::Iwatodai::::Supernatural Hotbed:: Iwatodai...the modern, urban city caught in the midst of the Supernatural Hotbed...a place with so much political and economic influence that defense of this city became a priority to those few with the knowledge to begin defense against the oncoming storm...together with Inaba, Okina City, Tokyo, and the Oshu Region, these last few cities are the last defense of mankind against an unstoppable invasion. The world is coming to a crisis...and only you can save it! You are one of the few survivors of what is currently being called 'War of the Endtimes', and now you're standing smack in the middle of a town filled with demons who want nothing more than to tear you to pieces, humans who are slowly losing their sanity, and even worse things beyond that! Your only mission is to survive...and if possible, defeat the threat inherent behind it all! ...And also available to those of you who are ambitious and seek to demonstrate your strength in this messed up apocalypse, is a goal to wrack up a high score! You are a Devil Survivor! Your other powers are muted due to the swiftly deteriorating state of the world and its magic, and only the devils within your Summoning App are available to you as defense against the oncoming storm!
Though you're trapped in the city, you have means available to you to obtain even stronger weapons against the foes you will face! One of these means is a Demon Auction and a Cathedral of Shadows, through which you can win and fuse stronger demons to use against your foes! Based upon your performance throughout the event, stronger demons and fusions may be available to you...so the longer you survive, the more success you have, the better your odds of winning a great prize and surviving 'til the end will become! --------------------------- Roll/Event Guide- Every turn, you will roll a die 1-10000. Depending on your roll, your character may achieve one of several results...
-If you roll a 1, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, 6000, 7000, 8000, 9000, or 10000, you will defeat one of the primary enemies of the event...a General of Hell, General of Hel, a Fiend, or a General of the Underworld! You will receive [50 Tokens] for this feat and a [Fiend Prize]! This will advance the event to the next stage...until all major enemies are defeated!
-If you roll 2-999, you survive your post! (Receive a 'Mannikin Talisman'. Collect 5 Mannikin Talismans for a Prize!)
-If you roll 1001-1999 the forces of the Assembly of Nihilo ambush you! You fend them off and retreat temporarily! Choose: [Win 7 Tokens but your lowest level demon dies.], or [Sacrifice 5 Tokens and your highest level demon gains 2 levels]. (Receive one Digit of a '5-Digit Code'. Receive all 5 Digits for a Prize!)
-If you roll 2001-2999, 3001-3999 you successfully win an encounter with demons of either faction! This will allow you to gain a [Token]! Tokens can be spent on rewards once you have enough...
-If you roll 4001-4999, 5001-5999 you will win a difficult battle against a massive horde of demons. This will earn you [5 Tokens]!
-If you roll 6001-6999 you will defeat Special-Encounter Demon [7 Tokens + Automatically draw a demon 3 Levels above your current level].
-If you roll 7001-7999, you may Form a Fate Link with another character, Raise a Fate Link by +1 Level with someone you've already Formed a Link with (to a MAX of 5), or Encounter an NPC character and form a Fate Link with them. NPCs include Obelyn Cernunnos, Fenrisulfr, Jormungandr, Dante, Isamu, Chiaki, Hikawa, or the Riders of the Apocalypse, and others!. Receive 10 Tokens - Freely fuse two demons you control.
-If you roll 8001-8500, you may win a major encounter against the demons serving the Mantra. This will grant you [10 Tokens] and receive 1 Power Node! Collect 5 Power Nodes for a surprise.
-If you roll 8501-8999, you complete a mission in which you court or are possessed by a devil to defeat a terrifying foe. You earn [10 Tokens] for this mission, and obtain a [Special Demon] for your Cathedral of Shadows Summoning App! Receive [1 Shard] of 'Mask of Aradia'. Receive 5 Shards to complete the mask and receive a prize!
-If you roll 9001-9500, Complete a Minor Bounty Hunt for Obelyn Cernunnos and slay one of the lesser servants of Loki or Lucifer. [Earn 10 Tokens and earn 10 Macca. If you earn 250 Macca, something may become available to you under certain conditions...]
-If you roll 9501-9999, you encounter True Chaos Demi-Fiend Tala Ivanov and are ruthlessly killed...OR by a Rival Faction! Either of these is [Game Over] and your character is removed from the event.
-You may redeem Tokens for various perks, listed below.Quote: Token Guide- 10 Tokens: Win a new demon from an auction! Demon must be within 3 Levels of your own. -15 Tokens: Fuse two demons you own together! [Create a demon 5 Levels above your own.] Guide. -Random: At occasional points, auctions may be held in the OoC or the Guild Skype Chat! You will be able to bid as many Tokens as your character has in order to win the devils/items available in this auction. -25 Tokens: In the event of a [Game Over], you may redeem 25 Tokens in order to remain in the game. "And what of what I want? Justice...revenge for the sister they murdered?!"It happened in a flash...so fast, it was hard to believe that it had ever really happened at all. The way the skies and the portals beneath the ground seemed to open up like a gaping maw of fire and shadow, the hordes of warring devils that seemed to emerge in an endless horde from each of these portals across the world. It all began in Japan, but that was only the beginning, the flashpoint from which the world was engulfed in this War of the Endtimes. Devils...demons...even some Angels, estranged or transformed humans...they were forced to choose their sides as the Two Great Lords of Hell faced off against one another with their true might for the first and last time, to decide which future for the Underworld was the only future for the Underworld, and the Earth itself was caught in the crossfire. Humanity was a mere puppet, an accessory, to a war beyond their own ken. And it fell in a matter of 7 days...
...But even after the end game, and humanity died by the billions around the world, the War of the Endtimes continued without a victor. And it continued to rage, the heart of the matter in the tiny landmass of Japan, where the last hopes of humanity were shielded against total annihilation by an ally in the shadows...someone who hoped to turn the boundless potential of man against the two Overlords who used them like playthings for their own machinations. That man was the Red Viper, a disenfranchised Lord of the Underworld with a Grudge. And as the 7th Day of Destruction passed, a new 1st Day dawned...
...A new Genesis of Man, a new Conception, was about to begin. As the humans who slept, protected from the war, awaken from their forced slumber and step out into the world, a voice greets them...the voice of their protector, their 'Ally in the Apocalypse'. It poses a simple question...

