Enough is enough. We have waited long enough for The Grand Weaver to provide for us. He tried, we cannot fault him for that, but those he left us with were cowards or ridden with madness! We can no longer sit on our paws and wait to have our way handed to us. No... we will take hold of our own lives and forge a way with the fire that runs through our veins.
It's time that we make our own way. Unfortunately, this means that those clinging to the old ways- hoping to have their so-called "fate" catered to them need to be crushed. We cannot grow stronger with the weak clinging to our heels and dragging us back into the past. Cast them off and charge ahead!

We're looking for Dragon Army soldiers, officials, supporters, and even victims.
Dragon Army Mentality || The Dragon Army will be commanded by Shen, a ruthless fire B'alam with a fire in his belly and absolute devotion to seeing the Fire Tribe stand above all others. He's a charismatic leader with an iron will and a silver tongue. While his methods are more than a little questionable, his intentions are just enough. His tribe's spirit has been collectively crushed. They feel abandoned by their Magi and the Weaver himself, they feel somehow lower than the other tribes, weaker, because their Magi were unable to shoulder the burden of their task. He will stop at nothing to put a fire back into the belly of his tribeskin and instill pride in the Fire Tribe once more. The other tribes are weak for having to rely on a Magus to lay their foundation. The Fire Tribe can do it on their own, without divine intervention or the chains of fate pulling them towards a predetermined destination. Fate is in their paws- and they're all the better for it.
Basic Guidelines || → The Dragon Army is exclusively Fire Tribe. Shen will not tolerate non-fire tribe members within the territory. He's developed a disliking of them, seeing them as weak for having to rely on a Magus to keep their cultures strong. → The Dragon Army will only accept strong, capable members into their military ranks. More meek B'alam will assist in whatever way they can, but Shen needs only the strongest in his military. → The Dragon Army will be openly hostile towards outsiders at first. Even those interested in joining the military will be held for a period and must prove themselves loyal before gaining admission into the military. → Defiance will not be tolerated. Anyone that questions orders will enter one-on-one combat with Shen himself. → The Dragon Army acknowledges the Grand Weaver but sees their place as having to prove themselves capable of living without the guidance of a Magus appointed by him. → Non-Fire Tribe B'alam within the lands will be faced with a choice: Leave or become subjected. Non-Fire B'alam will essentially become second-class citizens.

FC Ranks are your chance to take one of your beloved pre-existing B'alam and shoot them up to the status of being a Featured Character! There will be some premades up for grabs, but if you have a B'alam that just fits hand-in-glove into this role, you can apply for them to take on one of these tasks.

"Casual Play" Positions|| Participation Ranks ||

PR's are ranks for more casual players who want to participate- but aren't obligated to pump out the high volume, high profile RP's as the FC's. These also allow you to have a character participate without the stress and guidelines of an FC. There's no limit to these, and we do encourage participation- but we won't require it.
If you choose to apply for an PR Rank, you must keep these things in mind: → You will be expected to participate in Meta RP's, but it's not required. → Your character can be rp'ed enough to earn a higher in-character status. → Your characters, if put into a military rank, will be assigned to a general and may be expected to participate in their unit during certain parts of the Meta. Again- expected, not required.
Open "PR" ranks || ► Dragon Army Soldier || These B'alam are the soldiers working under the generals and the commander. They'll fight tooth, claw, and horn to defend their land, drive away those that oppose their leaders, and secure their way of life. These B'alam have a chance to aid in the formation of a grand empire!
Of course, if you're itching for some drama and want to kill a B'alam off in the name of king and country- this could be your chance!
► Victims || Well... you've got to break a few eggs to make an omelette, right? These B'alam could be hesitant about Shen's rule, defiants, or outright sympathizers to the Phoenix Army when rumors begin to make their way in. Depending on what you want- these B'alam could become slaves, martyrs, or taken prisoner. If you want some juicy, tragic drama- this may be for you!
► Second Class Citizens || These are non-Fire Tribe B'alam. Unfortunately, Shen will not suffer his lands to be taken advantage of by B'alam who's tribes have already had everything handed to them. Non-Fire B'alam will become second class citizens, expected to work for the betterment of the Fire Tribe. They'll be servants, slaves, or hard laborers. You never know- there's some good plot potential here.

