An unearthly wail shattered the peace of a bright March morning.

"CROUT! Get Mara out of the house! We have company coming over!"

"Would you rather she was inside, where we could at least keep her trouble under control, or outside, tripping them as they come up the driveway, or puncturing holes in the tires?!"

Infi paused for a moment, running a frazzled hand through hair that had gone green due to a horrible accident involving a mushroom, and too much booze. "Crout, you stop her caterwauling, or you'll be outside with her." she threatened. There was the sound of a vase shattering, and a 'meoooooooowwwwwww.......' and then silence. She heard a trunk slam, a key turn, and Crout came downstairs, wiping his hands on his jeans.

"I locked her in the old trunk upstairs." he said with a satisfied smile. "It's almost soundproof, and if we're lucky, airproof too."

Micah rolled his eyes from where he sat on the couch. "You've tried it before." he said, his voice bland. "What, is the trunk suddenly so splintered from her claws that she'll choke to death on cedar?"

Naira let out a small sob. "Poor Kitty!" the angel, unfortunately, had a soft spot for all animals, not just the cute and fuzzy kind. That included the very, VERY large dewis and their everkittens.

Kael was in the garage, playing with his scooter. The kiddlet had an obsession for things electronic, mechanical, and old. He already had convinced Infi to purchase him several old T-birds, and a '72 mustang. Nakshidil had gone with him, to talk about something that required the utmost privacy.

15 minutes before the guests were due, Laertes rushed in the door. "I got late off work." he said and bared his teeth at everyone in an approximation of a smile, and hurried up the stairs to get ready. "Raissen IS coming with them, right?" he asked, eagerly.

Infi shrugged. "I have no idea, brat. Now all of you!" she yelled, and within moments there were 2 kiddlets, 3 preteens, and a teenager staring at her. "Dian and family is coming over for DINNER. Nakshidil?"

"I have plenty of fresh vegetables, some small steaks, potatoes, and fresh bread. And there is a small salad with chopped chicken breast for others." she said firmly. "And I'll be wearing the blue kimono."

Kael saluted. "I cleaned up the dining room. Those scratches Mara left are gone, and the vase pieces are all cleaned up. And I'm wearing the black slacks and a blue button-up."

Micah merely stared at Infi. "I live with him part time. I refuse to dress up." he said simply, resuming his position on the couch. Laertes was by this point bouncing on the stairs.

"Oh go away you." Infi said with a wave. "Get all sexy for your crush." Laertes flushed.

"I do NOT have a crush." he denied, and vanished.

With everything else confirmed, all the inhabitants of Infi's house could do was sit around and hope everything went well.

Chegrin
The Chegrin family was on time, for once. Raissen had taken the day off of work, and spent most of it getting ready for dinner. Having taken a shower, scrubbing himself nearly pink, he only resumed his normal color at lunch time. Hair impeccably groomed and flared up in the back, black eyeliner drawing attention to night blue eyes behind thin black armani glasses, and dark glossy lipstick, he was resembling his teen years more than ever.

He wore his trademark tiny shorts with two brass bells for buttons on the fly, and dark tights. His old steel toed boots miraculously still fit, and sliding into them, Raissen wondered why he ever let them sit in the closet for months. He slipped into a dark red velvet shirt that screamed to be touched, looping black laces criss crossed across his chest. Pulling a dark blazer on over it brought the entire get up together with a touch of class.

Dian opted for more conservative wear, with a black fleece sweater, slacks and wingtips. He too wore glasses, and pulled back his normally freehanging orange hair into a small fluffy ponytail.

Kituzke was a mirror replica of Dian with more fur, though he wore a sleek black evening gound, with tattered edges that fanned just around him on the floor when he stood still.

Braeden wore his normal clothes, as they were the only thing that fit the bone thin soul.

Dian didn't even bother with A'Hallei. Even thinking of that boy brought creepy doom feelings to him. He wanted this dinner to go well, and A'Hallei was too volitile to risk it.

Together they climbed into a black Jetta, and drove to Infi's house.

"You know what's funny?" Dian asked as he steered the sleek vehicle.
"What's funny?" Kituzke piped up from the back seat.
"I've dropped Micah off at Infi's house several times by now, and I've never met the woman." He said.
"...That's not funny." Kituzke said at legnth, expecting a joke, surely.
"Not 'Haha' funny, but 'that's wierd' funny." Raissen explained, shifting to place a foot on the dashboard.

