Leo would reach the dorm room first, using his scroll to unlock the electronic lock on the door. Opening the door, he would see a basic room with four beds, two on either half, with plenty of walking room, a few scattered bookshelves, desks, and a large window looking out into the courtyard. Ignoring all of that, he would walk to the corner of the room with the least clutter around and place his pack down, unstrapping his bedroll from it and laying it onto the ground there. After he had set up his sleeping area, he would walk to one of the beds and take the sheets off of it. Using some of the rope from his pack, he would set up a basic curtain to split the room, thinking that Lillian would appreciate the privacy. Looking at the stripped bed, he would frown in thought for a moment before taking the mattress off of the second bed on the guy's side, sheets and all, and placing it on top of the stripped bed. Pleased with his work, he would drag the empty bed frame closer to his bedroll and set his pack on top of that, using it as a makeshift workstation as he unloaded his bag of the herbs from earlier and his journal, silently getting to work on his medication.
He would frown when he saw that he was out of empty capsules and vials. With a sigh, he would go into a hidden pocket inside his pack and pull out a specialized electronic cigarette, holding it as if it would shatter if he wasn't careful. Setting it down to the side, he would begin prepping the herbs for the smoking powder that he would need in order to take his medication. After a few minutes of work, he would have all of the herbs in portioned bags and placed next to the cigarette. With his medication out of the way, he would take the turkey, his spices, and his three journals and walk out of the room, heading for the kitchen. Duo, who was sitting in the hallway, would follow him as he made his way to the dorm's cafeteria. Once inside the kitchen, Leo would grab all the necessary tools to properly prepare the bird, quickly getting to work. After a few minutes of messy preparation, Leo would use the last of his spices from his pack to season the bird before putting it into the oven to cook. It would take about an hour for the bird to fully cook, Leo knew, so he would find a seat in the cafeteria to occupy and look through his journals while he waited.
It wouldn't even be fifteen minutes until Leo heard crashes from the kitchen. Before he could react, Duo would come trotting out of the kitchen, looking pleased with himself as he carried out a large bottle of cheap wine. Duo would take a seat next to Leo and use his teeth to pop the cork off the bottle before falling onto his back with the bottle in his paws, chugging the contents happily. “Quite the problem you have there...” Leo would mutter to Duo before going back to his journals. Duo would ignore him and continue to drink, belching in content once he drained the bottle dry. Having left Unity Concordia on his back while he prepared his medication and food, Leo would draw it and separate it quietly, looking through his father's notes about the weapons' maintenance and upkeep. Sheathing everything into his rig, he would slip it off of his back and set it onto the table in front of him, moving onto his mother's notes about combat styles with the weapon styles each of the blades were. He knew these parts by heart, but there was something soothing about reading his parent's handwriting when it came to his weapon. A link that he felt could have been the only true connection he had left to the people that he never truly knew.

[Previously] Lilian looked to Leo with teary eyes, and she sniffled them away like a little child, she was at least reassured that this dog wasn't like the vicious ones that had attacked her from her earlier childhood. Still, she held fear for the animals. It would take a long time for her to adjust to the new companion, as well as build a "trust" with the creature.
When he mentioned how tired he was getting, as was heading to the dorms, Lilian, slightly smiled and nodded her head in agreement. She was excited to share an open space with her two team mates. Sure she was the only female for now, but all she could think of was how much fun it would be. Totally disregarding any form of barriers of their gender, she was just over all thrilled to be on a team.
[Now]
Walking down the hallway with a wide smile, and lightly humming, Lilian would stop from time to time, to check out the displayed portraits of their previous hunters, and headmasters that lead up to their current ones. Looking back over to Leo, she had watched him already walking out of the room, and head in a different direction. She tilted her head, and hurried over to the open doorway he had just left from, assuming it was their room. Peaking on inside, she noticed that Leo had modified the bedroom, separating the beds with a makeshift curtain made out of the bed linens. her ears slightly dropped, as she lightly pouted.
In a way, Lilian was a bit disappointed, she had hopped it would be open spaced for all of them to face one another as equals. This just made her feel in some sense, subjected because of her gender. Then again, tilting her head to the right, she perked her ears up once more. With a soft smile, she did see how he was being considerate for her need of privacy, after all, she IS a girl. Heading on inside, Lilian admired the bookshelf, and all that was displayed. She set her satchel on what would be her bed, and examined the room for a bit.
