Patrolling on his own was something that Emrys was still getting used to - and still concerned about whether or not he was actually doing it right in the first place. He felt a terrible sense of apprehension, wandering the park alone this late at night; but Eurydike and Celsus could not always be with him, and he would never learn if he was constantly dragging the along with him.
So the park it was, because if anything else, it was familiar to him. Celsus had told him that it was his preferred place to be, and it made him feel slightly less anxious than the city downtown would have. The trees were warm and lush, everything fragrant with the scents of spring and summer mingling together. There was the scent of rain in the air, but it had rained so much over the last few weeks that this was hardly surprising.
Emrys' boots made soft thumping noises in the grass as he walked, his staff held loosely at his side. He thought, perhaps, there was someone else here too; and then a second later, that thought was confirmed, as a power signature began to grow stronger.
He tensed automatically, but it was not a Chaos signature. The aura was clean and fresh, clearly Order, and Emrys felt some of the stiffness in his shoulders ease a little.
"H..." He swallowed hard. "H-hello?"

The Eternal had opted to stay close to home tonight and venture into the park for her patrol. It was always a hit and miss location. Sometimes she'd find absolutely nothing amongst the darkness of the trees and grass and other times she'd find youma. Running into officers wasn't typically too much of an issues here since the wide openness of the park meant she could easily navigate around a signature she was wary of. Sure, that may not have been the best practice for a patrolling senshi, but Harmonia had been dealing with a lot since the attack in Negaspace.
The warmth of the night was very inviting. The rainy days seemed to have passed them by, finally, and it was obvious that Summer was soon ready to overtake Spring. Harmonia wasn't going to complain. She very much enjoyed the warmer months, especially while out on patrol. Things were just more pleasing when you weren't being battered by snow or cold air.
As she meandered through the park, an energy signature caught her attention. The warm, clean feeling to it registered the owner as someone of order, and she smiled softly. It had been awhile since she'd run into anyone while on patrol. She moved towards the signature and was greeted with a shakey 'hello'.
Stepping around the smattering of trees and bushes that were hiding her, the young senshi waved, her smile still on her face. "Hi!" She approached the squire and slowly noted his rather anxious state. "Um, are you alright? Did something happen?" She questioned him, now worried that maybe he had a run in with someone? After all, she couldn't quite imagine why he'd be anxious around her, but then again, Harmonia could be terribly, but sweetly, naive about things.

He waited, wondering whether he'd made a mistake in calling out; whether the person who was on the other side of the power signature was someone he couldn't trust after all (you could never be sure of anything these days, Hitch had said once; a sentiment echoed by others in the days that had followed).
But the young woman who came around the trees into his line of vision was a pleasant faced, pretty girl with pale colored hair and a smile that matched her aura. Emrys turned slightly to face her, clutching his staff for dear life, and swallowed hard.
"I'm - no, I'm fine," he said, embarrassed that she had thought him in distress. The white wings of her uniform indicated clearly she was Eternal rank, and while he was still learning of what everything in Order meant, he knew at least that much about them.
"I - I'm Emrys," he blurted out, reddening. "I was just - on patrol around here..."
He tailed off somewhat lamely.

"Oh good! I was worried for a moment there." She smiled at him, taking a moment to study his uniform. A squire of Neptune given the symbol. The poor guy looked...nervous? Uncomfortable? Paranoid? Maybe it was mix of all three? The eternal wasn't quite sure, but she immediately took pity on the squire. She didn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable.
"I am Harmonia. It's nice meeting you. I was actually on patrol here as well. Are you interested in having a partner tonight? I promise I am not at all pushy and am easy-going. Actually, I'd be happy to just chat if that's what you want to do as well." The smile on her face never faltered as she balanced on her toes before falling back onto her heels in a rhythmic pattern. She had an abundance of energy tonight and really, running into Emrys was probably the best thing to help focus her.
"You don't have to say yes if you don't want the company. I just thought it would be nice to have company for the night."

She seemed friendly enough, her demeanor relaxed and open. But Emrys was nothing if not anxious, in spite of his attempts at easing himself; it would take a while, Celsus had said, for him to get used to being a Squire and himself again.
"N-nice to meet you, Harmonia," Emrys stammered, swallowing hard, but some of the tension had eased, even just a little. He tried to unclench his fingers from his staff, to at least give the impression he wasn't entirely a scaredy cat who didn't know what he was doing.
She was cheerful and friendly. Emrys hesitated only for a few seconds, but Celsus and Eurydike would have encouraged him.
"S-sure," he said, "I don't mind. Um."
He took a cautious step towards her. "If you don't mind, you could, um...tell me a bit about yourself."
Ignoring the flush to his cheeks, he added hastily, "I'm - I'm a little new to the Order, I don't...know very many people."