Plot Conclusion...

The conclusion of this plot is largely up in the air. We will allow the flow of the RP, the community of the Fire Tribe, and the patrons of the shop largely determine the final fate of Shen. All we know for sure is that the Dragon Army is destined to lose!
But! That is only the beginning.
The Dragon Army's most devoted followers may be exiled with their lord- if his life is spared. There is a chance that with or without Shen, the dragon may rise again...
Just be aware that your B'alam's fate and future may be up in the air! Take this into consideration and plan accordingly.

Magus can only use elemental magic, though fire magic is basically the conversion of friction into heat, so if there was an active fire tribe magus yes, they would be able to control fire, as long as their horns remained in tact. Like all magus, using ones elemental magics does take a toll on the user. (Other then this she has not been fleshed out yet) xxx◘ History || She awoke alone and stumbling in to the world (I did have her plan on getting some interaction, but I believe this meta will be much better at developing her) xxx◘ Why does this B'alam suite this position? As a cub lost and wandering the Fire tribe Territory I feel it would be a good plot for one of the Dragon Army to find her and perhaps learn of her ability (Which she does not know of right now), an ability which could be used to Shen's advantage. xxx◘ What plots would you like for this B'alam? Quite power hungry, but knows when he's beat. Loyal to a fault to those stronger then him. Quick to anger when he's treated like a weakling. xxx◘ History || Not much is known about this Balam, other then he showed up right before the split happened. He admires Shen for his strength and will follow him anywhere. xxx◘ Why does this B'alam deserve this position? Smaug can become ruthless, especially when it comes to holding power. He his loyal to a fault especially when he had demeed another to be worthy of his loyalty. If Shen is still alive Smaug will follow him to the ends of the earth If Shen is dead, Smaug will take up his place and try to become leader of those who are still faithful. The B'alam approaches Shen's newly established throne. The towering Tah lifts his head and drops his eyes, regarding the B'alam. "Tell me...why should I consider you? What can you offer to this tribe- and to me...?
Smaug knew that the first time he had laid his eyes upon Shen that he was strong. Even though he was newly awakened he could gauge that this one was even stronger then him. He knew what he must do, follow.
The Tah took his steps towards Shen without hesitation. No fear was in his eyes only admiration. "My undying loyalty" He spoke, there was no hesitation in his voice only truth. "The moment I saw you I knew you were stronger then I, it was at this time that I knew I had to serve you." His tail flicked behind him as a smile crossed his lips.
The next he spoke with confidence. "I am strong, though if you wish to gauge my strength with a contest you may and I will oblige."
Finally he bowed his head with respect as he spoke his final words. "I will serve you and only you. My Emperor." The Tah fell silent waiting to see what his lord would respond.

