Every day was the same.
In some cases—great. It meant that life was fairly good, and things were normal and nothing was out of control.
In other cases…
Goretti had stagnated.
He had tried nearly everything he could think of. He had fought youma, and Negaverse Agents, and went with the group when they attacked the Negaverse City (or whatever it was called)—he had faced his fears, and what had it gotten him?
Disappointment.
His father was working late, so he wasn't worried about sneaking out; he had taken his time to get to the park and though he had come out to try and do some good, he wound up finding an empty can on the ground. He kicked it as he walked, forlorn. His hands were jammed into his pockets and he ran over every bit of advice anyone had ever given him about being a senshi and getting stronger.
Nothing had helped, so far, and while Goretti certainly wasn't one to lose hope…
He was losing hope.
Absentminded, he continued to trudge along, trying to pick out who he could ask, where he could go, what he could do. He was oblivious to the other energy signatures. Instead, he focused on nudging the can along as he shuffled through the park.

Harmonia had been able to sneak out of her house for the first time since returning from her home planet and reaching Eternal. Life and over protective parents were not helping her nightly adventures, but in a way it was good. Even though she had come to terms with herself as a senshi and what she wanted to pursue as an eternal. It really was amazing how spending time on Harmonia had helped her straighten herself out and realize that she could carve her own destiny.
With the evening proving to be a fairly nice one, Harmonia opted to explore the park. The evening air was mild, and the slightest of breeze ruffled the leaves of the trees and the Eternal's hair as she slipped through the darkness to the lighted paths that dotted the area. It seemed like it was going to be a quiet night. Nothing appeared out of place and she didn't sense anything odd...
But then a signature caught her attention and the faint sound of something skittering across the ground. It most certainly wasn't a youma and Harmonia had only run into a chibi a small handful of times, but it was undeniably a youngling by the signature. Curiosity peeked, Harmonia made her way to the source of the signature and odd sound. There she found the boy absently kicking around a can as he moved along the paths. He was completely oblivious to everything around him which was obvious due to the fact he didn't look up once to see her approach.
With a sigh, Harmonia walked up to the boy and kicked the can back to him after it had skittered a fair distance form him. "You know, you should be more aware of what's around you." She said gently. "If I had been an officer you may have found yourself in quite a bit of trouble."
She stood there, hands on hips as she studied the boy who wasn't much younger than herself. Possibly about to outgrow his chibi rank. He seems a bit down though. "I am Harmonia, senshi of Harmony." She smiled kindly at him. "Do you mind a bit of company tonight? I wouldn't mind having someone to chat with."

Goretti's eyes snapped up immediately and he looked both embarrassed and guilty that he'd been caught unawares. "If you were an officer, I'm sure I would have noticed. Hi," he greeted, and offered his hand. "It's nice to meet you, Harmonia I'm Goretti. Senshi of, you know. Glue. If you want company, I'm more than happy to have you, but I can't promise I'll be particularly exciting."
He sighed, but picked his head up and forced a smile, anyway; he wasn't the sort to gripe or whine—not in front of company, at least. He didn't want her to think he didn't want her around or that he was upset she'd shown up. On the contrary, he was particularly happy to have company, especially when it kept his mind off of less pleasant things.
He gave the can one last kick, close to a trashcan, and then promptly ran over to dispose of it before he returned to her side. "What do you want to chat about?"

“It’s nice to meet you, Goretti!” She responded with a smile. “And there’s no need to be exciting. Just willing to deal with me is enough.” She grinned at him, hoping she might get a genuine smile out of the kid. She didn’t want him to feel like he had to put on a chipper face for her. In fact, she was willing to hear out what was troubling him, but she wasn’t quite sure how to approach that subject without seeming pushy. After all, they had only just met.
She watched as the younger senshi kicked the can one last time in the general direction of a trashcan before running over to dispose of the garbage. When he returned she shrugged at his question. “Anything really. I much prefer the company of someone willing to chat with me than the silence of the evening while I patrol. It helps make the time go by.”
Realising she was probably better off starting some sort of conversation Harmonia decided to gently press matters. Hopefully he wouldn't get angry at her, or worse, decide to just stomp away. It was hard to tell since she knew nothing about the chibi. “So what were you doing out here? You seemed quite intent on that can. Surely there has to be something more entertaining than kicking garbage around?”

Harmonia's words drew out a smile from Goretti, and he seemed to relax a bit. There was that nagging voice in the back of his head that prevented him from being absolutely delighted, but it was a good start in the right direction.
…Even though he immediately felt guilty about kicking the can. "Oh," he blurted suddenly. "I would have gotten that, I'm sorry. I didn’t mean to send you running after that. I just—I mean, I didn't come out here just to kick garbage. I just came out to sort of clear my head and think about a few things. Oh, and stop any youma if any happened by. But—no," he shrugged and slid his hands into his pockets, trying not to let his sour mood slip back in.
"I was hoping that if I focused hard enough I'd be able to figure out what I was actually supposed to be doing—you know? It's the same thing, day after day, and nothing ever changes. And I really want it to. I want to get better—I want to be a real senshi. I'm tired of being a chibi."
