Tom had called him earlier to arrange for a training session, he'd secretly been waiting for a call from the other, and he'd been happy to tell him where to meet him and give hi ma time that the other could make. Alexandre had told him to meet him in the warehouse district, as many were closed and no one would disturb them. If anyone, senshi or knight, came he'd sense them a good distance out and he'd deal with it. He would not permit a training session to be interrupted by one of the white moons lackeys.
it was late, but not too late where it may affect the others attendance with school or work, if he worked, or anything else. He wouldn't ruin his life yet, or infringe upon other things. That would all come later, it had with him, for tonight he would go easy on him. He'd brought water bottles, food, a first aid kit, and other things they may wind up needing, he would be prepared for whatever may happen or be needed by either of them.
Now it was just a waiting game for the other to turn up as he paced around the warehouse he'd picked out, he'd given the other a number. His own aura strong, like a beacon, as he walked around with his heels clicking and his coat and cape fluttering behind him and whipping around whenever he turned. "Soon." He whispered into the empty warehouse. SSBrosB Sorry on slowness, finally got it though.

Tom walked to the location that Alexandre had told him to meet at. After battling a senshi, a squire, and an embarrassing battle to another negaverse lieutenant, he figured he needed some emergency training and knew that if he went to one of the… harsher generals, that it would be less training and more beating.
So he had called Alexandre up and the man was happy to oblige. Luckily it wasn’t too hard to get to the location, though Tom was surprised that there was such a large warehouse district in the city. He could only imagine the illegal things being done here.
Tom had brought a change of clothes, just in case the ones he was currently wearing were ruined somehow. He had gone into his powered form when he had gotten closer to the district as he figured it might help him find the general and indeed it did. He had gotten instructions for the specific warehouse, but they were all pretty similar to each other and so he decided to find it in an easier way.
He found the door unlocked and opened it, spotting the general inside and giving a slight wave to him as he walked in. “Hey Alex.” He said in greeting, walking closer towards the man. “Thanks for doing this, I needed it. I’ve been in a few… fights where I really noticed how lacking I was in my fighting skills.” He noticed all that the other had brought and smiled. Well, at least his general knew hot to take care of those who were under him.Sleet Tempest Snape All right, sorry about the wait. Had to take a break for a couple of days.

Turning he nodded his head toward the other, raising a gloved hand to wave at him. Listening to the other as he approached he nodded his head. "For safety reasons, when someone is powered up use their powered name. Guardian cats like Katya can cancel a persons aura. I won't be able to feel someone if they are protected by a cat. Katya can do the same for either of us as well." He said smiling fondly up at the other as he spoke of the cat he had, who was back home reading.
"I see...did you get any names? Powers or weapons? Or markings?" He questioned wanting to know who had fought, and beaten on, his lieutenant. If he were to come across them he would return the favor and then some, he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty - he rather enjoyed it in fact. "Of course, training isn't a bad thing, we all need it at some point. We'll go slow and work our way up. I won't pull my weapon yet, it'd be too much for you. I've had years of time using it, it's like an extension of my own arms." As it should be at this point in the game for himself. "You'll get like that once you've spent enough time using your weapons as well." His captains weapon had been...very awkward due to just what it was and it's size - it had been rather unbalanced.
"You don't need to thank me - this is my duty. As a General I take care of those I bring in...I train them, inform them - teach them. It's what I sign up for the moment I bring someone in and I am more than willing to help." He said smiling at the other even more. "Now, why don't you start us off and take a swing for me. I'm going to dodge and not hit back. I want to see if you can hit me and how you fight." He'd go from there and work on helping the other. He'd make him in to a fighter, he'd make him hell for any senshi or knight who came across him, at least he wanted to.