Deciding she would be the first to take a shower, she began undressing herself, leaving a trail of clothes leading to the bathroom. Once inside, Lilian closed the door behind her, and began to draw out the warm water. Stepping on inside, she let the water hit against her back first before turning around slowly to let the water hit against her bare chest. Lilian closed her eyes, and allowed her mind to wonder else where.

Zack Shadowheart
Having made his way out of the docks, Zack would take backstreets out of the town, wanting to keep hidden in case someone saw his handy work. Upon reaching the outskirts of the town leading to the academy, he would come across a peculiar sight. A motorcycle lying on its side, looking to be in good condition, with a sign saying “free to a good home”. Perhaps the actions of a zealous wife or girlfriend, angered by their partner's recent actions? Walking over to it, Zack would pull it upright and use the kickstand to keep it in place as he thoroughly inspected it. Everything was there, and it even had nearly a full tank of fuel. Looking around to see if there was anyone nearby, Zack's hopes would begin to rise. “Ohhh, please tell me that I'm not dreaming and I get to take this little beauty home...” He would whisper to himself, hardly believing his luck tonight. He would activate his shades to scan the area for the keys, which he would find almost immediately, and scan the bike for any tracking devices. Confirming that it was clean, he would whoop in joy as he got on and kicked the bike to life, thoroughly enjoying the purr of the engine as he took off to the academy.
When he returned to the academy, he would drive the bike through the courtyard, planning on parking it at the dorms to show it off to Leo, he would enjoy tinkering with it for sure. Upon pulling back the brake bar, he would immediately understand why the bike was abandoned. The brakes were on the bike, but the connection was severed. “Ehhh... No brakes... Crap... crapcrapcrapcrapcrapcrapCRAP!!!” Zack would yip in panic as he did his best to slow down, turning the bike sideways and using his right foot to dig into the ground and slow his momentum. Unable to fully stop, Zack would slip off the bike and roll a few times to come to a stop. The bike would slide on its side and come to a stop when it collided with the bushes nearby, not doing any real damage to either the bike itself, or the bushes. Sighing in relief, he would jog over to the bike and turn it off before yanking it free from its prison. “That was fun... Better work on this with Leo before going for a joyride again.” Zack would mutter to himself before walking it to the dorms, parking it off to the side of the entryway before smelling something going on in the dorm's cafe.
With a grin, Zack would walk into the cafeteria and see Leo with his nose in his journals, and Duo at his feet, sleeping soundly on his back with an empty bottle of cheap wine laying next to him. “Got enough to feed three? It's been a while since I cad some good, old fashioned campfire turkey.” Zack would call out to him, taking a seat next to the boy and ruffling his hair playfully. “It's been too long little brother, time for you to weave some interesting tales of your time on the road after I left.” Zack would say with a genuinely warm smile, happy to finally sit down and talk with family after so long.
Eva unlocked the dorm and lead her teammates inside. She wasn't terribly impressed with the room. It was on the small side; large enough for their beds, desks, some bookshelves, and some dressers. "Any demands for who gets which bed?" she asked, looking at the boys. She didn't think they would fight over bed choices, they seemed practical enough that they wouldn't be worried over who was next to them or which bed they chose. At least she hoped they wouldn't, she was a bit too tired to deal with them fighting tonight.
『Garnet looked around, a rather dull luster to his golden hues. He had expected this and wasn't too disappointed, as he knew better than to hope for more space. Still, it would suffice. He looked to Eva and the others. "Don't really care who sleeps near me as long as I get one by the wall." He shrugged and strolled to the bed farthest to the left. "I'm claiming this one." He said as he flopped onto it. It wasn't as comfortable as him bed at home, but Garnet could sleep anywhere, so he'd get used to it eventually.』

[Previously] Lance over heard a commotion that was further inside. Apparently, there was a dog chancing poor Lilian. When she had yelped in response to the little pup, he also shot a quick glance to Garnet who seemed all to quick to respond to her plea. "Interesting" He announced quietly to himself. Although his attention span was short, he found himself dozing off into his own mind, and looking blankly to the side for some time, his eyes quickly landed on a new figure entering assembly hall, where she was soon after greeted by the two headmasters. Lance then tuned in on what deer faunus boy said, and looked to him with his usual blank expression. "I agree, it would be better to figure out whats best to utilize in terms of combat...." He responded. he then looked to the group before landing his gaze to Eva. "Sleep...." Was all he could say, and think about.