The Lord of Darkness and the Trickster God have brought chaos, destruction, and upheaval into your world for nothing but their own petty feud, yet for you, it is a calamity beyond all others. Until now, my power has shielded you from the destruction...but my power is waning, and I can no longer guard you against the horrors that await in the streets and the world beyond. Five cities remain standing, though heavily infested with your enemies...and everywhere, those enemies will seek to annihilate you. It is a world unlike anything you have seen...and for some, it may be too much to handle. But I see within your heart...an ember, a fierce strength...and I want to use that fire to strike back against the self-proclaimed Gods who have hurt you.

...His message is heavy, and hard to hear, but one look beyond the veil which had once protected you and now fades reveals that you have indeed been sleeping through something impossible...the end of days, and a war that filled the world with devils and dust and destruction. And in his words is an implicit question...a choice that must be made.

The silverette was lost..... And no less so, when she emerged to see the Ruins of Toyko, after some sort of climactic battle.
"Oh..Oh gods.." she thought with a gasp, looking around. She'd..been asleep for a while, it seemed.....But...
'A war....? Our power..' she thought, remembering the last time she had gotten involved in this kind of nightmarish situation. She was lost, scared, and confused back then, but now...
"I'm.I'm not afraid." she called, reaching for the sword at her side, as she started out into the ruins. "I can...do this. It's just like before. Minus..my demonic allies..of course."
Well, almost. A glance at her phone revealed a familiar, if different app..and a single ally. A poltergeist...
'I hope that's not a sign of things to come..'
A single demon approached her, looking ready for a fight. As if on instinct, the silverette walked past it...and then swung her blade, cleaving it in two.

That...was about the only response that Shun could feel was...appropriate, given the scenario. Things had gone south during an untimely power-nap...And, when he'd opened his eyes, there was nothing but war, catastrophe, and otherwise turmoil as far as the eye could see. He looke panicked for a bit, scared at the changes of the world....But...
"Ohhh man.." he thought out loud, before gripping his two swords. "Ohhh man...So, it's totally open season on fighting? I can run around with my weapons, and no one will bat an eye? That sounds AWESOME!'
He heard the voice calling...Telling them of their situation...and asking them that question. Not did they want to survive...Not did they want to exist...No...

Kou Nekata, Lion of the Bad Future
"Two on one might seem unfair, but I promise you would rather it be US than HER."Well, this was s**t.
I mean, after all that they had gone through in that Corrupted Future just in order to survive and eventually be given the chance to head back through the Corridor to reach the world where their parents were still alive, their family was still whole, and their village was still standing, they instead emerged into a world where once again, everything was broken. The world, the people, the minds and hearts of those who remained in the wasteland created by whatever war had torn it asunder. He could hear the telltale screams of men and demons, and he had no doubt that the 'bad news' instincts in his brother's body were firing off at rocket speeds, warning him of all sorts of impending danger in every direction. This was an apocalypse, a war zone. ...But then, even thought he agreed with the 'Ally in the Apocalypse' that teaming together and moving forward to fight against the people responsible was really the only path right now, the Red Viper had made one mistake in his summation with regards to the Bash Brothers of the Nekata Clan and their formidable sister.
...They had spent their whole lives growing up under the threat of death. The apocalypse, constant danger, fighting...they were all quite familiar to the trio. And this, although it stood on a destructive scale unlike anything they had ever seen before, made his blood stir in a way that was both sickening (due to the loss he knew this world must have suffered, to the futility of their trip in the Corridor, and beyond) and exciting. His right hand clutched tightly at his nail bat as his left hung limply at his side, eyes shifting towards the companions who had traveled from the Bad Future together with him for an expected confirmation. This world...this Apocalypse. It was going to be one Hell of a fight.
"I don't suppose we could find another decent version of that Time Wizard in this world to send us to the right place this time, could we?" he quipped rhetorically, glancing off into the distance at the top of the massive Mist Wall on Port Island and the construction equipment there, knowing that the odds of finding a helpful Cesc Fabregas in this time...for many reasons...were very low, "That tower looks like a nice marker to shoot for, for now. If nothing else, we should be able to scope out the rest of the city from there."Quote: 0 Tokens

