Derya shook off whatever water he had still on his fur and quickly climbed up the incline to get away from the surging waters that he had been rescued from mere moments ago. He didn't bother to see if the other two wolves were following him. If they knew better they would do so without complaint. He was, afterall, an Alpha and he knew what he was talking about when he told them that it wasn't a good idea for them to stay near the river. He at least hoped the female would follow him. She seemed like the typ who would listen to the orders of an Alpha whether or not that Alpha was from her pack. Sighing softly to himself, he made it to the top of the incline and looked back to see if the others had followed him.

Shifts his head through the water and dives back down when he had been noticed, though resurfaces again shortly after with a tired yawn. First his eyes settled on the female which shouted him to get out of the water, something about it being dangerous which all he could do was snort to that flicking his fin through the water enough to splash the other male that was now moved to protect her for whatever reason. Rolls his joints before resuming to lazily swim there, as another showed up that mentioned something but he had gone underwater again to avoid. Tiredly floats back up before slowly beaching himself.. first time he ever came inland for anything.. as far back as his memory would recall. Looking around to see if there were any other water ways that he could take instead as he slowly lifted himself out of the water digging his back claws into the land mass.

Missing a front limb was a thing to note, finally pulling himself out of the water dragging his tail behind himself came the crackling of bones as he shook out his back ones to remove debris from it. Tiredly looks around not enjoying being out of the water, scanning with glowing golden eyes and cranes his head to look back at the water.

The fae glanced back at Alte when Derya paused and seemed to brighten, casting another glance at Gajeel. "Won't you join us, too? If we're all going to the same place, may as well." Her eyes drifted back to Alte and she looked over his frame curiously, eyes lingering on what would normally be a hindrance for land wolves. It clearly hadn't bothered him much in the water, but...

Was he wearing bonebeads? A shaman? Another look brought to light that back leg, stripped of... Anything useful, really. She had to catch her jaw as it draped, and shook her head. She pondered it a moment, wondering if the next offer would get her bit. She decided she'd make it, anyways. "You don't... Look terribly accustomed to land travel, I guess. Do you need a paw at all?"

Derya waited for what seemed like an eternity for the other male to follow them. After a few minutes it looked like the other male wasn't going to follow him since Derya spotted that he laid down next to the water. He turned his attention to Splatter before motioning with his head to her. "Come on," he told Splatter. "It looks like he doesn't want to come with us." Shaking his head, he started to slowly, very slowly, walk deeper into the dry land area. "We need to figure out if we are going to follow that other Alpha and rejoin others of our kind or if we split off on our own and do our own thing."

Derya wanted to do that but he wasn't sure what the female wanted to do. What Derya knew was that he wanted to protect the female and wherever she went he would go.

Lowers his head and dips it into the water catching something, pulls back from the water and shakes his head from stray water drops. Regardless to wanting to follow them or not something said he should least go that way, maybe he would find waterways to make the traveling easier on him. Crunches the living wiggling life out of what he caught before unstably pushing himself up and turns to hobble after the other two flopping his tail over his back to not have to drag is around. Pausing every so often to eat from his kill, he would need all the energy he could get to keep at pace but also at distance with the others. Shakes his head with a snort, laps the blood up off his nose while still on the look out for waterways to make his traveling easier.

Splatter nodded at Alte, Numbers were comforting, and, old as Alte seemed to be, he didn't look like he'd take s**t from anyone. That was good, meant he'd be able to hold himself better if a fight broke out. Splatter hoped that, somehow, he'd find his place, when things got into the works.

She was curious, too, where she might fit in. As she glanced around at the 'pack' the group had formed, she couldn't help noticing it was more comfortable than being alone. Responsibilities like hunting would be easier, which would mean more time for splattering everyone with berr-er... games. Right, games.

Which meant more time to play with pups... And more pups. She glanced back at Alte and wondered if he'd ever had any, and what fishwolf babies looked like.

Gajeel drifted from edge to edge trying to find a comfortable position. Eventually he sidled up to Derya, not being aggressive but not backing down, he was an alpha he should start acting like one. This was going to be a long, long journey with many wolves to meet and he would have to conserve his dignity for the long run.

He wanted to speak to the other wolf, but really didn't have much of anything important to say so he kept his mouth shut and lost himself in the rythym of his steps.

Splatter let her glance travel between alpha-fishwolf and the one closer to her own status, while she paused her mind to think about it. "But... Aren't you from the water?" She murmured, up at Derya.

She paused and glanced back at Alte, noting the pause in his step any time she had, and ignored it. "How is it we have one fish wolf that can't seem to wait to get back to the water and one that's completely afraid of it? I know the water's fast and all, but..." She trotted up to Derya and raised her muzzle to his fin, letting her breath graze it but trying to be respectful enough not to touch without permission. "You're kind of built for it, aren't you?"