[Now] Lazily making his way to the dorm, he waited patiently for Eva to open the door. She made a remark as to claiming a bed, but his first thought went to noticing how the beds only had one blanket, and one pillow each. "This won't do..." He said to himself, and heard a cart being pushed nearby. It was room service with clean linens. When the woman walked into a nearby corridor, leaving the cart, Lance walked over to said cart, and grabbed two more blankets, wrapping it around himself, as well as an extra pillow, before tiredly walking into their dorm, and plopping himself on the bed beside the window. "Much better." He added on rather content. From any other point of view, he looks like a white cotton ball with only his head poking out. Either way, this kept him warm, and happy.

Hirsch looked around in awe of their dorm room. He beamed. "Is it okay if I have the other bed that's next to the wall?" he asked. "But if you want it, I can do without." He watched Lance as he left the room, grabbed two more blankets, then proceeded to burrito himself in blankets. He blinked twice, then turned back to Eva.
"So, boss, what's the first thing on the agenda?" he asked. "Anything that you wanted to go over?" He felt like he was asking too much, or maybe more like directing the conversation too much, but he wanted to see what it is that Eva wanted to do, as team leader. He'll put a stop to his questioning when he felt like she could do it herself- or when she would tell him to shut up. Whichever came first.

Lilian slowly woke up lumped over the bathtub. Laying sideways on the tile floor, while her legs were still in the tub, the once hot water- now ran cold, and the curtain was mangled wit her soft/fair skin. Lilian placed her right hand to her forehead, and pinched her temples wit her slender index finger, and thumb. It took her a minute to remember exactly what happened.
[Previously] While taking her hot shower, she continuously reminded herself not to take too long, as the steams would make her pass out. However, she couldn't help but worry over her missing brother. She cared about him dearly, and worried for his safety. But lately, she has also been developing a fear of him. He has been acting strangely, and disappearing a lot.....Even appears cold at times, not her twin that she remembered....Still...She loved him, and wished for his safe return, and soon hopefully. However, the echo's of Leo's voice popped into her head, how he has been reassuring her that everything will be alright.
Lilian opened her eyes, and placed her hands to her face, as she felt herself lightly blushing. "Why did he come to mind?" She asked herself. She turned her back to the hot pouring water from the shower head, to wash off the rest of the body soap, and closed her eyes once more, her hands automatically resting back to the center of her chest, as if asking her heart to be still. The voice of Leo echoed in her mind again, and she falls into another deep thought of how they first met, how he caught her, and how he was sick......Speaking of such! Before Lilian could fight out her drowsiness, she had slipped into a heavy dream state, and passed out.
[Now] Lilian moved her hand away from her temple back to the side of her head, to let out another groan. "Silly me....Always causing myself problems....." She began to think that maybe she wasn't cut out after all. She is so clumsy that she worries it may hinder the her teams missions in the near future...Lilian shook her head once again and placed a small smile. "No, I need to just better myself!" She reassured her, remembering how Leo was able to do the same for her.
Lilian went to stand up, but yelped from the sharp pain to her right leg. This caused her to panic, and quickly looked to her upper calf, only to see a nasty bruise. This wasn't good, she relied on er legs greatly in combat....Hopefully they wont be sent on a mission any time soon.....she hopes. With sharp inhales, Lilian was able to take a stand, using the sink as support for now. Turning off the shower head, she wrapped a towel around herself and stepped out to the cool air of their dorm room.
She then went to her satchel, and saw that she had forgotten to bring cloths. Blushing from embarrassment, she frantically looked around. Eventually she searched the drawers, and was only able to find a large white button-up long sleeve shirt. It was obviously for men, but for now, it will have to suffice. Once buttoned up in her pajamas , the young girl looked around to see that Martin had not shown up yet, nor Leo returned.