Dian rolled his eyes but said nothing. He couldn't deny that Raissen looked hot as all hell. It was that exact look that had him clambering for the red haired youth from the beginning, but Dian thought it a little inappropriate. He simply sighed as he pulled up Infi's street and into the driveway. All four passengers hopped out of the car simultaneously, Dian locking it as they walked up to the front door.

"Remember, there is only one chance to make a good first impression."

And with that, he reached out and pushed the doorbell.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 24, 2006 3:14 am

Quote:
The doorbell woke Mara, and the first impression that was gotten (at least, most likely by the Chegrin family), was that of an inhuman screech filling the air. Laertes, startled by Mara's scream, hit his lamp, and it fell through the window, shattering onto the front porch.

Inside the house, Infi lifted her chin bravely. "This dinner will be lovely." she said firmly. The five kids downstairs all eyed her dubiously, and Infi opened the door. "Hello." she said with a pale face and a large smile. "Welcome. Please, come in. Make yourselves at home."

Micah waved at Dian. "Ignore the Stepford children." he said, waving his hand. "They aren't usually this dressed up. Or this clean. Kael even washed behind his ears." With that he turned his eyes back to his book and ignored the incoming family.

Laertes had finally found a nice outfit to wear. A white chinese-style top, sleeveless and in white silk- with violet embroidery that matched his eyes- was paired with a short black skirt that was, while almost indecent in legnth, matched the shirt beautifully. He topped it off with some knee-high black stiletto boots with a violet design matching the flowers in his shirt, and a pair of fishnet stockings with a little bit of lace tantalizing from the slit in the skirt. As he came downstairs, Kael's jaw dropped. "Infi, I am soooo not staying in this." he said firmly.

And all four of the "stepford children" managed to get upstairs before Infi could even draw in breath to tell them no.

Mara ran out the door, stabbing her pitchfork at Dian's foot as she ran by.

Dian blinked at the howling screech, wondering momentarily if this indeed was the right house, or if he'd been dropping Micah off at somebody's haunted house they neglected to remove, despite it being late march. A lamp dropped down and crashed to the porch right behind him, and both Dian and Kituzke's tails bristled in alarm, resembling feather dusters.

Grasping it, Dian was hurridly trying to smooth down the fur when Infi opened the door. Instantly he had a bright and beaming smile. He waved to Micah, noting that it was one of the few times Micah actually initiated verbal communication between them.
"I'd very much like to meet your family, Infi...When they get back downstairs that is." He said with a smile. Having raised many kids of his own, he wasn't terribly phased. Raissen stepped out from behind Dian and bowed politely.
"It's good to finally meet you." He said with a genuine smile, before looking past her and spotting Laertes. It was an effort not to have his jaw drop open, but he offered the teen a shy wave. He skipped in the door.
"Laertes, you. look. STUNNING!" He chirped happily.

Raissen sidestepped the everkitten as she tore out the door, jabbing her pitchfork at Dian, who's prey enhanced reflexes allowed him to move his foot out of the way, though his tail completely puffed up again. He sighed and let it fall behind him, where Kituzke picked it up to smooth it out.

Braeden hopped forward then, glowing like a regular jack o lantern. His normal spookiness was completely thwarted by his goofy smile, and he reached out to shake Infi's hand with his own bone marked one. His touch was warm and inhumanly smooth, posessing not even the small wrinkles of skin living beings had.
"Braeden. A pleasure." He said, moving inside. He waved to Micah. For some reason, the soul and the teen seemed to get along, despite their obvious differences in personality, because both could relate to each other's raw pain, and could confide in the other.

The two coons made their way inside as well, Kituzke releasing a low whistle of appreciation.
"Fa~ancy, Miss Infi."
PostPosted: Fri Mar 24, 2006 3:50 am

Infi's smile was small and kind of strained. "I'm really sorry about them running off like that." she said finally. She gave Raissen a smile and a nod, and moved aside so Laertes could step up and give Raissen a quick hug.

"Thanks." the teen said with a smile. "You look pretty good yourself." his hand ran over Raissen's shirt, admiring the soft feel. "And I'm going to steal your shorts." he teased, and took Raissen's hand, leading him over to one of the loveseats.

Infi shook Braeden's hand firmly. "It is truly a pleasure to meet you." Micah scooted over a bit on the couch when Braeden moved inside, an obvious invitation. "And I'm glad you like it." she told Kituzke. "I hope you don't mind, but we'd decided to have dinner on the balcony instead of in the formal dining room." Naira appeared on the stairs in her normal pink-green-and black ensemble and waved. "Come on up." she said. "Balcony is on the third floor. Gorgeous view."

