I was about to spout off an answer, but then I started thinking too deeply about it. sweatdrop
I was gonna go touch or taste, but not being able to ever taste food again? Or touch, that would be dangerous. You'd never know if you were hurt or not. So.. I'd say Speaking, I think. There are a lot of ways to communicate.

Definitely smell. It would suck not being able to smell the scents I enjoy, but it would be nice to not have to smell the things I hate.

Definitely smell for me, too.
You can kind of taste scents in food, so taste would be exponentially stronger.

oot, if you don't mind me being little miss correction, I think you have it backwards. Your sense of taste is linked to smell, but it's stronger if you can smell. It's why kids are usually taught to hold their noses when they have to take terrible medicines. (I held my nose any time I was forced to eat tuna when I was younger XD) Try it if you are of drinking age and wanna take a shot cat_xp makes it easier if you don't mind the weird looks haha

Smell. hands down, i would give up smell. I decided before the page even loaded.
The thought of losing the others, especially hearing or sight, is enough to make my skin tingle uncomfortably. I've talked about it before when my friend and I talked to a guy who did one of those sensory deprivation tanks at some spa, and the idea of being deprived of my senses made me anxious. So hearing and sight are a must. As is touch. All are key for me in communication. Also as an artist, i kind of need them.
Now, smell and taste on the other hand. I find smell is the one i could do without. Though, losing one will have some effect on the other, ddefinite smell i could give up.

Does that mean taste would be mostly missing as well?

I think I would give up either taste or smell. Taste because then I could eat all the healthy foods without the yuck taste. Smell because well farts and such.