Tom had a slightly embarrassed look on his face, mostly because he felt he should have known better than to call Alex by his negaverse name while powered up, but he knew that the other was only telling him what to do rather than admonishing Tom for it. He nodded his head in understanding. “All right Benitoite. Unless you want me to call you General Benitoite here too.”
Tom walked the rest of the way up to the man before he spoke, trying to remember whom he had fought. “Well… one was a squire who seemed to have some sort of cowboy theme going on. The other was the senshi who really didn’t seem to like fighting and used light to distract you. I could describe what they looked like but they didn’t tell me their names.” He hadn’t told them his either, that would have been silly, and he doubted they cared about a little lieutenant like him. “And then of course was that negaverse tournament fight against Lieutenant Sarabauite.” He cringed thinking about that one. Two lieutenants who weren’t good at fighting had ended up in a pushing match.
“I haven’t even used my own weapon yet and from what I’ve seen that the other lieutenants have as weapons, I doubt mine would be effective at all so I just haven’t taken the time to use it against anyone.” He probably should have but the inefficiency of the weapon always held him back. He wondered even why the lieutenants started out with things which would mostly be considered junk. He knew the weapons evolved the higher your rank was, but it was hard to train with something like bookmarks or paper or keys, though the with the last one you might be able to stab someone with it.
He moved his feet apart a bit. “Well, thanks anyway. I really need this and I know it can be hard finding the time with our schedules to be able to do this.” And then he readied himself to take a swing at the man. He wasn’t sure exactly how to start it out to make it effective, so he tried his best to keep his arm level with his shoulder as he swung his fist towards the man, not worried that he would somehow miraculously hit the general.

"No, only around others or in a professional environment. Several other officers call me Beni, in private." He offered up to the other, he wouldn't mind the other calling him that shortened name. It would, he hoped, let the other feel more comfortable with him and help in bonding - being able to work together. he liked being close, friendly, with his officers.
"The knight will stand out - I'll find him. The senshi...used a distraction. Good, hopefully they have no dangerous magic. What did they look like?" He asked, wanting to add the information to his notebook filled with information. He also wanted to add to the well of information the Negaverse had as a collective, they could add in the new information for everyone to see and learn from.
"Lieutenant weapons are never very good, some are just better than others. I started out with a paint brush - there isn't much I can do with it. I could do somethings but not enough. The only thing I can think is that weapons, for Lieutenants, are so...useless is in order to force an officer to train in other ways and learn to fight - so you don't rely only on your weapon." And it did work, he was sure of it. How many didn't use their basic weapon? Or rarely ever did?
"It's fine. I would move about my schedule no matter what in order to help. Teaching and keeping you and the others under me is one of the highest priority things for me." Keeping his family safe and Aiden safe were just a bit higher - or a lot. But there was, of course, reason for that which he was sure most would understand.
Ducking the fist which came at him Benitoite took a step back then. Watching the other he was curious to see what he'd do. "Focus on what weaknesses I have, what you see, and what you can use against me. Look for what strengths I have." He was small, likely had a lower center of balance so balance would be easier to maintain. But he was shorted and petite in build. Force, pure force, and a taller frame could also be used against him. There were things to keep in mind, though where were always exceptions to keep in mind and outside factors such as rank in this case.

Tom moved back into what he thought was a good battle-ready position and nodded his head. “All right, Beni it is then. And the distraction senshi? Can’t really say much about him unfortunately. Long hair a bit past the shoulders, blonde, a bit with some purple, pink, or orange at the tips of his hair.” He felt bad that he couldn’t remember the senshi that well, but then again he had been so distracted that it was hard to remember the guy’s face.
“That’s understandable. Start out learning the basics of fighting and then going along and learning to fight with an actual weapon.” He still sort of wondered why they even got them though since it seemed that the final product rarely resembled it’s first stage. Well, he was here to learn how to fight in general anyway, not with his weapon. He had used it a couple of times, but more for small strikes than anything. It was better than a bookmark or a pair of child’s scissors at least.
“Well, thank you all the same. I’m just glad I’m finally getting some formal training. It was hard out there in those fights without it. Barely knew what I was doing and I don’t believe I learned much, maybe just pain is no fun for me at least.” He was sure some relished in it but he didn’t, especially when he was trying to become a doctor, to stop people’s pain.
Arseno nodded in reply to what the general had told him and looked at his “opponent” for the evening. He might have some strength over the man, but he was sure to be beaten by someone who was a general. He could perhaps do okay against a small senshi or page though. “Well… I would probably be stronger if we were the same rank, but I honestly would have no idea how to go about attacking you.” It was true. He had mostly guessed in his other encounters and they had… not ended well.

