Welp, that was a fun ordeal. Not SIU, dealing with the lady at the counter. She didn't try to find a good place, just the first one she came across. Turns out it was a 3 star hotel that had some... issues with the horn that she had on her head.
Not that they were actually voiced mind. Just you're trying to communicate to someone by filling out a piece of paper meanwhile you try to separate their thoughts from the droned voice because they were 5 hours and 33 minutes into their shift and yet they couldn't spare her a lunch break yet because her manager was an a*****e and someone was a no show.
But with a half hour at the counter with your dead wife's pet hiding in your shadow hoping that she didn't worry about the one sided conversation you were having with the over worked and slightly worried clerk and you got your usual two key cards and a place with two beds.
Once inside the room, she could only breath a sigh of relief. Shutting and locking the door behind her. Telekinetically pulling the chair and shoving it against it because a little extra protection might be warranted.
"Give Mara the call," She spoke up to Zira, taking a deep sigh as she summoned her own Diary. A nice clean book she was ready to break into it, "Its probably better for you to talk since I can't exactly use phones,"

Zira rose up out of Syth's shadow and took out a cell phone and dialed the number she was given. She waited for Mara to pick up the phone.
"Hello. We are ready." she stated bluntly, waiting for further instruction.

Mara jumped as the phone rang her eyes narrowing at it as she leaned back and picked it up before it could ring again, snapping it open and leaning back with familiarity. Only instead of a softer male voice it was an equally soft female voice."So far nothing has changed. So if you're ready and you know where to go. Go for it. Unless you think you need help?"

Syth gave a thumbs up, finishing up her journal. Thinking to herself that she should've ordered food first for them. They might've liked that after getting 'trained' by Asriel.

Zira nodded at Syth in confirmation then directed her attention back to the phone. "I don't." she answered shortly then hung up the phone without another word. She closed her eyes and melded back into the shadows beneath her and was gone.
20 Minutes Later
Shadows began to pool up on the floor, growing bigger and bigger as Zira and Melody rose from the shadows, Leukos held by the collar of his shirt, slumped on the floor in Zira's hand. As they all came out from the shadows, Zira lurched forward to a kneel, breathing heavily in exhaustion. She let Leukos lay on the floor as she quietly moved to the bed and laid down, not saying anything at all.
Melody stood there watching Zira move, then glancing down at Leukos before making eye contact with Syth. Her own red and purple eyes still firmly gazing at her as she froze up for some reason. Her face soften slightly, trying to piece things together. "...syth?.." she whispered, the vague memories of a girl she knew, feeling like such a distant memory of almost a lifetime of experiences. This person was important. Very important. Even if she couldn't remember much, that fact was absolutely certain.

Again she was alone. Yep, sitting her waiting for what would seem like a small eternity. Pondering to herself if this was a giant setup to lure her away from SIU. You know, if that had been the case she'd have to give it to Zira for keeping her thoughts under check for that long. Ontop for Mara to not reveal it.
Either way though, she laid her back against the bed, counting the minutes as she glanced at the clock. She'd turn on the TV but honestly she never cared for the programs that'd pop up on it.
And yet, twenty minutes after Zira left shadows would begin to pool up on the ground. Her mind racing as reflexes kicked in. [Summon] Summoning three swords, hovering in mid air each aimed at the pool. Yet from the pool it was Zira, Leukos, and Melody. The swords couldn't have disappeared faster.
She let Zira take over the bed, figuring she deserved the break. Picking up Leukos and hauling up and over towards the only other spare bed. One part of the plan was done. Well, two thirds of the first part would be more accurate. Hexxis was missing, but Kae was there for that situation.
Yet, as she laid Leukos down, she heard her name. Melody had spoken it, her body freezing up. She should'n't have known her name. Honestly now that she thought about it Melody should be freaking out about being kidnapped this way. Yet she looked back at her, locking gazes as her mind began to dig into Melody's. Hazy thoughts of a time before this girl should've been around. Vague images of a younger Syth.
"Alice?" She couldn't help but respond back, looking at the young girl as if she had just grown a second head. Kae had told her Alice was in there, but nothing really prepared you for the reality that your dead wife is stuck in a child's body, "Alice! Why are you in that child's body!?"