It was obvious by the slightly hesitations and stuttering of words that Emrys was not entirely comfortable despite introductions. So, the senshi tried to calm her own excited energy and focus herself on the new companion in front of her. She wasn’t quite sure what to do to ease his anxious state besides just be as cheerful and upbeat as possible. If he had been someone she had known better she would have swooped him into an embrace, a hug to try and calm worries. But, since she didn’t know him well, and worried it might make him even more nervous, or worse, run from her, she held back.
“Oh, I don’t mind! Hm, I am 15, well, I’ll be sixteen soon. I awoke when I was 14 and I just upgraded to Eternal so my new powers are certainly something I am getting use to. Hmm…” She paused for a moment to think before grinning. “I enjoy meeting new people and making friends! And helping out where I can.”
“Oh you’re new?” That was intriguing and really could only mean one thing. She didn’t much care though. In fact, she was even more excited to know that someone had managed to find themselves out of the clutches of the negaverse. “Well, you can now add me to your list of people you now know.”
Clasping her hands behind her back, Harmonia tilted back onto her heels once more. “I am assuming, being new and also a squire that you purified?” She questioned with and open expression. It certainly all made sense as to why he seemed a bit anxious and unsure of himself. There were times she still felt that way, but it happened more than she was powered down than up. “I...sort of understand what you must be going through. I mean, not to the extent you’ve dealt with but…” She sighed letting her feet land solidly on the ground again. “Memory loss isn’t fun to deal with, especially when it’s courtesy of a corruption or purification.”
kuropeco Sorry this took so long. I had some things happen that destroyed my want to tag things. BUT, I am getting back on track so please feel free to pester me if I take long again! crying

She was a lot younger than he was, which surprised him; Emrys hadn't known that there were senshi as young as fifteen, had not even been aware that they awoke even earlier, as she had indicated. He glanced sideways at her youthful, open face, her bright enthusiasm, and wondered if she had always been this way.
"Fifteen is, um - you're the youngest I've met, I think," said Emrys tentatively, hoping it didn't sound negative. "But you're already an - an Eternal, that's very, erm, impressive. My - my fiance, he's a Super himself, and I'm - clearly a Squire," he added, flushing a little. "But I'm still learning."
The red across his cheeks deepened slightly. "I, erm, yes," said Emrys. "I've only been in - in Order for a few months now, and it's still taking some getting used to. But I've found it - it rather pleasurable, there have been some...very nice people that have...made it easier."
Harmonia's accurate guess made him flustered, but Celsus and Eurydike had both told him on more than one occasion that it was nothing to be ashamed of - even if Emrys thought otherwise. "Y..yes," he said softly, shifting his hands on his staff. Harmonia's open, encouraging expression made it easier; there was no judgement there, no dislike or anything negative at all. "I was...in the Negaverse, though I don't remember any of it."
He glanced sideways at her. "W - were you purified then?"

Harmonia grinned. "I am not even the youngest. There are some kid senshi as well. I am sure you'll run into one of them at some point. They're really adorable but..." She sighed. "I don't really think they should be out here fighting but there's nothing we can do to really stop them." She shrugged. "It's as much their war as anyone's I guess." It was...a rather adult thing for the 15 year old to say but she had learned quiet a few things since becoming a senshi.
Eris's flustered state made her instantly feel bad for bringing it up. Maybe she shouldn't have said anything? Her intentions hadn't been to make him feel uncomfortable. "It's alright. I don't care if you were part of the negaverse or not. You're with us now and that's all the matters." She offered him a smile, hoping that maybe that would ease his obviously uncomfortable feelings.
His question to her though made her pause for a moment before answering. "Um, yes? Sorry, it's a bit complicated I guess. I...I don't know if you were a part of the attack on the negaverse but I was forcibly corrupted. Or was on the way to being corrupted. Sorry I don't remember it at all and have been going off of what I've been told. Laurelite attempted to corrupt me but didn't have time to fully finish the corruption and somehow Princess Ganymede was able to push the chaos out before I fully corrupted. It resulted in some...memory loss though."
Shifting her weight from one foot to the other, it was obvious she was a bit uncomfortable rehashing the event. Still, it did help to talk to someone about it, even though she didn't much like the topic. "It's no where near what you've experience I am sure but if mine is only a fraction of what I've had to deal with well...I am sorry. It's definitely not easy."
