WELCOME TO ROUND TWO!
Aurostibite and Xenotime have congratulated you upon making it to round two of the tournament! The rules this round are the same as the last!
OOC RULES:
- You have 72 hours to complete the battle! If you are unable to do so, or something happens that prevents things or slows you down, you can just roll the dice without adding in RP to determine the outcome. However, please do your best to RP out the battle, this option is only for those situations where it becomes necessary to do so.
- Dice rolling is mandatory! I know it can be frustrating but this keeps everything fair and even.
- Anyone is free to pop into a battle RP, they are open to spectators, whether you are participating in the tournament or not! Any Negaverse agent or Corrupt or Corrupt Cat is free to view the battles, regardless of whether or not they were in signups.
- If you have any questions, please contact either Beejoux or kuropeco privately through AIM or PM!
THE MECHANICS
Each person roll 1d20 in their first post! The person with the higher number is the first to attack!
Lieutenant / Basics - 20 HP / 1d8-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) Captain / Super - 30 HP / 1d10-2 attack (a 0 is a miss) General / Eternal - 40 HP / 1d12-2 attack (a 0 is a miss)
( how it works: roll the dice - if you get a 4, subtract 2 = your attack is 2! and so on and so forth. If you get a 6, subtract 2 = your attack is 4! )
Roll dice -> RP out attack -> wait for opponent to attack back -> roll dice again until someone's HP is depleted first!
The person with HP remaining after someone gets to 0 is the winner!

After a break and a energy orb crushed between her teeth, the corrupted senshi was feeling much better. She'd worried, at the end of the first round, that she would have trouble in the second. Bruises and a broken knuckle, but also fatigue. She'd gone all out against the first lieutenant. No doubt she would go all out against his one as well. Another she didn't know. Ceraskia stood at the edge of the ring with small hands poised on slender hips. Dark eyes taking in the agent across from her. Tall, nearly as tall as Chalcopyrite, but she didn't seem worried by the more than apparent difference in their sizes. Training accounted for something, and the corrupted was under the guidance of one of the best. "Do not let my size dissuade you from fighting earnestly. I assure you, I will not make this easy on you."

Domeykite had found himself alone between the matches - it was fine, he preferred it that way on most occasions, but he'd wished he'd prepared a little better. He wanted coffee - or a cigarette. Maybe both. He was alone, still, as the small woman made her way into the ring across from him and stood so proudly with her hands at her hips. He could tell even from a distance, despite her presence, that she was an afterthought compared to his size. Still, he knew better than to doubt her. She was the thing that he had to face every night in the street and without knowing her name, or her face, or whatever s**t they usually spouted right as they leaped into battle on their white ponies, he had no idea what to expect from her. "Oh, don't you worry," the smile on his lips was small and cold, but present as he turned his head slightly to the side, letting him assess her from a new angle. Ballet shoes, puffy feathers. Swans? Would she peck his eyes out? He wanted to groan at how little he knew about his own comrades sometimes. Would Laby know her? "I promise I'll hit you just as hard as the last guy." The knuckles of his left hand still stung where he'd broken skin against Prehnite's jaw. Somehow this battle felt more serious, for all that the other man had seemed more likely to hurt him.

Lieutenant Domeykite HP: 20 Attack: 4The dark haired man began a leisurely walk to close the distance between them, appearing as non-threatening as he could while he got closer to combat range so casually. To be honest, he wasn't sure how to approach this - he needed to bait her magic out so he could see what it was and know what he was meant to be afraid of. But he also needed to make sure she didn't catch him with a full blow, if it was something truly dangerous. If she was here, something had given her the edge, right? In a moment, his stance shifted, and he was bolting in her direction. It looked like he was aiming to tackle her until his right hand produced his weapon - a heavy megaphone that matched a headset suddenly strapped over his ears. He caught the handle of his megaphone and whipped it in her direction just as he got within range of her, using it like a tomahawk. He watched as it spun away from him, hoping it hit her right in her pretty face. Even if it didn't, he was right behind it, clearly intent on knocking her off her feet if the toss didn't make her falter first.

He might have been going for harmless as he started crossing the ring towards her, but the corrupt wasn't fooled. She knew what they were both their for, and it was only a matter of time before that leisurely stroll turned into a frontal assault. She had to be on guard, ready for him, and when he fell into a sudden sprint the petite dancer shifted on her feet into something defensive. Of course, she'd been expecting a more direct attack, not to have something large and heavy flung at her from only a few feet away. The megaphone was barely registered before the thing was two close to dodge, and the senshi felt it collide painfully with one side of her face, knocking her off balance and into an unsteady tumble. Vicious, right out the gate. He was going to be more of a challenge than Chalcopyrite. There was blood at her nose, she felt it there before a dab of the back of her hand confirmed it. Jade eyes lingered on that dark smear for half a second before snapping up to the tall lieutenant. Clearly he had taken her request to heart. Good. It was her turn, though, to retaliate, and where he had used a weapon, she had only her small body. Darting forward, she watched him, reading the way he moved, to slip past any reaching arms so she could get around behind him. From there it was a matter of slamming the heel of one delicate foot into the back of his knees, driving him down to her level so she could deliver the sharp point of her elbow to the back of his head. General Ascendant Alkaid - (Spectating)
There was a soft, muted thud of heels as a figure moved slowly into the outskirts of the battle ring. It was seldom that the tall, broken doll found herself outside of her home world but there was some part of her that simply couldn't take Castor's presence any longer. He knew her too well, too much.
There was solace in being among her kind, where no one expected her to be interested in anything more than herself and her goals. It was true enough, as her feet had brought her to Ceraskia's match.
She was smaller than her opponent - who seemed crafty, if a bit sloppy - but she could see the determination written clearly into the way she held herself both in and out of battle. It made her wonder who she belonged to, for she belonged to someone, indeed, if such a petite and graceful figure knew how to make herself look dangerous. The General found herself hoping that she was, too.
Even as the megaphone collided, undodged. If Alkaid was disappointed, her face didn't show it. It was still blank and curious.