Kreimhilde stood there completely still, her heart racing so fast as she tried to make sense of the person that stood before her. There was no doubt she knew this person and they were very important.
Alice?
Her thoughts were going to fast, so many memories that only flickered by then disappeared again. Her head was starting to hurt. This was getting to be a bit much for her. Her eyes drifted to the necklace Syth was wearing, a few memories were starting to stick. A Halloween dance and asking her to wear the necklace to keep her safe. The images burned into her mind like a hot knife as she had this odd feeling she had done this all before.
'Kreim, are you okay? What's wrong?!'
The yelling, and the questions, it was too much. Her head was pounding and she grasped at her head, squatting down to fold into herself, "I don't know! I-... I don't know!!! she shouted, closing her eyes tight. Too many memories and racing thoughts that were simply just overwhelming her. She desperately tried to hold into any solid facts of this person. Syth. Syth Broken. Love. A deep feeling of love. She started crying and just took a slow shaky breath.
Her breathing almost completely changed suddenly as she unfolded slowly to look at Syth with fear and concern in her blue and red eyes. "What did you do to Kreimhilde?" she asked in a frail voice that seemed much more appropriate for her body. Tears were billowing up in her eyes as she could already feel her body shaking. Where was she and where was Kae or... "Where's Mara!" she suddenly as she broke down crying. Coming to a stand and wiping her face through sobs like a lost child waiting to be found.

Oh god Alice was gone again. That flash of memories she had just experienced was enough to give her a minor headache. Ugh, she'd need some coffee.
"Her name is Alice," She responded back at Melody, treating her like an adult while she tried to collect her owns thoughts. What in the hell were they going to do?
Oh god she was crying.
"Mara's at her work right now. Uhm..." Oh god taking care of a child again, "We can get some sleep before we go back home..." She trailed off, seeing the collar on her neck. That couldn't be good.

"...She said her name was Kreimhilde.."
'..no... she's right... I.. I remember that's my name.. my real name...'
Melody sniffled and wiped her tears as she nodded to Syth's explanation. "..she... she says she remembers that's her name..." she spoke out loud. "..kr-...alice... can we calm down now.. are you okay?"
It was silent for a bit, then she spoke very softly, a twinge of sadness in her voice in her mind. '...I'm okay... No, I'm okay. I don't want to keep running from this. It hurts when it's a lot all at once, but I feel like I did this before. I want to remember. I want to remember so badly, I need to know who I am.. who I was... what happened to me.'
"Maybe you should keep trying to talk to her... Or I could talk to her... Maybe help you get memories back." Melody thought for a moment before shifting her eyes to the ground. "So... if you're Alice... then I'm... your niece.." she pieced together from what Lucian had told her about Leukos.
'...niece... I don't know. I don't remember having a niece... I.. I remember having someone I loved more than anything... and I think .. Syth is that person. The person in front of you.'
"....you love her?..." she blinked, then frowned, "...family.." she whispered to herself, tears building up in her eyes again as she sniffled again. She took a deep breath, remembering when she helped Mara with her memories. "K-... uhm.. Alice.. think of the alphabet and think of things from what you remember that start with each letter. That helped Mara.. maybe it will help you too. Let's work together..."
"Adamantine. Broken. Children. Darkness. Elven. Food. Guilt. Halloween. Isolation. Jealousy. K. Love. Moira. Notebook. Obscure. Pendant.Quarrel. Regret. Silver. Thirteenth. Unworthy. Vial. War. Xenolith. Yelling. Zephyr."
Slowly her blue eye turned back to purple, pausing between each word as she slowly remembered more and more. As she finished, she stared at Syth and took another shaky breath. "... I'm... I'm calm... I ..... Syth,... I think I died..." she spoke with a twinge of pain in her voice as tears were billowing up in her eyes again.

She remained silent as Melody began to have an internal conversation. Thankfully through telepathy she was able to listen in on both sides, whether or not Kreimhilde Alice had intended on it. Kreimhilde god of all the awful names to choose from.
"Don't worry, I'm still listening in," She responded, when Melody spoke up about working to help Alice get her memories back, "Whether she gets them back or not is up to her."
Of course, being reminded that this girl was her Niece. Wait, how? She'd probably figure out later... not it was pretty obvious. Rasiel's Kid.
Jeez. Did he know his sister was trapped in there? Probably not.
She wasn't going to tell him yet anyway. At least, whenever she managed to find him.
Yet, after the last words Melody had spoken, she couldn't help but sigh. Her hand reaching up to her head as she thumb curled up around her horn, "No s**t you died," She cursed out, "Running off into a crowd of angry people. Nevermind that our kids ran off prior to that. Lucian, Moira, and Silas," She reminded her of the names. Taking a chance to sit down on the edge of the bed, staring at the shackles Melody had on. Dark gunmetal, no apparent method to take them off. She wasn't going to touch them anyway, in case they had a security protocol with an unauthorized user.
Trapped here until Zira and Leukos woke up. Melody was perhaps close to useless when it came to fighting, she was when she was a kid. Leukos could probably muster up some force but right now he was dead weight and so was Zira. That'd eat away at her Telekinetic prowess and probably drain her so god forbid one of those armored guys showed up that Asriel had thought about.
"No use murmuring about the past until we have a solution to it. For now we're kind of stuck here." She let out a small sigh, picking up a menu and passing it off to Melody, "Pick out some food and order it. I don't know what Leukos likes, and I don't know if Zira eats actual food. Alice might know that,"
Get food, wait for Zira and Leukos to recover. Figure out how to remove the collar devices. Get to the Sanctuary.
Simple enough. Leukos would be moved into his own board room. Melody...
...
Maybe she could try to be a better parent than last round? Dammit Rasiel.
"Who are your parents?"

