The final year of Crystal Academy had not been a walk in the park. Or a picnic. Nothing fun. For once, Kalina had really buckled down to get her grades to a great final resting place, and after achieving the perfect 4.0 GPA, and getting into honors courses at Destiny City University, her parents were, (of course), sending her on a summer holiday through Europe, which was wonderful…but she did really kind of want to get caught up…or at least somewhat caught up on her ‘other’ activities that she had been neglecting for school.
Tonight she was out, suited up and ready for action, back in the game. Sapphirine was looking for something to do…and was sadly remembering that just because she was back in the game…that didn’t mean she’d find something fun to do right off the bat…there were no people to taunt or any of the things she had done before.
What a pain. It didn’t even seem like anyone was out, on her side or not on her side…or…
Wait. There was someone. The senshi’s eyes lit up with excitement and she bounded her way over to where she felt the other aura, one that felt a lot like hers. She paused, nearly reaching the end of a building, and then sped up, leaping off of it and landing like a drunken cat, nearly on her feet, but stumbling at the last second, catching herself with her hand an popping back up.
She turned to face the other corrupt and held out a hand without even taking the other girl in. “Well howdy. I’m Sapphirine. It’s nice to meet you. It’s a shame it got so hot already, isn’t it?”

Adamantine's travels through the night were not far and wide, as she tried to stick close to where ever the pack seemed to be. She felt safer and more attuned to her group, when she patrolled in their hunting grounds and since she was a still a new corrupt senshi, she didn't push her luck by actively seeking out trouble.
The aura of something similar to her washed over her, and before she could adjust herself to the new oncoming person, she saw a whirl of dark hair and darker outfit.
Then a hand and she stared down at the darkened skin. "Adamantine." The girl offered but didn't take the hand, her arms crossing carefully over her chest as she looked the corrupt over. "Can I help you?" She wasn't much for idle chatter, and having someone start with it made her itchy. She was meeting more people at night then she had during the day.

For a moment, Sapphirine kept her hand extended, though she dropped it after a moment. Interesting. No more than that? Not even a little bit of curiosity? Or maybe this corrupt was just tired of other corrupts and she didn’t care to be friendly anymore…or maybe this girl wasn’t a corrupt at all…but…
Her eyes swept up and down Adamantine’s form, resting for a moment on the hole in her chest, as well as the one on her forehead. “...But you’re like me, right?” The words weren’t spoken loudly, and there was a hesitance in them that Kalina never had in normal, every day life…but this was different. She still wasn’t used to all of this, even though she should be.
“I apologize for coming on too strongly, I suppose. It’s just, you’re the first like me that I’ve seen and I was excited. I hope you have a pleasant evening, and perhaps I’ll see you around.” Her words were almost icy, and her posture had straightened. She held her head high, not wanting to let this other girl intimidate her. She was not one to crumble over someone who didn’t want to talk. It just wasn’t her way.

Adamantine wasn't sure how to feel about being examined by the woman, but because of her normal attitude, she would've been more surprised if it hadn't had have happened.
"I am a corrupt senshi, of Stardust." She tilted her head, "I am like you." The words were almost emotionless, but that was just how the young woman was. It was hard for her to convey interest or curiousity when she relied on monotone and direct comments.
"I don't understand the excitement." She answered bluntly, "I'm not use to someone being excited at the presence of myself." She wouldn't apologize for her behavior, not when the girl had done a total 180 and was now cold to her.
And she was not one to be out done in coldness.
"If that was all you wanted, why did you not stare from afar?" The girl returned, "Do you have a general? A team?"