Biting her bottom lip, this was the second time she was alone. (The first being in the forest) If you haven't figured it out now, she has a fear of the dark, and being left alone. Lilian walked over to the door that lead to the hallway, and peaked out. "H-Hello?" She said a bit scared. She lifted her left ear, and quickly turned her head as she heard talking in the distant. She felt tears welling up, and she bolted for the other dorm.
In the entry way she saw Eva, and the other Faunus, and instantly became hesitant. However, peeking through the doorway, she saw someone she had earlier familiarized herself with, she hurried her way on through. "Garnet!" She cried out happily. She stood to the side of his bed, not able to hold back the tears, as she tried to speak as clear as day. "I....I can't find martin.....O-Or Leo!......Leo never came back, and Martin never showed.......A-and.....And!" She couldn't finish her sentence as she tried her best to wipe away the tears with her sleeves. "I-I'm sorry! I know you're tired or busy.....I just....I didn't know what to do.....and I got scared...." She added on with small sniffles.

『Red. That's all he could see when he closed his eyes. Red and her smile as she reached out to him, beginning him to leave her. But why? Why would he do that? He couldn't stand for such an idea... At least, that's what he thought. There was an empty feeling that replaced her dying words and he laid there, numb.
However, that didn't last long because soon he was startled into an upright position by the appearance of a crying Lilian. He was thankful for the escape from his thoughts, though he would have preferred a smile over tears. "Hm?" He looked up at her, listening as his sharp gaze softened a bit. Poor girl. "Hey... It's alright, Lilian. You're okay now." He shifted, trying to ignore the hollowness inside him as he stood to put an arm over her shoulders in a comforting half-hug. "Would you mind if I helped her look for her team?" Garnet asked, mostly directing the question at Eva, as she was kind of in charge.』
Upon hearing the familiar voice, Leo would close his journal and look over to Zack who had taken a seat next to him. Seeing his smile, Leo would give a small smile in return, genuinely happy for the first time in a long while. The smile wouldn't last long however, when Zack asked for what had happened while they were on their separate ways. After a long pause, Leo would take a deep breath and say the first thing that came to mind. “...Old Dalan died... Protecting me from some Ursa Majors last year...” And with that statement, a proverbial floodgate opened within Leo, causing him to break down and weep for the first time since Dalan's death. “They knocked me out, nearly threw me off a damn cliff... and he lowered his guard to get me out of the way. By the time I came to, I saw them strike him down... And the next thing I knew, I saw red... I killed them both... and I saw myself as a monster...” Leo would grip his right arm, almost like he was trying to will something within it away. After a few minutes of crying, he would take a few deep breaths and stand, his internal clock at work. “The turkey should be done now... Sorry...” He would walk into the kitchen and take the turkey off the flame, grabbing a few plates and utensils, he would put the turkey onto a serving platter and bring it all out expertly to the table, cutting into the tender meat and serving up enough for the three of them, with plenty more to spare.
Duo would immediately wake up and jump at his serving, scarfing it down like a savage. Leo would silently eat his food, feeling completely drained in a good way. How long was it since he actually opened up to someone? Apperantly it had been too long, because even as he ate his food, tears were still streaming down his face, adding onto the mental and emotional relief he was feeling. With a sigh, he would look to Zack and smile once more. “We'll have plenty of time to talk, right Professor Shadowheart?” With a lighthearted laugh, Leo would shake his head. “Let me guess, combat classes, right? At least we'll be able to spar like before... I would like that anyway...” Leo would look down at his half finished plate and frown slightly, memories of the past playing in his mind.

❋ Chrysanthemum "Chrissy" Sorrel ❋
╔
Chrissy was humming to herself softly and swaying in time to the music when she entered the kitchen. She was surprised to see Leo and Zack there. Seeing Leo crying made her worried but she was certain that Zack could care for him for now. "Both of you are going to be nothing but trouble all year, are you?" she said, sighing and fetching a box of tissues for Leo and lightly smacking Zack's shoulder for leaving earlier.
"Well, if you boys are willing to help, I wouldn't mind some assistance. I had planned to make enough for all the students." She shook her head as she could tell that they were only eating meat. They'd need someone to bully them into eating their vegetables and while she might not be the strongest in the school she certainly wouldn't let the two of them wiggle their way out of her care.
She set to work gathering the things she wanted to use, her movements graceful as she danced through the kitchen. Initially she'd been planning to make something simple and some applesauce cookies. Instead she thought perhaps it would be good to go all out with a full meal and a citrus cake.