►The B'alam xxx◘ What Position are you applying for? Victim-Prisoner xxx◘ Which of your B'alam is applying for this position? xxx◘ Personality || Ice cold and opposite of Xazivera even though they are twins. He's aloof, sarcastic, patronizing with a bad harsh temper when you actually break those walls down to let it lose. There is a small kind side to him that has developed for Xazi after a near death experience. Xavier has developed into a strong, caring, firm yet fair father yet a loving patient mate to Najila. He is overly protective of them and will not let up unless told he has to. xxx◘ History || Born from the flames of the volcanic mountain, Xavier looks like a blazing fire tribesman only that his heart is made of ice. The male has no understanding why he is cold and emotionless but he is. However wandering within the volcanic territory he claims as his own with a few dens and a hot spring in the middle and a room of lava where he spends most of his time, he encountered a female that liked eerily like him. They came together as siblings, twins but their relationship is rocky and strain. They bicker and can't stand the sight of each other but more than anything he can't stand her cruel words even when he dishes them out himself and out of spite becomes exactly what his sister Xazi accuses him of being. Xavier believes that with his coldness there is no point in having a mate, though he will have one because his author says so.
Yet there has been a shift in his feelings towards his sister when their volcanic den had a violent eruption that nearly claimed their lives but rather pushed them together to work and encourage each other to get out, as well as pushing Xavier to sacrifice his body for his sister. When they finally made it out, Xavier sustained a significant amount of injuries, his lower back hit by sharp rocks where nerves and spine was as well as a broken leg that will leave him limping. The important thing was that Xavi had his sister alive.....and it was going to stay like that.
Since that time he has encounter various individuals in the fire tribe but no one was quite special and perfect like Najila. Their meeting was wonderful. It was playful, hopefully and challenging. Xavier felt his soul complete around her and wanted her for himself. Which he was fortunate, thank you Grand Weaver, where Najila chipped away the ice wall around his heart that allowed love into him. From their love, they created five totems to prayer over. It was in their blessing that all five of them would be given life as their cubs thus giving him his family whom he loved deeply even if he was stern with them. xxx◘ Why does this B'alam suite this position? Xavier suites this position because he is a Phoenix support but he is a strong bodied male, having hidden his limp very well even in a fight. I want to see him in a difficult situation and hope that by him being a prisoner he keeps the attention on him and not his family plus I want him to see what his daughter Bellatora has become a warrior but may fear it a bit because that's one of his cubs endangering themselves. Also he believes in the greater good that the fire tribe can become not with some harsh command that could destroy them. xxx◘ What plots would you like for this B'alam? I want the plot conclusions below for him.
I would like for him to be in a fight with a Dragon soldier especially about their differences but perhaps makes that soldier have doubt?

Asra xxx◘ Personality || Asra has a fighters spirit but she's not one to resort to violence unless it's the VERY last option she has. She's quick witted and sure of herself, no matter what she sets herself to. She's xxx◘ History || Asra was born into a very happy and loving family. Everything was going fine and well until Shen moved into the lands and everything turned upside down. From the beginning she never liked what his ideals stood for and she quickly sided with the Priestess and Iokaste to locate any and all others that shared the same views. xxx◘ Why does this B'alam suite this position? I love family drama. XD That and (if I win the Priestess FC) she's going to be working with the Priestess and my Iokaste to help gather Rebels to support Feng and get caught in the process. Dragon Army General xxx◘ Which of your B'alam is applying for this position? xxx◘ Personality || Kyle is always looking for answers to his many questions in life. Though his intentions are honorable, he normally uses means that others would consider cruel. That said, Kyle doesn't care what others consider or think about him. He loves his fire lands, but has long since become angry with the lack of stable leadership. This makes his nation look weak, and the weak makes him angry. Naturally Kyle is drawn to power. That is why he sees hope in Shen Lung hold of the thrown. xxx◘ History || Since being woven, Kyle had wandered around the lands trying to find himself, a place and purpose in this world. He has encountered very few, such as a wandering blacksmith (Maximus, who created his armor), a light warrior (Siegfried), A strange member of the dark tribe (Chronos) and a crafty wind b'alam (Orion). With each b'alam he meet and after a brief stay in the dark tribe a rage begun to take hold of him. These beings all belonged to a kingdom with a solid foundation, all of them were thriving! Why didn't the weaver bless his tribe? Why was it left to smolder and fade? With a new determination to fix this problem he returned to the fire tribe. Upon his return he found the magus, much to his disgust, had vanished and the tribe was without a leader. When he heard word of Shen Lung, Kyle sot out this promise of a stable nation. xxx◘ Why does this B'alam deserve this position? Kyle knows how to get things done. He is not a slacker in the least and has a great pride for his nation. If rallying a bunch of soldiers against someone who wishes to crumble a a promising leader, threaten their stability as a nation, Kyle will do so with everything he has. xxx◘ What will your B'alam do at the conclusion of the plot? Kyle's golden gaze lowered immediately after he had been inquired after. Each step he had taken to bring him before the one who he would call "Emperor" had rekindled a passionate fire within his chest. This was the man that was going to restore the respect within this tribe.
"My Lord, I offer my life to protect what you desire to establish in this land I wish to be proud of. I have been to many lands beyond the great volcano and will share my wisdom from my travels with any you will me to. And only those -you- will me to, my Lord."
His teeth clenched from behind his law while he thought of those thriving lands. The very thought of the weaver's betrayal caused his heart to burn with the desire to surpass those nations that had not had to struggle as they had. Just to prove that they were a powerful nation.