Alice frowned as Syth responded, falling into a sit, looking defeated. "I don't know why... but..... but I'm sure I had a good reason!" she retorted, pain in her eyes. She took a deep breath and her eyes drifted to the floor. She heard their kids names and mentally clung to the them as best she could. She was already thinking about investing in a notebook to write everything down so she'd never forget again.
Stuck here. Heh, nice one, she was always stuck. So nothing new. She looked up at Syth as she was handed a menu. "Melody... what do you and Leukos like to eat?"
'I don't know... something simple is fine. Leukos and I can share a burger or something... is.... is he okay?"
Her eyes slid over to Leukos as she leaned to get a better view of him. "He seems okay, just asleep." she then looked to Zira. "Zira normally didn't eat, but I don't know with that new body... I doubt it though... I think she's robotic or something." she sighed and closed her eyes with a slight smile, choosing to just rest for now and try to regain more memories on her own as she relinquished control back to Melody.
Who are your parents?
Melody opened her eyes slowly into a frown, pain in her red and blue eyes as she looked to the ground. "I don't know... I'm sure that one of them is Rasiel the Killer...." she sighed, running her fingers over the marking on her face then thought a bit, "My other parent is either Andy... or Zaku... or ... I don't know... I grew up without parents. I was abandoned as an egg and raised with Leukos by Professor Rhun at Spectrum Research Facility." she explained as she pushed herself to a stand and moved over to the bed where Leukos was and stood next to him. He was bigger now, different, but she was sure this was him. "Leukos is the only family I have.... besides Mara... she took me in.. made me feel wanted. She cares about me, unlike Rasiel, or Rhun, or Andy, or Zaku..." she looked over to Syth and frowned. "If we can't go back to SIU, then where... are we going?"

It was a little amusing that Deskri wasn't one of the names. They had a thing going for awhile.
"You never know," She could only respond, looking at Melody, "People have their own thoughts and feelings. Their own history and troubles that can seem unimaginable. Perhaps, you weren't abandoned but stolen?" She posed the question, though realizing she was talking to a child she had to quickly fix the point.
"Its rhetorical, I don't actually know. For now we're going to sit and wait here. SIU isn't an option anymore, those collars are evidence of that. There's a Sanctuary, an old academy I went to when I was a child that's around and would be perfect for you and Leukos, but we need to take care of one thing first."
The collars had to go, then they could go. Mara knew where they would be headed and she felt safe knowing that at least. But she needed Zira to contact her and get a hold of the collars. Then they'd have to make the journey to the sanctuary.
Aaaah, damn these half baked plans.
"But I promise you its safe, now order something."
Or at least as safe as being with other Metas can be. Teenagers with superhuman powers... Yep, totally safe.

She thought for a moment then looked to Syth. "Lucian... Knows who my parent are.... He said both my fathers would be proud of me... So that narrows it down, I guess." she frowned.
"Sanctuary? No... No no no, don't take us back there.. Neither of us want to go back to sanctuary!" she exclaimed quickly. "Rhun is there, Leukos doesn't like him.. And that scary guy with the stuff on his face... And then there's Delilah.. She hurt us.. And then the lady with the horns that said she'd kill me because I'm Rasiel's daughter...... I... Please don't take us back.." she begged. She was holding back tears as she spoke, her full attention on Syth. "Anywhere but there..."

Syth was perplexed by the way Melody spoke up about Sanctuary. It could've just been her mistaking the things adults did.
Well, I mean you can't mistake when someone says they're going to kill you.
"Well then, I don't know where else to go. I've intended on heading back there and living as quiet a life as I could,"
She really didn't want to offer to be their mother again.
"But, if you need someone to protect you, I'm more than happy you. Do you have someone very important to me inside you,"

Melody shook her head, "We want to stay with Mara... Leukos and I." she confessed with a frown, looking back to Leukos as she sighed. "Maybe Mara will know where we can go instead. Just... anywhere but there..."
She looked back over to Syth, a feeling of warmth.. but that wasn't her emotions. She nodded. "There are other places. There has to be!" she looked worried as she drifted her eyes to the floor. "....important..." she should feel endeared, but all she felt was jealousy and sadness. "..I... I can fight. I was training with Tri and he said I was pretty good!....." she sighed, falling silent.
