Another muggy night, with cloud cover threatening rain. A pity. Even if the tree cover crowded out a sky view, Luxara liked to know that there were stars up above she could check out during breaks between work. There was always plenty of that, and she could use something to look forward to. But maybe it would be nice to have some weather. Rain could only feel cool on her skin compared to the constant humidity.
She'd have to get this ladder done before then, though. The greenblood was on her knees, tying ropes together to complete a rather basic ladder for one of the hives. Sturdy, flexible, fine enough in bad weather, and can easily be retracted if a troll didn't want anyone getting to their hive. Luxara liked the concept. She was also down for trying new things with her calloused hands. Sometimes it was nice, sitting and doing stuff, and taking a break from hunting at the same time. Variety and spices and such.
She sat up straighter, cracked her back, and stretched her arms up. The ladder lay next to her, still only halfway done.
