He was eager enough to sign up for this whole thing, mostly to see who else showed, but also because Xenotime was one of the Generals hosting it. The woman seemed like she knew how to have fun.

"So, let's get this started..." What better way to decide who went first then a good old game of rock, paper, scissors.

General Aurostibite (spectating)


He had seen Domeykite only once or twice since that night where he and Xenotime had gone to fetch him - in an excursion that, Aurostibite had to admit, had not gone well at all. He'd seen him after, in the Rift, and he had seemed more level headed then, or perhaps it was just the situation, but either way, Aurostibite found himself watching the fight with mingled curiosity and interest. Prehnite was also somewhat familiar, though Aurostibite thought he had seen him around once or twice, nothing further than that.

He stood, arms folded, and watched quietly, expression calm.

Lieutenant Domeykite

"Agreed."

The word was spoken with a smirk at the corner of his lips, pulling his smile lopsided but overall making him seem just a little less grumpy and a little more like he actually wanted to be involved with this. It was funny how a simple thing made him more playful (right before they were expected to get violent, no doubt).

With both hands poised, he counted it out, until at last the results were in - rock beats scissors. Domey dropped both hands as he took a few steps back, pulling up his fists between them defensively as he did.

"Alright, give me your best shot.."

There was only a brief glance spared for the General lurking just outside the parameter of their battle space - what did Auro want here? Did he have some investment in the other guy? The calmer general might not have set him on edge quite so much as Xenotime had, but it didn't make him feel any better about being suddenly under observance.

Trying not to think about it, he turned back to his opponent and gave him a small nod of approval. He didn't have time to think about all these damn Generals.

Laughing as he came out with the winning hand, tossing Domeykite a wink "If were talking shots - loser buys, I like Caipirinha's."

Then he was moving, stepping in close and aiming a kick low towards the other mans legs.

A quick glance to the sidelines left him surprised that they had an audience to perform for! Somehow that made it better than just the pair of them sparring in the middle of an empty arena. They had people to entertain now..

He didn't care whether or not they came out impressing the generals, after all he knew that he could absolutely use pointers on a great deal of things. It was more important to him that they managed to have a little bit of fun with this..even if he had to coax it out of his slightly grumpy looking partner.

His smirk at landing anything faded quickly when the others fist connected. A solid blow or not, it was enough to make him twist away and back up. "Ow...you know I'm going to need that later right?" He wouldn't do well to underestimate his opponent this early into it. He wasn't even sure what the man had for a weapon. Maybe it was better to go at Domeykite from a more defensive position.

"Especially for when you have to buy me all those drinks." Quickly putting two more paces between himself and Domey; grin and body loose as he gave the man a 'come on'.

Lieutenant Reinerite (spectating)

Whilst many of the earlier matches appeared to have wrapped up, this particular match seemed to be still in the beginning stages.

Well truth be told, it was hard to tell how long the match had been progressing for given that it appeared to be in full flow by the time that Reinerite carefully settled herself into one of the seats towards the back of the seats that had been set up for spectators, a part of her mindful off the bruises that she had picked up from her own bout in the ring earlier.

Both of the Lieutenants in the ring appeared to be relatively fresh however, hence her guess that this match was in the beginning rather than the later stages.

She had spotted both her General - Aurostibite - as the other General that had been involved in organising all the matches observing as she tiredly trained her grey eyes on the pair in the ring.

Because whilst she was no longer in the matches herself, it wasn't like she could just go home either - well at least not under her own steam and so Reinerite figured that she may as well sit and watch the other matches taking place and see if she could at least do her best to try to glean fighting styles.

Too slow, he thought to himself as he saw Prehnite step out of his path. He'd heard him, muffled, through the noise cancelling headset that had just spawned. There was a blunt connection on his shoulder that made him wince, but it wasn't enough to make him pause. Labyrinthite had made him fight through worse - he'd demanded he make a turn around from worse.

Spurred on by his memories of the General's disappointment, he put his weight into a sharp turn, digging in his heels and losing some of his momentum as a sacrifice for staying in range. As he turned back around to face Prehnite, he swung with his megaphone gripped in hand, the blunt end aimed at making a connection in the hollow of the lieutenant's shoulder.
