Appearance: With white scruffy hair and bright blue eyes, Ilya looks like an average, very happy, 11 year old. He stands at a whopping 5'0" with a thin, slight build that without him looking too frail. Ilya has a small amount of muscle due to his constant activity and working with his mother at her work. He still has his chubby, childlike face and large cat-like eyes of a bright piercing blue. A smile is almost always on this child's face.
Personality: Ilya is very happy, and very curious. He loves people, loves learning, and loves running around and finding new things. Generally, he is quick to act, never thinking too much about his actions until it is too late. He's a strong little boy who enjoys trying his hardest, and wants to make the world a better place for him mom. Other than this, he loves yoyo's, candy, and warm milk. There are times when he gets a little possessive over his things and those he cares about, and prefers to be with someone he loves at all times. He wants to be a Baiter to get strong and protect his mother, and to meet those girls he met while running around his mother's work. Who were they? He had to know.
Bio: Being very young still, there isn't much to his story. He hasn't done too much schooling, and hasn't been able to experience too much of what it means to be alive. Eleven years prior to the current date, Ilya was born in Moscow, Russia to a woman named Katya, who worked at a mysterious place that he visited with her rather frequently. Due to his extremely high curiosity, he always wondered around the place. Inside, he found many things to his liking. He found many people to talk to, always stopping to talk to the people who both worked and resided there. He never really knew any of the inmates names, only ever learning their numbers. Being so young, he didn't quite understand the situation. Why they were there, why they remained locked up, who they were, and so on. So, naturally, he talked to them. Asked them questions for as long as they could stand it. Both strange people were very kind to him, but every time he tried to talk to them, his mother found him and ushered him away before the conversation got too far.
However, that didn't stop him from making contact with various inmates over the next few years. When he was six years old, as per normal, Ilya was wandering the halls of the facilities. He wandered around alone, much to his mothers discomfort, when he was attacked by a giant octopus monster who wandered the halls the same time as him. While Ilya normally was never scared of any of the people at the facilities, this one caused him to quake with fear as the large beast attacked him. To the rescue, two of the other people being held at the facilities came, 'taking care of' the beast that attacked Ilya. Forever grateful, Katya would treat both of them with a great deal of respect, and Ilya grew fond of them. Over the course of the next few years, Ilya made frequent visits to the girls. Teaching them about the outside world, school, chocolate, people... He talked endlessly, and it seemed that the two were greatly interested.
Eventually, though, the two girls disappeared. Katya seemed anxious about their leaving, but he was unsure as to why. If they left, wasn't that a good thing? Or did they escape? After ages of prodding, Katya finally told her son that they left, and were never coming back. This confused Ilya, unsure of what to think about these people not being there anymore. Where did they go? Why weren't they back? After a year, he still didn't have any answers, so he was forced to take matters into his own hands. The Baiters were always people he looked up to, always something he wanted to be without any doubt in his mind. His reasoning was always to protect his mother and those he cared about, but... Now his reasons had shifted. He needed to find his friends, the only friends he had. Once, he over heard his mother talk to them about the organization, so it was his best starting point.
At the age of 11, he finally made the decision to run away from home to take the H.A.L.F. exam, his mother not completely aware of where he was going to be that day. Armed with his trusty yoyo's, a small backpack which contained a few changes of clothes, and some cheese sticks... he was ready. Ready for the rest of his life to change.
Code Cores
Code Core 1
A average looking yoyo with a light blue casing and a deep purple middle. The string has been replaced with a metal alloy that makes it more durable and more powerful when it lands a hit. Rather than being made of plastic, the blue and purple casing has also been replaced with metal that makes the yoyo both heavier, and stronger. Ilya has two of these, though his AI will only be placed in one.