Nakshidil brushed past her. "Infi, I'll send everything up in the dumbwaiter. Crout will grab it for us." Her long hair was pulled up in a loose ponytail and she was wearing blue jeans and a velvet peasant top. She waved Infi upstairs, and the older woman turned to Dian and the other family with a smile.

"You heard the marching orders?" she said cheerfully. "Third floor."

She led them up the wide spiral staircase to the third floor, a very open area and over to the french doors leading out to a terrace-patio decorated in flowers and plants and with a lovely wraught-iron balustrade. The view looked out to the west, where the sun could be seen beginning to set over the lake. And as the sun went down the lights hidden around the area would glow enough to light the patio easily. "Please, take a seat." she said with a smile.

Raissen grinned as Laertes pulled him into a hug, glad his friend seemed to be ajusting well to life in Infi's household. Laertes pushed open his blazer to run his hands over his chest, and it was all Raissen could do to avoid purring at the contact.
"Nuh uh. My shorts." Raissen said, following Laertes over to the seat, the bells on his shorts jingling quietly. "I can try and find you a pair, if you like them." He added as he gracefully decended on one end of the seat.

Braeden liked Infi already. Most people were just a little frightened by the fact he radiated light, but Braeden was a softie, and though he liked occationally spooking people, only in good fun. He released Infi's hand and jammed over to Micah, jumping over the back of the couch to sit beside him, pulling the large trailing edges of his scarf into his lap.

Not a half moment after he had done so they recieved their marching commands. Braeden rolled his eyes as he stood up again. He was howwever, very impressed with the spiral staircase. He 'oohed' quietly with appreciation the grandeur of her house.
Kituzke pulled at Dian's sleeve. The man looked down at him.
"You should remake the house. Ours is all plain and stuff." He said quietly. Dian just smiled and said that he'd see about remodling. It seemed their house was about due for an expansion as well.

The orange kit swept through the doors with a flourish, nabbing a chair nearest to the edge of the balcony while he waited for the food. His bright blue eyes were focused on the orange sparkles that danced from the sun on the ripples of the water, tail flicking lazily. It seemed like the type of setting used in dramatic romance movies. Kituzke was infatuated with the landscape.

"Infi, your estate is beautiful." Dian said in awe, as Braeden jumped to take a seat at the table.
PostPosted: Fri Mar 24, 2006 4:51 pm

Laertes tossed Raissen a smile. "Done. They're very nice." He would've been a little surprised if Raissen had started purring, but it wouldn't've been too bad. Laertes had ignored the marching orders, staying curled up neatly on the couch. "So, what have you been up to? We don't want to go up there yet, dinner isn't ready and while the view is nice, it won't get really nice until later, about dinner time. Plus, it'll be quieter down here if you wanted to talk, or whatever." Laertes left the offer open for Raissen to choose to spend the time with the family upstairs.

"Glad you like it, Dian." Infi said with a smile. "I know it's a little bigger than I really needed, but I figure, if my family keeps expanding at this rate, I can remodel it soon." she laughed, and watched Kituzke's tail twitch.

Naira bounced into one of the rocking chairs, and started chattering at Kituzke about the pets down on the ground. Jade, one of the dewis, raised his head and gave Kituzke a toothy smile. "Hello." he said, voice a deep rumble, head even with Kituzke's, and moved away from the house.

Micah threw himself down onto one of the loveseats, opening his book back up. The cover said it was a book on biology, but the inside was a cheesy romance Crout had slipped out of Infi's closet, and Micah was pondering the plausibility of a "throbbing manhood" being pleasurable for anyone concerned. Throbbing just shouldn't be a word condicive to romance.

Kael slunk in, dressed in a bright crimson wife-beater and a pair of loose pants with chains hanging from them that probably weighed as much as he did. His eyes lit on Dian, then Kituzke, and his jaw dropped at their tails before he took a seat next to Dian, smiling at him brightly. "Heya." he greeted. "I'm Kael!" his eyes gleamed in an unholy, and not at all childish manner as he eyed the artist.

"I'll bet it is a fabulous view. I'm always fond of sunsets. Your house is very lovely, and i'm glad you're happy here. You are, aren't you?"
Raissen shifted so he could more easily look upon Laertes, not quite ready to head upstairs with the younger children just yet. Even as a kiddlet himself he was never too comfortable around lots of more rambunctious children. While not shy, he found the excess energy a little frusterating for unknown reasons. Only his own brothers were exempt from that.

