The morning had gone by slow - slow enough, in fact, that Bob had deemed it a day dedicated to further exploring this crazy new city of his.
The television had provided him with little to no value when it came to ideas about the local scenery. All of the drab, poorly done commercials featured on the basic cable channels advertised divorce lawyers, weight loss studies and depression medications, none of which the large tom cat felt he needed in his life (save for his human, Rob was okay, for the most part). Smashing the channel button several more times, he managed to land on the Channel Three News station, which happened to be doing a brief segment on some of the mayor's campaigns on raising awareness over historical landmarks in need of renovation or rehabilitation.
Glancing over some of the dilapidated looking buildings that flashed across the screen, Bob couldn't help but wonder why anyone would want to restore any of these junk heaps - wouldn't it just be easier to bulldoze them over and start fresh? Build a new McDonalds or Walmart or maybe even a park - he could use another park to loiter around in.
The last building, though, looked halfway intriguing. He thought he recalled seeing it from the window as the car had driven into the city for the first time, an old schoolhouse that had been abandoned more than a few years ago. Clearly it had been left to rot away, the city having failed to figure out some future use for it.
Maybe he'd find something interesting. Maybe it'd be a bust. But there was only one way to find out.
So that's how Bob found himself, almost an hour later, peering through the wrought iron gate and tall grass towards the creepy looking school in the distance.
Heck, it beat watching old reruns, at least.
Kolina If I need to make any adjustments, please let me know!

Magnus found himself tired of lazing about and had gone in search of something to do and, as per usual, got himself happily lost within the ghostly hallways of an abandoned building. This time a delapidated school. It had been an amazing find in his book. Especially when he went inside and found all sorts of things still nestled in desks and bookshelves. It almost had the feel as if the school was evacuated in a rush and no one bothered to come back to retrieve their things. It was peculiar, but oh so much fun!
He perused through books and old papers. Some were obviously students work what with their names clearly printed on the top of the paper. Some were graded with large red letters, while others remained blank of any corrections. A book in particular about constellations and astrology had caught his interest for awhile but he eventually bored of the subject and padded off to find other interesting things.
At one point he hopped up onto a window sill. The view looked down upon the entrance of the building and Magnus yawned and stretched as the sun, beating through the pane, warmed his grey fur. He paused, sitting on the sill, and peered outside. Blue eyes roved over the overgrown yard, noting an area that may have been a small playground, another area that was obviously a concrete slab at one point, and an orange cat that sat outside the main gate...
Orange cat?
Magnus flicked his focus back to the gate, eyes squinted as he looked down. I am pretty sure that's not just a typical cat. He mused. Deciding to find out for himself, he leapt off the sill and hurried his way outside. His grey fluffy tail the only thing really visible in the overgrown grass as he held it errect and hurried to the gate.Ghouliboo Gah, I suck that this took so long! Work has been killing my muse.

From down on his level, he thought he could see a movement in one of the windows. A trick of the mind or maybe a flash of sunlight peeking through a cloud at a convenient moment?
He stared at the window a little while longer, but the movement was gone. Whatever had been there, if anything at all, was no longer lurking. Instead, an eerie feeling began to overtake him as he sensed an aura in the distance. An aura that was growing stronger and stronger by the moment.
Glancing towards both sides of the street, he saw nothing. Bob looked back towards the building - was it coming from inside there? How intriguing.
As one orange paw stepped between the iron gate bars, the large tom cat did his best to squeeze the rest of him through the narrow passage, sucking in a deep breath as he slid in. His own tail bobbed above the grass like a submarine's periscope, long ears following suit as he poked his head up to watch out for the nearing aura...
...that seemed to be focused around the grey tail heading right in his direction.
An eyebrow quirked up and he grinned. Okay, a Guardian - he could deal with a Guardian. Someone his size and relatively safe to approach. At the same time, memories of the high-strung Ash flashed across his thoughts and he swallowed.
So maybe hopefully this one wouldn't decide to go all Human on him and try to scare him off too?
"Please tell me you're not a territorial kind of cat," He called out, forcing his voice to be loud as to carry over the tall grass, "Because that place looks way too creepy not to try and investigate."