Well, that wasn't one he knew. The hair description though was unique and something he'd keep in his mind, till he got home and wrote it down. "Interesting hair...that will stand out." He said aloud, for the other to hear. "If you want, I suggest you do as I do. Anyone you encounter...write down key features as well as what their magic does if they use it. Keeping notes for future reference, and for others, is a good idea. Pooling together information will help us all survive this war better." Watching the other slip into something of a fighting stance he nodded his head for the other to begin when ready.
One of his own legs, his left, slipped back so he could balance himself. His weight shifted as he found his balance and he waited. "Yes, if you have no base then what you build will crumple. I'd rather keep my officers alive as long as possible. I want them to learn properly and learn from the ground up." And if he needed to he knew another General who was good at fighting, someone else he could possibly ask for assistance in training his officers.
"Pain is never fun, you experiencing it gives you the drive to avoid it - to fight harder and make sure your opponent doesn't have the chance to cause you pain." Shrugging his shoulders a bit, tilting his head and smiling at the other. "You also need to learn to not fear it. This is a war...you can try to avoid it but you won't always be able to...in some cases it is unavoidable and something which you must endure in order to survive." Being kidnapped was what he was referring to but didn't say, something he didn't give life to. He wasn't going to let the other think on that - it would affect this session. He wouldn't put such thoughts into the others head right now.
"Ahh, and that is where you take the time - if possible to size up an opponent. For me...I'm smaller, I have less reach so I need to be close in if I'm using my hands and feet. My balance is good, because I'm not lanky, but I don't weight a lot either. You can keep me at a distance and make it hard for me to get a hit in. You can also try and put your weight and size to good use against me as well as height. Take advantage of what you have over someone." Shifting a bit, rolling his shoulders, he watched the other.
"I like to teleport in a battle, not to avoid attacks, but to get into someones space, to go for their back, to find weak spots and have them moving around and unsure where I will turn up next. It's a weapon as much as it is a defensive tool. Use what you have - what the other doesn't have. Wait for weak moments to use those advantages. Teaching someone who wanted to help people, to heal them, how to hurt them...how was this going to go...? He hoped it went well, the other could be an asset to them. He just hoped he could make them a good officer, that they didn't leave and change sides. He didn't need another one of his to change sides. SSBrosB Sorry for the wait. So sorry.

”I’ll try to remember that next time I encounter one.” Though he wasn’t sure how he would write it down. Perhaps he could keep some pen and paper in his uniform that would stay in there when he powered down.
Arseno nodded at the other’s words though he was still a bit nervous. He knew this was just training but he really had no idea what he was doing. Though he knew he would have to make it through various stressful situations in life, especially if he wanted to become a doctor.
Arseno was sure that he was getting good advice from Benitoite, but that didn’t mean he still knew what to do, even if he could size up his opponent. Hopefully though Benitoite would be showing him more during the training rather than telling, or else he might have to get some extra help from someone else about the basics of being able to fight.
“I believe I understand, though I can’t really teleport at this point and my weapon is really to weak to do anything.” He was afraid to use it sometimes, not because of it being ineffective, but it seemed like a cane could easily break if he hit someone the wrong way. “So… should I try to attack you again then?” At this point he was just waiting for more instruction on what to do.Sleet Tempest Snape All right, sorry for taking so long to get to this. "Indeed, your weapon is mostly weak but it can, I assure you, be helpful in some cases. I started out with a paintbrush. I learned to try and stab people with the end of it. Even if it serves to distract a person, or bring some small discomfort, it can help in a fight. But, I digress, that is not what we will be working with tonight." He said with a smile flashed up at the other.
"Tonight we will be working with hands and feet. I want to see how well you can do in that manner. A weapon can be knocked away from a person easily enough, and sometimes it's simply impracticable to use a weapon." His own was good for long range. If forced to fight in close he could not use his weapon, he needed distance. Sure a weapon could be summoned as well but that also wasn't always the best thing to do, focusing on the weapon to bring it back could take attention away from something more important.
"Now, I want you to try and over balance me, throw my balance and bring me down. I will try and resist but I want you to dop what you need to in order to get me down. Sweep my legs, kick a knee, do whatever you have to. Bringing a person down brings them lower than you and can, in many cases, give an advantage in a fight. It will, in some cases, open you up to certain attacks but I don't believe there is ever a point where a persons defense can be perfect." He said, watching the other calmly.
"I want you to take advantage of what strengths you have over me." If they were the same rank anyway. The other was taller, bulkier, but he was still a General and thus stronger. But if they were equal...the other would have him in many ways. Though he too had his strengths such as his speed and balance. But he would teach this one - somehow.
"Attack me however you want, just keep in mind I want to be on the ground. However you do it, remember this is a war and fairness is not a thing the enemy knows. I don't want fair play here either."