"I ought to do a little remodling myself. It's not suited for any sorts of guests. Mostly cluttered with...sculptures and things. Oh, speaking of which, Infi, what is it you do?" Dian spared a moment to pull off his glasses and clean them, sliding them back up on his nose.

"Whoa!" The kitsune meeped as a giant dragonesque head appeared from under the balcony, baring large glittering teeth. Kituzke almost leapt backwards at the sight, but Jade spoke english, and soon backed up some. Oh drats, his tail resembled a feather duster again. He smiled at Naira as he attempted to smooth it down.

Braeden slunk behind the silver haired teen and peeped over his shoulder, his head mummified in his scarf to keep from casting a glow onto the teen's romance novel.

Dian's ears tilted at the voice and his warm golden eyes alighted on Kael, wearing more than enough steel to easily sink him in a body of water. Absently Dian wondered how he could walk with so much weight, let alone how his pants stayed up.
"Well hello Kael!" Dian said cheerfully, extending his hand to be shaken. "My name is Dian, it's good to meet you."
PostPosted: Wed Mar 29, 2006 10:29 pm

Laertes leaned his head back against the couch, nibbling one lightly painted lip. Was he happy here? He'd adjusted well enough, he supposed. It was one of those, roll with the punches' type things. "I do enjoy it. The place has got the balance of... I'm never lonely, there's so much going on, but for sanctuary, I have so many places. There's the library, my studio, my bredroom... We're even allowed to go in the Aquarium Room to let off some steam. It's probably my favorite room in the house. Nothing heavier than a pillow is allowed to be thrown at the walls though when we're mad. It's all glass, even the ceiling has skylights." Laertes stood up, tugging his skirt down when he noticed the lace showing from the tops of his stockings. "Want to see? The Aquarium is a nice room, got a few comfy chairs, and it's gorgeous."

Infi smiled at Dian. "You're a sculptor?" she asked, lening her head on one hand. "What kind? I mean, animals, people, whatever strikes you? And I am a musician. I compose some, teach a few classes. Live off my inheritance when I need to." she waved a hand at the house. "I like spacious rooms."

Naira giggled, reaching out and patting Kituzke's tail. "The dewis don't eat people, silly." she chided the raccoon, as if seeing a dragon was something that happened to everyone on a daily basis. "Infi buys them cows, or they hunt smaller animals."

Micah was still pondering thow pleasurable a "throbbing" manhood could be! I mean, really. Throbbing equaled something... like a stubbed toe, or a chopped off finger... or something.

Kael smiled at Dian, as well, enchanted by the older man's exotic look. The one closer to his age looked it too, but this one... was kinda sexy. He liked Dian's hands. And his eyes. And his ears. And the tail was so cute! <3 It took all his stregnth not to fangasm and pounce.

Infi would be most upset if he dragged a guest off to his den of iniquity. Besides, he was still young. He could wait. Waiting would make it all the better... if Kael had a tail, it would be twitching. Predatory little kiddlet eyes.

Raissen blinked. "I'd certainly hope no one would be up there throwing around heels or books or something! Glass is a very expensive thing to replace. But yes, I'd love to see it."
Rai was very fond of aquatic creatures. When Dian took them all to the aquarium zoo thingie, he'd loved just standing and staring at the massive fish swim around and around and around. There was a littler one that resembled a shark with whiskers that easily were the legnth of its body. Raissen wondered what type of fish resided in the Infi household. Tropical fish? Ocean fish? A mix? It was a large room, or so Laertes alluded to, so he was curious. So curious indeed he missed the near flashing Laertes gave him.

Dian grinned at Infi. "Yes! And I sculpt anything and everything that makes it into my head, though i'm not as adept with animal sculptures. I primarily work as a funereal sculptor...Tombstones and what not, so largely angels and things...I do portrait work as well.
You're a musician you say? What style of music do you compose? I'm fond of operettas and musical theater, though I enjoy most genres. Do you play instruments, or sing?"

It was a little difficult to pay attention to both Kael and Infi at the same time, but he tried to manage. Seeing his hand unshaken, he withdrew it to fold his fingers together, both ears focused on the dashing woman before him. His own tail swished to and fro rather energetically, positively delighted with the company he was in.