He wouldn't think twice about showing off the strength of his skull on the body of another if the opportunity ever arose. Even so, there is always a refreshing watery center to any cactus. Deep down there is a desire to live up to his weaver-given name, however, he has found little drive to make that happen. xxx◘ History || Not much has happened in this B'alam's time on earth. He had tried to make a close friend before. One who was woven close to him, however, that b'alam has since gone missing. Virtus spends most of his time alone to think on life, or to practice fighting and sharpening his horns in case he should need to use them... xxx◘ Why does this B'alam suite this position? Though not the best at following orders, he can fight. Having to follow orders or run into someone to help him figure himself out would be a good thing. xxx◘ What plots would you like for this B'alam? I would like him to run into someone who he could befriend. Someone who can help him become more like his namesake and less of a jerk. Something like that. Thyra was ecstatic, the lord of the new order had called upon her. Her the estranged one, the one none sought. "M'lord" Thyra bowed low. She'd seen him only once from afar, lord Shen looked quite impressive indeed. Perhaps he was worthy of her attention, provided. She'd have to see first if not she'd find someone else.
The Nan rose, reveling her eerie eyes light pink with black sclera, her face surrounded by layered skulls and spike patterns. She was quite large for a Nan too toned and muscled. "My Lord," she began again looking solemn "I have traveled many lands in search of a god and have found only silence." she allowed a pause before she renewed her voice "I seek a god will you be one?" she asked him rather cryptically "If so, you have my loyalty; I will hunt down your enemies mercilessly and offer council should you desire it." A wicked smile crossed her face"I promise you I can most certainly get the results you desire." her techniques were one of a kind after all within the fire tribe. Stress, Fear and pain worked wonders on the mind she was almost excited just thinking about it. She'd only gotten to play on simple animals. Wouldn't it be wonderful to practice on another balam. Information gathering would be trival for most, only those few with more stubborn wills may prove challenging.

Her sense of loyalty and honor, her strength, and the fact that she can protect those she cares for selflessly. Currently this bubble is primarily her family and she is motivated to do whatever it takes to ensure they have a good future in store.
Those who commit acts of treason or prove dishonorable will feel the wrath of this nantili in full, as she takes betrayal of any kind very personally. To those serving under her Arcelia will drill home the idea of undying loyalty and trust in the empire. Arcelia took a deep breath in before she regarded the leader. She was nervous but this nervousness would soon fade. For you see she had no true reason to feel this nervous. Nobody had asked her to come here. Her beloved Ozone and their children had not shoved or pressured this task onto her. No, Arcelia was here on her own accord. For her own reasons. She had no need to feel nervous about if she was unworthy in the eyes of the new leader. She was not failing anybody but herself if he felt her unacceptable, which was perfectly fine to the green furred B’alam. For she wouldn’t feel she was failing herself. Instead she would consider it Shen’s loss and not any slip up or mishap on her part. She’d instead see it as he was incapable of viewing the potential she was offering to him. The raw firepower that was Arcelia in combat. With that in mind she felt a surge of confidence glide through her veins. The Nantil lifted her red eyes to meet Shen’s, to prove she had no fear of starring directly at him. She was not glaring at him per say but it was clear she was certain of herself. Certain that if he perhaps decided to engage her in battle right here, right now that she would win.
“I am strong.” She told the Tahtil calmly. “Strong, capable and also I am patient.” Patience was good, patience would allow her to keep a calm head when training young recruits. She took a step forward, closer to the throne the Tahtil sat upon, “I will do as you tell me, leader, but I also have a mind of my own.” She paused for a moment, thinking on whether to continue or not. She’d risk offending him, had possibly already offended him, but her boldness in her statements might have been the key to win him over. “I am not a puppet to be given orders and told where to sit and stand. What I mean to say is I will improvise if need be. The battlefield is a tricky place I've learned to navigate. I am no traitor. I know who I stand behind. I will teach others what it means to be strong, to banish their sense of fear. Or I will be the one to strike fear in the hearts of others, whichever is required. I offer not much truthfully, only my skills and insight should you require them. For I am a warrior. A warrior with the experience and patience to make me an asset in the field. A warrior willing to do whatever I must to reform our fallen nation.”