Lieutenant Domeykite HP: 14 Attack: 1Domeykite knew his rush had been a mistake the moment he lost sight of her. She was gone but for a flutter of hair in his peripheral vision and he felt his knees connect with the ground beneath him, jarring hard and making his teeth clash together. He was still reeling when something hard and ruthless smashed into the back of his head, sending it rocking at an angle that made pain spike up from his neck just as it blossomed inside of his skull. His vision went dark and hazy. Inwardly, he wondered if that was going to be another concussion. There was no sound he could make or words to put to his lips. Instead, he simply swung out blindly, trying to hook an arm around her knees and drag her down to his level. It was a hard game considering he couldn't even see straight.

That blind swing managed to clip her in the shin, which hurt, but it was ignorable. She kept moving, aiming to skirt out of arms reach, but not before attempting to disorient him further by giving his head a shove to one side, while she side stepped in the opposite direction. HP: 15 DMG: 1

Lieutenant Domeykite HP: 13 Attack: 1The man's head rocked, but not with the same force, and he felt the corner of his lips pull to a smirk. What a brat. Domey leaned up so that he could rock back onto his heels, finding her to be nothing but a dark blur while his vision swam. He could just make out the outline of her body if he didn't look directly at her while she circled away. Confident that she was trying to round behind him once again, he pushed himself unsteadily to his feet and swung an arm out - it might not hurt overly much, but if he could hit her, he knew where she was.

He got her in the side, but if he expected her to hold still for in, he'd be sorely mistaken. She let the force of the hit move her, pushing her out beyond the reach of his fingertips. His vision is blurred. I should take advantage of this while I can. There was no telling how long this disorientation would last though, and it made her hesitant, a little slower than she would have liked. The dancer side stepped, watching his face carefully, watching his eyes, and that made the jab she aimed for his right bicep a little weaker than she had intended. HP: 14 DMG: 2

Lieutenant Domeykite HP: 11 Attack: x A small grimace erased whatever smirk was left on his lips as her fist connected. His arm recoiled and he spun to her direction, as if he might reach out to grab her - only to wince at the sudden motion. She had definitely agitated the head trauma. His body stilled again and his head turned, listening for any sound of her feet or movement in the corners of his eyes. It was hard to want to keep fighting when his head was spinning and throbbing but he knew the rules here. No giving up, it's how they were culled.

He didn't look too hot. The dizziness should have faded by now. She'd hit him hard, but not that hard. However, they weren't finished just yet. The best they they could do, the kindest thing, would be to end this match quickly. And probably avoid further sharp blows to the head. Despite realizing that it was likely unneeded, the corrupted moved in cautiously, reading the way his body moved, if he reacted to her closer proximity. When she was within range, the ballerina turned in a quick spin, one long leg coming up in an elegant arc to lay the flat of her foot against the man's chest. Either to knock him down or to wind him. Either would provide further openings to exploit. HP: 14 DMG: 6

Lieutenant Domeykite HP: 5 Attack: x The blow to his chest he had been entirely unprepared for. Not because he didn't see her but because, ultimately, it hadn't been something he would have expected from so small a figure. The shock hit him as hard as the blow and he stumbled, winded, and felt himself falling. Ignorant of whatever she was doing, he put all of his effort into getting some part of his body that was not his head to cushion his fall. Both arms went behind him, crashing hard and painful into the packed floor beneath him, but his head only swam and pulsed from the jarring - thankfully not another impact.

He went down without much trouble, and yet again the small senshi was left wondering if this was still a fair fight. Well, obviously it wasn't, but was it still within the parameters for the tournament?
Frowning, she looked towards the stands, trying to catch the eye of one of the two generals that were in charge, or her own, and found the ascended corrupt instead.
HP: 14 DMG: mercy, or cruelty? You decide.

Lieutenant Domeykite HP: 5 Attack: 3 Fighting to catch his breath, Domeykite found himself alone behind malfunctioning senses. Would she accidentally kill him without realizing he was hurt beyond this match? There should have been a fear of that, in him. Instead, as he sat fighting for air and trying not to empty his stomach all at once, he realized death would have been a sweet delivery from his chains. He would have laughed at himself if he'd had the breath to do it. It wasn't a death wish, just a peace in the knowing - he just wasn't afraid of it anymore. Once his breathing calmed, he could focus enough to distinguish her in the haze of his eyes. His chin tilted up toward (what he hoped was) her face and the smirk pulled taught across his lips. He had been waiting for the final blow, but she had stopped. "What was that about fighting earnestly, pipsqueak?" The words were ragged and strained, but he punctuated them with a hard kick at her ankles. General Ascendant Alkaid - (Spectating) The lanky one might've been crafty out of the gate, but the petite corrupt was calculated. Alkaid saw the change of the man's behavior and the way he moved his head at the very moment that Ceraskia did - and she was pleased to see the way the ballerina used it to her advantage. Both arms rose and crossed over her chest, maintaining her calm even when she saw the man felled in one great swoop. When she saw the figure turn her face up, Alkaid met her gaze with a smile. Was she seeking guidance? The Ascendant could have laughed, but instead she simply tilted her head, a neutral answer if the corrupt still sought one. This was Ceraskia's battle, not hers.
