Welcome to the Rider-Waite Jobland Fair, a place where jobs DO grow on jobbies, which are job-trees. Okay, not quite, but you know what I mean. Hosted inside the historic Blackfriars Library, the Fair is a once-yearly occurrence where local businesses attempt to poach the best and brightest while big names get drowned under a tide of hopeful full-time employees. It's open to all, but there are more resources available to Rider-Waite and Ashdown School District students. Some booths have food, some booths have drinks, and the study carrels behind the information desk have been temporarily cleared off to host a small wine bar (adults only). However, among the teeming hordes of attendees, one guest at the Fair holds a deadly secret. It's up to the attendees to discover that secret (and the guest holding it) before something terrible happens... _________________________x. you are here _________________________1. blackfriars map _________________________2. fast route rules _________________________3. slow route rules _________________________4. solo route rules

fast route rulesThe fast route is the route tasked with actually physically finding the mystery attendee! Because of this, they may traverse Blackfriars at will and speak to as many NPCs as they feel are necessary. However, the fast route characters must reach a majority before making any decision, and they may not split up.
Fast route players must post quickly: there will be two to three GM guide posts per day. Generally, these will start around 3pm PST, with a little wiggle room because shibe is an employed type of dude. If you miss a round of GM posts, your character's absence will be glossed over or they will be moved off to the sidelines.
There will be fighting on this route! The mystery attendee will not go easily.
If you want to use a power, please quote shibrogane to let him know!
Post your decisions at the bottom of your post in bold type.

slow route rulesThe slow route is the route tasked with containing the situation, I.E. triage and fact-finding! They may not leave the first floor of Blackfriars; however, they will be able to speak to those on the outside of the library building proper, enabling them to gather more information on the situation and from different perspectives.
Slow route players must post once a day. There will be a GM post once every 24 hours. If you miss a round of GM posts, your character's absence will be glossed over or they will be moved off to the sidelines.
There will be a puzzle on this route!

solo route rulesThe solo route is not a route as such; it is a supplemental prompt-based solo chain, guided by the GMs! Should you complete every single prompt by the end of the event, you will be entered for a chance to win a custom warg character or a rare subtype of were. As such, meta players can't enter.
Those wishing to pursue the solo route must create a prompt thread in this forum of the guild where they will respond to all of the prompts. Prompts will be posted once every few days, and must be responded to in order. The prompts must be answered before the end of the event, which will be announced three days before the end to give you time to wrap up.

My character has a clairvoyant-type power that could theoretically let them get helpful information they wouldn't otherwise be able to know IC! Can I use it to get a hint on the puzzle that's going to happen in the Slow thread by quoting the mule?

For our solo prompt threads, are we restricted to using one character or can we alternate between characters? For example, character A for prompt 1, character B fir prompt 2 and so forth if the prompts are more applicable to one character rather than another.
Also, for the were/warg character win - should we win, can that win be applied to a quest character not present in this event?

MoonRazor Slow thread = at least once per day, and more is acceptable yes? Yes! <3 cibarium My character has a clairvoyant-type power that could theoretically let them get helpful information they wouldn't otherwise be able to know IC! Can I use it to get a hint on the puzzle that's going to happen in the Slow thread by quoting the mule? Yes! You may do this as many times as you like, however it will get incrementally less useful as you use it c: The Semblance of Unity For our solo prompt threads, are we restricted to using one character or can we alternate between characters? For example, character A for prompt 1, character B fir prompt 2 and so forth if the prompts are more applicable to one character rather than another. Also, for the were/warg character win - should we win, can that win be applied to a quest character not present in this event? If you're entering with the intent to win a warg/were, I'd prefer it if you used just one character! However, I'm not going to stop you or eat you alive if you use multiple characters. Wargs can be applied to quest characters not present, however the were upgrade will only be applied to characters who complete the entire solo route ~

okay so just to get this straight... upon a were or player stumbling upon one another, 5 damage is dealt right off the bat to whoever was 'surprised'. From there it's normal combat?
Shibe answer: yes that's how it goes