Arseno sighed and relaxed himself a bit. Sure, he probably shouldn’t if he was in the middle of a fight, but he would almost rather have the general attack him rather than be the one attacking. For one thing even if he did try to knock Benitoite off balance, it might be hard to do so. Sure he could try a leg sweep. Benitoite did look fairly small, but if he tried that he could be hitting a leg that was solid muscle and not very easy to move, even if Arseno’s legs were stronger than his arms.
He knew what was holding him back although he hated to say it out loud. But he would have to if he wanted to get anywhere in their training sessions. “I know I shouldn’t be worried about this but…” He moved up out of the fighting stance a bit to say this, not wanting to be in such a serious pose as he admitted to this problem.
He crossed his arms, trying to ready himself. “I know you won’t laugh at me for this but it’s still embarrassing for me to say… I just don’t want to feel silly fighting you, you know? I know that this is a training session and that there isn’t going to be any judgment here, but I’m going to feel silly if I try to do a move on you that barely does anything. Sort of like when a character in a TV show just continually throws punches at someone and all they do is yawn through it. I could make judgments on what to do but it’s going through and doing it that’s… well I think it’s holding me back.”
There, he said it, his cheeks were red for proof of his admission. He hardly ever got embarrassed and otherwise wouldn’t have about fighting since he usually wasn’t known for it. But since this was such an important part of being a negaverse agent well… it didn’t look too good, even if the other party already knew that he was a bad fighter.Sleet Tempest Snape Not even going to make any excuses this time XP

Ahh, so that's why the other wasn't keen on this. Understanding showing in his pale eyes the blond moved. Approaching the other he reached up to lay a hand on his shoulder. "I'm stronger, yes, but I'm still human and still have the same weak spots. If taken off guard I will still fall. Do not worry if a hit does not do as much as you want it to. I want you to learn and gain in confidence. I don't want to have any officer of mine go into a battle ill prepared and come out hurt...or worse." He cared for those under him, he wanted them as well trained and as safe as he could make them. He would coddle as much as needed, give confidence and assurances as much as needed. He would have well trained officers in the end, he would see to it.
"It's just us here anyway. I won't say anything or judge. We all start out somewhere and grow from there. So you are right in knowing I won't laugh." Taking his hand back he smiled up at the other then.
"Just go for the spots you know are weak on a person, I'm still vulnerable to them - same as anyone else. I won't hit back because that is more where my strength lies. If I hit you it would hurt far more now than if I were a civilian. If you hit me in a weak spot...it's still a weak spot and will result in the same thing." Though his legs were well worked, hell all of him was from time running and at the gym, but everyone had vulnerable spots to take advantage of. SSBrosB It's ok. Also, Beni is going to give you confidence and help you Arseno! He will keep you safe and guide you, like the mother hen he is.