An unfamiliar voice snapped, glancing back. They had been wandering around for so long it was refreshing to see any kind of world....
But, at the same time..
'Why'd it have to be this wrecked one?' the Nekata twin thought with a tight frown, looking around. 'I Mean, this is like we just went in a whole circle! We did follow the right path..right?'
This is why he didn't trust Kou with the map. Kou was methodical, and smart, and otherwise the witty one....But, he had no manner of bending with these things! His instincts weren't as sharp....And, as it stood, they looked..lost.
"I swear....next time, we're rock-paper-scissors-ing for who decides which way we go, Kou. You okay, Kyouko?"
Their sister wouldn't be far behind...and, if the world was going to be a wreck like this then...
'I can already smell a fight brewing.' he thought with a grin, reaching for the knives in his pocket. They had been pacing around for so long, he could use a good fight to loosen up.
A scuffle would likely ensue soon...And, even without his Young Baihu to call on, the summoner was no less adept at handling things. His knife cut through an Obaryion, as he grinned a toothy grin.
'This is going to be Fun.."

'So many demons..' she thought, a hand on her blade. Some of them were just waiting around, pacing the area like herself. More of them ignored her than catching a glance...But..
'Where...where is everyone?' she thought with a slight bit of tension in her body winding up...before a black hat caught her eye. She paced over past the demons, and rounded the corner, seeing the owner of the hat. A...strange boy she hadn't seen before.
"Umm...hello?" she called, watching the boy jump a bit."Grah..! Don't scare me like that!" the boy called, pulling on his hat. "Oh...I don't think you're from school.""Ah..? Do you go to Yasogami?""Yasogami? Doesn't ring a Bell.." the boy called, shaking his head. "Oh.." the girl called, before suddenly moving forward. "W..well..have you seen.""Sorry, but I haven't seen anyone but you since I got here." the boy interrupted, waving a hand. 'Though..I heard there's a way to get to other cities. She had held her weapon at her side in caution, but relented as the boy showed to be no threat. He instead showed her the amala network...and a rough idea on how to get from city to city.
"Thank you, Nitta-kun." she called to the boy, prompting him to rub the back of his head."Ahhh, it was nothin'." the boy called, grinning. "You can pay me back later. Oh, and....If you see a girl named Chiaki, let me know..wouldja?""Chiaki..?" Youmu sounded, before nodding slightly. "I'll..let you know."'Can't miss her. The girl took a deep breath, and sharply exhaled. Things were tense, but at the same time...She knew.
"Earthys....I need your help." she called, holding out her hand. "There are too many people in trouble, and we need to defeat this terrifying foe. Will you lend me your power?"
The girl waited, trying to give the demon plenty of time to think it over..and giving it her cutest, most innocent face. For a few tense moments, she waited...before it nodded it's head.
"A..ah..! Awesome!" the girl called, feeling the demon's energy flow through her, and into her app. She looked it over with a small glint in her eyes, smiling..
"Earthys.." she thought, before the screen flickered...and a terrifying force emerged. A Red haired being....going after a silver haired boy. She flinched as she watched the being approach...and then rip the man to shreds.
"O..Oh my god.." she whimpered, before remembering what Isamu had taught her. About the Amala Network, and...

"Pixie nooo!" he called out dramatically as he swung his blades..Tearing the enemies asunder. As he recovered from the mental trauma of it though, he looked at his phone.

Shun FujomakiAs he paced around the area though...another occurrence...well, occurred. The boy looked up at a formidable foe, and blinked slowly.
"Oh..I'm gonna need help for this one." he thought out loud, looking around. "Demonic ally pal buddies? Someone wanna give me a bit of help? This kind of foe will just mess us up otherwise."
There was an eerie silence, before the boy readied his blades.
"Come forth, greatest of allies! Join me and my Pixie...and we shall conquer even the greatest of foes! I promise you nothing....Nothing but GLORY!"
He posed with his weapons, and held his breath...the beings looking over him. He waited..and waited..and waited..before one went forward.'I want glory!'That's the spirit!" he called, letting the demon's energy fill him..As he went to tear apart the demon that terrorized them. It was a battle fit for a king..!

Made for an epic combo! He tore through the horde of enemies like a buzz-saw, energy, and blood flying every which way. He giggled as he stopped, flicking his blades to try to rid them of the accumulated..filth.

"Oh wow..you guys must be pissed." he thought with a chuckle, hoisting his blades over his head in a battle stance once again. "Well, lucky for me.....My blades are still holding strong! So, I can still fight you off...For now, at least."
He moved through the group of demons like a saw once more, earthen magic helping to accent his strikes, and otherwise make the demons in general...have a bad time.
And as he grinned ear to ear, cutting demons down left and right...he wondered...
