The season in which he was named was coming to an end. Winter's Cosmic Revenge stared at his reflection in a pool of water that was slowly shrinking under the heat of the spring time sunlight. It was warm on his flank and the stallion shook himself to alertness at the realization that he was daydreaming once again. Going by Cosmic most days the stallion was also feeling the bite of loneliness. It had been quite a while since he had enjoyed the company of a lady and the stallion was debating with himself if he wished to seek out yet another individual that he could shower with affection for a short while. It was just how he liked to roll.
Winter sighed and tore his gaze away from the water. He needed to get started on the next leg on his travels. The sooner he left the area the sooner he could meet some lovely new ladies.

The times; how they had changed. Winter had once been a rather stoic individual until he had experienced the sensation of loss. After losing his best friend at the time he had turned to short, fleeting, interactions with others. He did not wish for the ties of friendship to weigh him down if tragedy struck once more. Now he just preferred living for himself. He would make sure that the interactions he did have where filled with light and laughter before taking off. That way no one really got hurt.
It seemed like the perfect solution. Short interludes would leave no lasting impressions. Fun and frivolity was what Winter brought to everyone he now met. Perhaps it was better this way. The stallion had no idea just how much these fleeting moments affected the other party though. Perhaps he would never find out.