Kituzke raised an eyebrow at Naira. "That thing is a Dewi? He looks like a dragon. What is the difference?" He asked quietly, shifting bright blue eyes between the brown haired girl petting his tail and the retreating form of the dewi. "And where, may I ask, does one randomly buy cows?" The kit shifted, pulling a few wrinkles out of his dark dress as he turned to speak with Naira.

Braeden peeped his head up from behind the couch, pointing to a sentance in Micah's book.
"What's a manhood? Issit like a cloak, or something? How can it throb then? Is it alive?"
He unwound the scarf from his head and let it fall naturally.

Dian took a moment to look over the deck to do a quick headcount and see if everyone was behaving. That was when he spotted Kael's gaze, mischevious...no...predatory even. Kael looked like he wanted to eat him. Not in a devouring cannabilistic way, but more a 'i'd bet you'd taste delicious with some chocolate drizzled over you.' sort of way. Yes, Kael definately had that look. Dian raised an eyebrow and shifted back to look at Infi, slightly disturbed by his own thoughts.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 29, 2006 11:09 pm

Laertes would be relieved if he knew Raissen had, indeed, missed the flashing. "Yeah, it would be bad. She's not worried about the money, I'm pretty sure, but worried about the fish, and our lives." he almost led Raissen up the stairs, but decided he'd follow him. "Umm, third floor." he said, and stood there feeling like an idiot, staring at Raissen with big eyes.

Infi cooed eagerly. "I love the visual arts. I'm not very talented in the visual arts. It's something that breaks my heart, but one learns to manage. As for the type of music I write, I write whatever. Done an operetta, a couple short musicals, edited some choir pieces for school-age kids. I give piano and voice lessons, private, and if they pay me enough, I'll teach at some of the schools for a day or so, Guest lecturer and all that." she waved a hand, standing up. "Is anyone here thirsty?" she said, and smiled, seeing Braeden peeking over Micah's shoulder. How wonderful. <3 They both shared an interest in biology.

Naira gave Kituzke a superior look. "A dewi is a type of dragon." she informed him. "I don't know how on earth she gets them though. And she buys the cows on cow farms." Seriously. Who didn't know that?

Micah frowned at Braeden. "Well, it's our..." he gestured at his crotch. "One of Infi's romance novels. Apparently they can't just call a c**k a c**k and get it over with." The preteen rolled his eyes, going back to the book. "Apparently, this pirate is about to spear some chick with it. I really... don't see how it could be pleasurable." he slammed the book shut and turned to smile up at Braeden. "So, what'cha been up to?"

Kael's face turned childishly innocent when he saw Dian look at him. Caught. Bugger. He eyed the adult one more time, mind working overtime.

Adorably lucient violet eyes, Raissen would add. Laertes could look so charmingly befuddled, at times. Taking his incentive, Raissen ran up the steps two at a time, as he just sort of tended to do. Exiting the stairwell, Raissen waited for Laertes.
"Which way?" He asked to the dark haired teen who followed him up. He didn't know the way to this infamous aquarium room.

Dian was very impressed with Infi. He'd always wanted to speak with a composer. Music stirred him in ways few other things that were not artistic could. Dark operettas almost encited joygasms in him every time. Dian was hopelessly infatuated with gothic and victorian era things, and had a secret fondness of chamber choirs. "I am, Infi. I'll take anything non alcoholic."

Kituzke sniffed at Naira. Well, if she wasn't just miss know it all! Well Kituzke knew plenty things she didn't, so she didn't have to act all high and mighty over a simple question. Rather put off by her attitude, Kituzke pulled his tail away from the girl and made a point of staring out at the scenery again, willing it to make him less irritated.

Braeden crinkled his nose at Micah's explination. "I've never been too fond of that word, myself. It reminds me too much of chickens. But the throbbing does sound painful. Maybe he spears her to...Well I don't know why." Honestly, sex and its references to animals...really. Braeden leaned his elbow on the edge of the couch and his chin in his hand.
"Not much, readin' a lot, helping D at the forge. He's trying to put me in some school, you?"