The news struck Zack hard, but not nearly as hard as seeing Leo, the strong, brilliant kid he trained with all those years ago, break down. “Sheesh... you're trying to be too strong little brother... But I suppose that I'm the first truly friendly face you've seen this past year... I'm sorry I wasn't here for you sooner.” He would say solemnly, putting a hand on the boy's shoulder reassuringly. He would nod when Leo got up to get the turkey, smelling it from his seat. “Good to see that you haven't lost your touch with grub, I'll be relying on you from now on. The food here is...” He would stop speaking the moment he felt Chrissy walk in, not even needing to see her to know that she was there. “...Great, fantastic even. I'm sure you'll be able to learn a lot.” He would say in an even tone and pace, almost like it was second nature at this point. Looking to her as she walked past, he would smile softly, keeping his hand on Leo's shoulder. “You know me by now darlin', trouble always finds me. As for Leo here... He's a good kid... Life just hasn't given him much of a fair shot is all.” He would say quietly before ruffling Leo's hair once more and digging into the turkey, grateful for the comfort food. “Yep, combat and survival. I'll be using you as my demonstration dummy for most of it, so be ready for a daily a** kicking from your older brother.” He would grin at Leo before he stared off into space.
Taking this time to follow Chrissy, he would lean against the wall nearby as she started to get to work on the meal she was preparing. “His file may or may not contain these facts, but you need to know his past before you try to interact with him like you would the other students...” He would start in a neutral tone of voice. “He's lost everything, many times over to the Grimm, and as a result, he's gotten this idea into his head that he shouldn't become close to anyone at all. You try to get close to him, treat him with ample amounts of kindness like you always do to others, and he will shut you out hard. He's a strong kid mentally, but his heart is far too fragile right now to let anyone in, let alone any kindness from others. Give him time. I hope that this Academy will be the saving grace he truly needs right now, but it may not happen for a long time yet...” He would say sadly, glancing out to where Leo sat, still in a daze. He would then look to her and give her a small smile, showing a bit of his own fear and sadness for Leo. “It may sound cruel, but please leave him alone for a while. He'll come to you when he's ready, he's smart enough to know when people will genuinely look out for him... He's family, he'll warm up to you eventually, I'm sure.” With those final words, Zack would fall silent as he glanced at her work and quietly prepare the meal next to her, using the simple task to keep his mind off of his own grief for the old friend that had passed.

Feeling the shy embrace from Garnet's half hug. Lilian kept her tear-soaked sleeves to her eyes, she she sniffled some more before taking a step closer to rest her forehead against his chest. Her long bunny ears flopped behind her head, as she took in short breaths to try and calm herself down. Hearing him comfort her with calm words, as short as they were, helped a bit.
Once the tears stopped, she shyly looked up to Garnet before looking over to his team leader, Eva, and then back to Garnet again. She didn't quiet understand why he needed permission, but then again, now they they all had their teams, and team leader, maybe now it was time to act accordingly to said position....But then in that retrospect, she has been rather...failing in that department.
Lilian placed her hands to Garnet's chest, and lightly tugged on his shirt. "I hope she's not mad I barged in........I'm sorry......" She whispered, to embarrassed to fully address her boldness from just entering unannounced earlier. If one hasn't figured it out already, Lilian tends to apologize a lot, even if she wasn't at fault. Still, the issue remained in finding her other teammates.....
Eva nodded slightly as her teammates each claimed a bed and started to get settled. "I don't think there's anything we need to go over tonight Hirsch. I think we'll..." she trailed off as Lillian came in, surprised to see the girl go to Garnet and burst into tears. She supposed it was a bit distressing to be in a foreign place and have everyone disappear on you but surely her teammates would come back sooner or later. Still, the other girl needed her and she wasn't going to let her down.
"Sure Garnet. I'll go with you both. Hirsch, can you call my scroll if either of her teammates return before we find them?" she asked, figuring it would be best to have someone to watch in case they missed Lilian's teammates while searching. She turned back to Lilian and offered her a soft smile. "Don't worry too much. We'll find them. If we don't find them and Hirsch doesn't call we can find the headmaster or one of the teachers to try to find them."