Solider / Maybe an Intel officer? xxx◘ Which of your B'alam is applying for this position? xxx◘ Personality || Tamu comes off looking two different ways depending on when and who is speaking with him. The first persona he seems to be is his patient, friendly, pleasant to be around mood. He’s kind, supportive and willing to be a listening ear for your troubles. Then with a flip of a coin Tamu can switch to being a monster. One minute you're having a chat about breakfast with him, the next he’s not-so-subtly hinting that if you don’t shut up he might murder you in your sleep. He has hidden malicious side that thoroughly enjoys seeing others in distress. For those who manage to get under his skin he’ll become a lingering problem for them to deal with. Tamu will seem violent merely from having someone he considers annoying underfoot. He might even ‘accidentally’ sabotage simple tasks that a rival must get done in order to extract petty revenge against them. In order to make him stop bothering his enemies Tamu is happy to accept gifts in the form of material goods, or favors. xxx◘ History || Woven to life in the fire tribe, Tamu found his soulmate and they’ve lived happily, enjoying each others company up until the magus vanished. xxx◘ Why does this B'alam suite this position? So long as the emperor doesn't do something to seriously agitate him, Tamu is happy being a perfect little solider. Getting to watch his enemies squirm will bring him a well-hidden sense of joy that he'll secretly revel in.

Then he goes and ruins it by turning around and being nasty to those he decides he doesn't like anymore. Maybe he gets a few warriors on his side and manages to make his enemies day *that* much better by ganging up on them. Alternatively it might be fun if he turns his fangs on the wrong person, and ends up getting his butt whooped. It wouldn't really teach him a lesson, and possibly only aggravate him more, but it would be pretty satisfying to anyone he messed with in the past. xxx◘ What will your B'alam do at the conclusion of the plot? Tamu will probably try to escape whatever bad fate awaits him. He’ll be humiliated with his loss and not wanting to submit to any further embarrassments will try to go on the run. He'll be bitter and resentful and could easily be drawn into any battles with the fire tribe in the future.

She sly and manipulative, easily using her charms to woo information from the masses as she sees fit! She is easily swayed to darker morals - Fire Tribe is the only worthy Tribe! Other Tribes are weak! - and she takes pride in her tribe's "beliefs!" and blindly follows Shen because of it. He's a strong and powerful being worthy of her loyalty. xxx◘ History || "Woven" outside of the city. Arrived within the city the day that Shen took over and claimed himself leader. She was enthralled by his words and easily succumbed to idolizing him. xxx◘ Why does this B'alam deserve this position? The best that I can offer is that her methods are kind of a mix of "Littlefinger" and Lord Varys (the eunuch, both from GoT). She's drawn to power, but doesn't want to be at the top of the chain. She wants to know all the things and bribes others to do most of the dirty work for her. Children hear more than they're intended, so she offers treats to any child who can give her information. xxx◘ What will your B'alam do at the conclusion of the plot? She will likely switch sides. As I said before, she's easily swayed and manipulated. If there's an individual close to her that convinces her that the newer leader is the better, she'll see the light. The B'alam approaches Shen's newly established throne. The towering Tah lifts his head and drops his eyes, regarding the B'alam. "Tell me...why should I consider you? What can you offer to this tribe- and to me...?
Yahui's red orbs blinked up to the powerful Tah. She was silent a moment before a sly smirk fell across her lips and her tail flicked in some slight form of entertainment.
"There are many things I can offer." she started with a bit of a purr. "I hear things. Whispers in the streets. Things that not all of your followers would easily repeat to weed out the weak and spineless."
She sat on her haunches and coiled her tail about her form. Her chest swelled slightly with pride and her own chin lifted. "I don't mind repeating them."