Dian fortunately missed the exchange between his two surrogate charges, or he'd likely have reddened somewhat. He turned his inviting golden gaze back to Kael, who more or less looked as a child should. He smiled at the silver haired youth, admiring his hair. Silver hair was an attractive rarity Micah and Kael shared. He openly admired Kael for a moment, a lazy smile on his face. Dian pictured himself trying to sculpt Kael, wondering how to accurately render his already muscular form in clay, working the body under his hands...
"You have beautiful eyes." Dian said quietly, looking directly into Kael's large and luminous blue and red eyes. Silver lashes...Snapping out of it, Dian began to clean his glasses as he attempted to clear his thoughts, allowing his long orange hair to obscure his eyes.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 29, 2006 11:59 pm

Laertes followed Raissen upstairs, and led him through the hall, past the exit to the patio, to a door on the same side as that patio. "Right here." he opened the door with a small smile, inhalint the slightly salty air.

There was an aquarium built into the walls that circled all four walls, unbroken except for the doorway they stood in, the entrance to the bathroom, and one window, but even then the doorways and that window were just an arch in the aquarium. There was no seam, it was just a wall of flawless glass. Three of the walls were painted a rich blue, to enhance the color of the water, and the room was in a corner of the house, so the wall by the outside was carefully paneled glass, to let in plenty of natural light. The air was almost salty, and a little on the warm side, however it was possible to open some of the skylights in the ceiling to let in cool, fresh air. In the tanks swam colorful creatures of many shapes and sizes. Plants grew on the bottom of the tank. The entire room was it's own aquatic ecosystem, and in the center of the room was a queen-sized four-poster bed, complete with canopy and drapes that could be closed for privacy.

Laertes gestured at one of the fluffy, comfortable-looking chairs in the room. "Take a seat. I usually curl up on the bed." It was very comfortable, and would easily fit them both, with room to move around so he wouldn't be flashing Raissen, but...

Infi nodded, and disappeared, moving downstairs towards the kitchen. Non-alcoholic... and she'd bring up sodas for all the kids. As for Naira, she was very disappointed when Kituzke pulled his tail away. She bit her lip, trying not to look too sulky. really, how was SHE supposed to know everyone didn't know about dewis. Really!

Micah shrugged. "It's easy to say. Crude, but yet it pops up in all sorts of romance novels, so girls must find it romantic. And I know WHY he spears her, I just don't see how something THROBBING could FEEL good." he grumbled, and slammed the book shut. "Not a lot here. Infi got me a new game. I get to kill stuff. Wanna try it out? And I got some new clothes too."

Kael tried not to groan at the look in Dian's golden eyes. And then... "Thank you." he gave Dian a happy smile at the compliment. Lord, Infi wouldn't notice one less guest... and hell, he'd be content just sitting in Dian's lap, snuggled against that man's chest, dreaming...

Well, damnit, girls were allowed to dream about their weddings. Why not Kael?

"Whoooa! Wow!" Raissen said with excitement. He'd always imagined a room that was like how it was at the zoos, but always figured it to be far too expensive. The cost of the fish alone would be a small fortune, let alone the cost of such a solid pane of glass, routine maintenance, repairs...
"How does she afford all of this? Infi didn't win the lottery, did she?" Raissen asked with curiosity, admiring how the water made the room smell like the beach. Inhaling deeply, he let the memories of the beach by his house overcome him. The first rave he ever went too, meeting Trinket and Dare...and Ptah.

Raissen scratched the back of his head, suddenly nervous. He walked up to one of the chairs and took a seat, drawing his legs up onto it sideways, so he wouldn't be setting the soles of his boots on the furniture.

Kituzke made a point of not looking at Naira. He didn't dare say anything further that might show his own lack of knowlege again. No, Kituzke had never seen a dragon or a Dewi in anything other than mythology books. He'd heard a lot about them sure, but never encountered one before in person. He was always under the impression of dragons being mildly agressive territorial creatures at best.

Braeden was purely speculating, because he had no experience that he could remember of anything sexual, from his past life or this one.
"How could they come up with throbbing then if it didn't feel good to someone?" He asked innocently, pulling at his ponytail and looking at Micah. The preteen was the only one who would talk frankly with Braeden. Dian was hopeless with frank discussions, Kituzke didn't know anything, and his other siblings were never around anymore.
"What kinda stuff to you get to kill? And yeah! You always have the coolest clothes!" The orange soul was always fond of Micah's sense of style, though he never tried to emulate it.

It seemed both Kael and Dian became lost somewhere in their own fantasies. Sliding his glasses back on, Dian drew his tail into his lap to gently finger brush the soft fur, something to keep his hands busy.
"So! How old are you, Kael? Have any hobbies yourself?" He asked, watching to see if he brought the young boy out of any daydreams. Dian was fortunate he didn't have Micah's empathy, or could read minds, as Kael's thoughts likely would have scared him by this point.
