- Classic bodice. White. Sleeves -- Droopy off-the-shoulder wings. Brooch -- Like this, but in a heart shape, now with little silver wings. Heart is Gray, Light olive green, and darker olive green. Bottoms -- Classic pleated skirt, with patchwork design in Gray, Light Olive Green, Darker Gray, and a Darker Olive Green. Second layer is a lightly tattered translucent Gray. Third layer is a very tattered white translucent layer. Tiara -- Same as Super, but now around the gem there is tiny silver wings. (like on her brooch) Choker -- Same as Basic. Shoes -- Same as Basic. Gloves -- Come up just above the elbow. Gray. Accessories -- Very sheer tights with stitching designs on them.
Attacks:
Sailor Scout Attack: Steins Patchwork Shroud! Enemies within a 8ft radius see their surroundings and everyone in it as geometric patchwork shapes for 25 seconds. It is as if they are part of a quilt. Can be used 2 times per battle. This effect can be very disorientating to those effected.
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Steins Greater Patchwork Shroud! Enemies within a 8ft radius see their surroundings and everyone in it as geometric patchwork shapes for 35 seconds. It is as if they are part of a quilt, though much more complicated and intricate than her basic attack. Can be used 1 time per battle. This effect can be very disorientating to those effected.
Eternal Sailor Attack: Steins Patchwork Winding-Sheet! Instead of effecting the battlefield, this attack targets a single enemy. The target will begin to hallucinate that they them self are patched together - by what is up to the player. Effect lasts 45 seconds. Can be used once per battle.

For the most part, Steins looks great, just a couple small tweaks - her Super radius and time are a bit oversized, but 8 ft for 35 seconds should be fine! Also 60 seconds is a bit long for an attack in general; 45 would work better for her Eternal.
Otherwise she looks great, so just let me know when you've made changes and I'll be back!