Arseno gave Benitoite a small smile. “Thanks. Guess I just needed a reminder. And it’s good to know that you’re human at least having some weaknesses.” He replied He was feeling a bit more cofident now. So even if he did miss or mess up then Beni would be able to point him in the right direction. “All right I guess we can start again”, he said, trying to make the best ‘correct’ “ready to fight” pose as he could. Positioning one foot in front of the other, he wasn’t sure he was in a correct pose. Perhaps he would have to go and look at some boxing or fighting videos on youtube later.
“I’m ready to try again, and this time I’ll try and aim for a weak spot.” He wasn’t sure what spot as of right now, but it was most likely going to be the legs. Though he knew if he didn’t do it correctly an actual opponent could use the opportunity to counterattack.

"It's not a problem. I think some people forget that, they look at the rank or the time put in. They forget we, just like the other side, are still human." And thus the same weaknesses. It still placed some of the same limitations on the body. "That's why I pointed out the size difference between us, it's one of the biggest vulnerabilities I have but also a big asset to me." He was smaller and could be struck from above by someone easily or where and how force could be applied and press him down. It also meant, as he didn't have longer arms or legs, he could be kept at a distance and striking would be harder. On the plus side though he had a good sense of balance and could move easier and get in close if left an opening. He had learned these things, many from experience.
"I'm glad you're ready." Smiling he nodded his head before stepping backward to resume his own simple standing there pose, he wasn't aiming to defend but to be as open as possible. He'd work on Arseno's confidence as they worked on his training, he'd build him up. "After this dinner if you want - on me? Or perhaps the next evening you're free." He added in with a bright smile. He wanted to be close to his agents - his team and build them up and keep them close, both to himself and to each other.
"I'm ready when you are."

Arseno tried to keep Beni’s words in mind as he tried to think of a way to hit the general. He almost didn’t hear the other, as he was too busy thinking of how to start. He almost wanted to rush the other but thought better of it. The question finally reached his brain and he blinked in surprise before being able to say “Sure, that sounds good.”
He was probably thinking about this too hard. After all, he had been in quite a few fights already and had done… okay. He internally sighed as he steadied himself. He decided to go with a leg sweep, but how to start it? He would have to get close enough and also not trip on his coat. That would be embarrassing.
He decided and tried to rush at Beni and then follow it up with a leg sweep. He doubted it would work. The general was probably a bit better at steadying himself, but might as well try right? He managed to get somewhat close to the general and cleared his coat, but whether it would connect was another story.

"Good." Smiling as the other answered him. He'd wait till this was over before asking the other what he would like for dinner, since he was the one offering it would be what the other liked. He'd send a text, once this was over, letting Aiden know he was treating a colleague to a late night dinner. He didn't want Aiden to wonder where he was or worry, he tried to keep that to a minimum. In general he tried to keep this part of his life from effecting his civilian life, especially his relationship.
A bit lost in his own thoughts he almost missed it. he missed the rush but he didn't miss the sweep. he could have dodged, could have teleported. But instead he let the other take his legs out from under him. He went down with a thud, as well as some sound that was rather hard to identify. Staring up at the other he smiled. "Now, in a normal fight. You want to follow this up. If you don't you leave yourself open to them attacking in return and pulling you in close to them - that's not good. Once you have someone on the ground you want to either distance yourself...or, and I think the better option, follow through." As he remained on the ground, spread out from the landing, he was still teaching.
"The idea of a fight is to make it as short, and painless to you, as possible. Take advantage of openings in order to put a target out of commission sooner so things don't drag out. The longer a fight takes the most chances for them to injure you." He didn't want to sound bad for what he was saying, taking advantage of someone who was down and taking people out of commission. But it was the truth and it was what needed to be done.
"If you ever feel unsure...remember they will easily do it to you. I've had broken ribs, stabbed with glass, and other injures from them. They are as ruthless, if not more so at times, than us." Remember, they took in children. He wouldn't mention that senshi had tortured people, while conveniently leaving out that the Negaverse had done the same. Nope, wasn't going to mention that here and now. That was a card to keep up his sleeve until it was needed, if it was ever needed.
