It wasn't as if the general didn't feel the knight approaching, she just didn't care. No moves were made to hide herself from the pale haired woman that appeared around the corner. Nor did she attempt to hide the body that lay propped against the wall at her feet. At this distance, it was hard to say if the person was alive or not, but they certainly weren't moving.

She withdrew her hand from the pouch at her hip as the knight asked over her name, and violet brows arched in obvious curiosity. Turning, she'd lay hands on her hips, head tipping gently to one side as she looked the other woman over. Cosmos, more than likely, and transcended to boot. Not familiar, however. No one she'd met in the past, as far as she could remember. Even having faced off with a rather large number of order soldiers, Xe was fairly confident that she remembered them all, at least in some sense.

So how did she knew her?

Smile ticking at the corner of her lips, the general chuckled before answering. "Depends on why you're asking." Was her reputation preceding her?

This news seemed to genuinely please the general. "Is that so? What sort of things have you heard?" It was said in the tone of someone asking over achievements, rather than nefarious misdeeds, but Zenotime had always loved the prospect of notoriety. If her actions were traveling through the gossip chain of the order soldiers, then that was indeed pleasing to the woman, who wanted so keenly to stand out among the rabble. See me.

Nudging the leg of the probe figure at her feet, the general stepped gingerly around them, closer to the knight. "And who might you be, to be tracking down this general?" Because that was still a mystery to the fighter. It was always good to know who had you on their mind.

There was genuine shock on the woman's features for about a split second before she had her expression schooled back into mild amusement. Dark lips formed a small, silent 'wow', and she chuckled, mirthless abs cold. That was quite the accusation, and as awful as the general could be, oddly, she wasn't guilty of a single thing the knight had listed. Plenty of other things, of course, but not these specific offenses.

"You know," she started conversationally, taking a few more steps forward, so far not appearing terribly threatening. "I'd really like to know the source of these rumors. They're very disappointing."

A hand came up, the tip of a finger tapping against her lips thoughtfully as she regarded the cosmos knight. "I'll tell you what." The finger extended out, pointing towards the other woman, and Xenotime grinned. "You tell me who's spreading this s**t around, and maybe I won't kill you." It seemed pretty fair to her, though likely the blonde wouldn't see it that way.

Xenotime snorted incredulously. "Then you're mother clearly didn't value honesty." It really didn't sound as if the general was taking the knight's tone or intent all that seriously. It hadn't been the first time someone had come seeking her out to attempt to extract some form of revenge for something she'd done to one of their little friends. It wasn't about to be the last, either. Xenotime had no intentions of ceasing in her attempts to eliminate or conform those that called order home.

In anything, really, Xe just sounded a little bored but ll the bravado. "How about dismemberment and the slow death or corruption of those you find dear?" This was offered as a retort as the knight's staff was dismissed, and they reached instead for their signet ring. Light spread from that point, enveloping the other woman, and a single violet brow rose in curiosity before the challenge had silver eyes snapping back up.

She'd just done something, and Xenotime wasn't sure what. There wasn't much in the database on signet rings possessing powers. Perhaps now would offer a good chance to fix that.

Lips pursed, the general sank back into an easy crouch, and as he arms lifted, she'd summon her weapon to them, silver wrapping her from knuckles to shoulders.

On th eone hand, she could have tried waiting, letting the magic run it's course, but there was no guarantee there was a limit in this case, and even if there was, she'd learn nothing from it. So she moved swiftly, closing in on the knight with a small fist raised, and when she was in range, she'd swing, aiming to bury the pointed spikes on her knuckles into the knight's stubborn face.

The knight making absolutely no move to avoid the initial punch was surprising, to say the least. Her reputation was out there, clearly, and even if it had been exaggerated upon, she still packed one hell of a punch--even as a civilian, her job sort of demanded it--and to take the hit straight on...well, that just made no sense. Knights were stronger than senshi, but still!

Of course, wanting her closer so she could make a grab from Xenotime's arm wasn't the worst segway, but she had to imagine the blondes ears were ringing at this point. As much as the general's skin was burning. A bearable pain, but only just. It set the fighter's teeth on edge, a low growl bubbling up in her throat as she pulled on her arm, snarling up at the knight. "You assume you'll be able to stop me."

The world turned rather abruptly, and xenotime had a fraction of a second to realize what was happening, and to brace for it. Hyperborea flipped her around, throwing her down at the concrete, and the general let herself go limp, letting her body take the force, and protecting her head and neck as best she can. It wasn't anything he hadn't trained for, at length, and she knew how to move through the shock of it, to not let herself be a sitting duck.

Coughing to bring air back into her lungs, Xenotime kicked out with booted feet, aiming her heels at the other woman's hip and the side of her knee.