Magnus stopped when he heard the voice, a single paw held up in the air mid step, tail still erect, as an ear twitched in the direction the voice had come from. Perfect! A Guardian like me though...Perhaps a corrupted one? Hmm...
Lowering his poised paw, Magnus chugged through the grass until finally finding the orange tomcat amongst the tall vegetation. "Hardly. I am much more willing to share my new adventure hole." He replied amiably. "I agree, it is rather creepy and it's much better on the inside." He chuckled, blue eyes full of mirth. "I'd be willing to spend a day in comfortable company if you're willing?"
Magnus wasn't quite sure how this other Guardian would react. Would he be alright exploring with the order feline? Or would he prefer to rummage around on his own? In the end it didn't much matter, he suppose, but the grey guardian was quite intrigued by corrupted Maus. So far he'd only run into one other and that one...well....he was a spunky little thing that needed to learn a few manners.
"I am Magnus by the way, Pleasure to meet you...?"

"Pleasure is all mine, Magnus." His tail flicked, but his smile was genuine. This was the first Order Guardian he'd come across that hadn't been hostile towards him - and the gesture was appreciated. It was about time one of these goody-goody furballs came to their senses and saw him for what he was: another cat. "I'm Bob."
It seemed as though the other feline had already begun the exploration of the dilapidated building, but that didn't spoil the potential adventure they had sitting in front of them - it was a large building and they were cats. There was an entire world to explore and Bob had absolutely no problem with partnering up during this particular investigation.
"And company is always welcomed, where I'm concerned." A paw moved out to flip his tie over his shoulder, a sign that he was ready to get down and dirty, if the need arose. His other paw moved forward, insinuating his readiness to begin. "So what are we dealing with here? Do you think it's completely deserted in there? D'you know what happened in this joint?"

"Nice to meet you, Bob." Magnus said with a nod of his head. Seemed that this fella was going to be rather enjoyable to share company with. Perfect! Corrupted or not, Magnus was willing to spend time with anyone who didn't outrightly cause him problems. Well, ok, he could deal with annoying kittens if it came down to it, but really, Magnus liked more grown-up company.
At the indication to the building, Magnus's grin blossomed more. "I haven't been able to get through the whole building yet. It seems deserted though I am sure there are kids and even adults who come in to check things out. I don't know what happened here though. Whatever it was they left a lot of stuff behind."
Flicking his tail, Magnus began to trot off towards the building, pausing a moment to glance behind to Bob. "Come on, there's a broken window over here that we can hop up into." He meandered his way through the grass, tail erect, as he made his way to the mentioned window. The glass had long since scattered, and most of it was buried deep in the ground. It was a bit of a jump, but nothing that the cashmere feline couldn't handle.
Pausing under the window, Magnus calculated his jump before leaping up and onto the sill of the window. "Just be careful coming in. There's come glass scattered on the floor." He mentioned before disappearing into the darkness of the building, taking care to avoid the small and large shards that still littered the ground of the abandoned office.

For a brief moment, thoughts reminisced on the old adage of curiosity and its unfriendliness towards the feline species. Green eyes watched as the other cat disappeared into the broken window and into the darkness that consumed the old, ancient building. Bob had seen enough ghost flicks on basic cable (and Netflix, as of recently) to know better than to venture into abandoned buildings, but as he was neither human nor in possession of any other cliche, television trope, he wiggled his rump up in the air, preparing for the leap.
Front paws dug into the dirt beneath and he sprung up, claws catching hold of the aging sill. He sucked in his gut once again to slip his way past the shattered pane, hopping down into the darkened room. The only light visible came from the open door of the...classroom? It was hard to tell, but a hallway awaited the two Guardians, offering the only light outside of the window they'd just arrived from.
"Been in Destiny for long?" His voice echoed faintly in the empty room, reinforcing the completely deserted vibe he was getting from the place. "Can't say that I've seen too many of us lurking about, but there's more than enough fuku wearers to go around."
Bob had seen a fair share of senshi - of both varieties - to make sense for several cats to be out and about. Perhaps this sensible feline would have some favorable hot spots where he could keep his presence... under wraps, so to speak.
