Keeping in touch with Sarcel Cincil was pleasant and enjoyable. After a few letters back and forth since the royal gala, Elidae wanted to get a little bit of training in with her, if only to both become stronger and more prepared but also to get to know the blueblood better. Sarcel liked being in shape, so what better way to become better acquainted than to enjoy their hobbies with them? Well. Elidae wasn't really the work out type, but she could try.
"Wwwow!" The yellowblood said breathlessly, amazed upon entering the hivestem's exquisite interior. Of course, this was how those of a higher caste lived, so she really shouldn't have been surprised by the fancy innings. Still, she found herself astonished. Her own hivestem at least held itself together with modesty and an acceptable amount of gas leaks and infestation, and her hive ran extremely small. It was only natural in her part of the city and her caste.
Approaching the right floor, Elidae hopped off the elevator and searched for the blueblood's address. She wandered the floor aimlessly, somewhat confused with how the hives were set up, before finally finding what she thought to be the blueblood's apartment number. After immediately pressing the bell, twice for good measure, the yellowblood waited patiently while bubbling with excitement, rocking back on her heels with a bright smile. With her hair tied up and her scissors on her hip, she was ready to go. Melancholies sorry for such a late tag!! ; A ;

Sarcel had been waiting.
Well, legitimately. There had only been a small handful of times that Sarcel had company over, so it was still a little nerve wracking in concept and application. Her hive was exquisite. There wasn't a speck of dust anywhere, everything was neatly arranged. Hell, it almost looked like no one even lived there; just a suite crafted with love and luxury. She looked out the windows, fingers thrumming against her thigh.
It was a nice place. Better than her old one by a long shot.
So when the bell rang, Sarcel was sure to be at the door in an instant. She was glowing, healthy, ready as she greeted Elidae. Sure, they had corresponded before this, but that didn't mean she wasn't excited (or nervous, maybe just nervous).
"Elidae, hi." she offered a small smile, eyes drawn to those scissors on her hip. Sarcel was probably going to rough it with her bare fists, if only because using her gun in a hive setting was... far from orderly.
"Here uh, c'mon in. I just finished clearing space." as if it was hardly necessary. For a hivestem, it was very accommodating.
Around the corner, Chinchillamom poked her snout out, snuffling at the new smells in her dwelling. She eyed Elidae with a vague intent, her glassy eyes offering no real answers to her motives. "Did you make it over okay?" Sarcel asked again over her shoulder as she led the yellowblood inside. "'Cause I'm not taking any less than your best." she never did with these kinds of things. blackbird cake no shhhhhh ilu LOOK I TAGGED
