[Event] The Shadow Garden Maze~

A maze has popped up in the Cauldron back garden!! Its rather ominous, but most would be able to tell that it isn't that powerful.. Besides, every riddle has an answer, and that's that right?
Venture forth into the maze! Be the first to solve it and you will be handsomely rewarded. Though keep a look out for dangers and treasures alike long the way~~

The afternoon was pleasantly warm with just a touch of cool breeze, which Pai appreciated as he stepped out of the hot kitchen and into the main Cafe. The back door to the garden was open, as was the front, a nice cross breeze wafting right along the counter area. He smoothed his lavender and pink hair back into perfect shape and adjusted his glasses before greeting a pair of patrons that had just entered. Showing them to a table, he took their order and got back to work.

As he was pulling the infuser from the couple's tea pot to ready it for serving, he frowned as the soft yellow light that came through the windows was very suddenly dimmed. It had gone from spring mid-day to fall midnight in less than a few seconds... There was no way it was just a passing cloud. Setting the teapot down, he left the kitchen to see better through the shop's larger windows. Everyone was standing and looking out, mostly into the back garden.
Full on scowling now, the cherub stepped through the back door and looked around. The sky was black and unnaturally so, seeming to hang low over the treetops of the garden.
Before he could fully get a sense of what was going on, Sen joined him, looking equally worried. Taking it as a cue, most of the patrons came out as well to gaze about in curiosity.

"Dark Magic." Pai murmured to Sen who nodded, green eyes worried.
"You don't think its some evil ex of yours or something do you-?" Sen had started to ask, though was cut off half way as the area around them swirled. The darkness seemed to gather down over them , obscuring everyone's sight so they couldn't even see the one next to them.
Sen reached out to grab Pai's hand though, which the cherub gripped back firmly, not wanting to get separated in... whatever was going on.

After a few moments the area around settled.
However it looked nothing like the cafe's beloved garden. They now stood before a tunnel opening it seemed.
"What the-" Pai started, looking around wildly for the others. Unfortunately it seemed the group that had gone into the garden had been split up. Pai and Sen were together still, but the others...

Both men's grips tightened suddenly as a low rumble of a laugh seemed to echo through the area, vibrating off the walls and traveling to every corner.
"Have fun in my little maze~~" It jeered, Pai and Sen exchanging slightly weary glances. Neither recognized the voice. "I hope you all rot!! And while you flail about trying to slove it, I'll be stealing all of your secrets!!" It sent out another, rather annoying cackle of a laugh then faded.

Slowly Pai let go of Sen's hand, going over to the nearby stone wall to touch it. "Its definitely magic." He said, a soft purple glow at his fingertips as he tried to discern what type.
"I don't think its that sophisticated at all honestly." His tone unimpressed. "We will just have to find the epicenter to undo it." Shaking his head, he took his hand back, looking over to Sen and about to ask what he thought they should do about the patrons that were probably now wandering about as well. "Hey!!" he shouted, only seeing the large phoenix's back by now as the idiot ran off into the maze.

"I'll find it and get us all out!" He shouted over his shoulder before running on.. soon being lost in the swirling mists of the maze.
Pai pressed a hand to his forehead with a small groan as his friend just ran off like that. Idiot indeed...
Sighing, he gathered himself and set off to follow, though no matter how he ran he didn't find his friend again. They were on their own it seemed...

Note: You may play with a friend/with friends in a group. However please keep in mind there is still only -one- end prize. If your group reached the end, then either you will have to decide who gets the prize among yourselves, or we will roll randomly. (The same goes for -any- loot found along the way, too )

Note: You may change your character before you begin playing as long as it also is approved in the approval thread. Once you start the maze however, you may not change characters.

Flow of Movement through the maze:
-Each move will be replied to with a description detailing where you end up and also the next possible choices.
- Be clear in replying with which direction you wish to take.
- Each move made and replied to counts as one Move.
-Each person gets 8 Moves per day.
-The MOVE DAY restarts every day at NOON PST. Please be aware of this!!
-Fighting opponents do not count as Moves. Moving into the area of said opponent and Moving out of the area of said opponent are, though.
-Each Player is responsible for numbering their moves at the top of each Move post!!! This is so us admin can know to pay attention particularly to those, since RP is allowable in-between Moves.

Stats:
Each character has the exact same stats, save for the chosen bonus which will be explained bellow.

Stats:
ATK- Damage done (By physical or magical attacks)
DEF- HP
DEX- How hard your character is to hit
ACC- How adept your character is at hitting

the stats in battle:
ATK- if a hit is landed, a 1d4 will be rolled for damage done (both done -by- user characters, as well as damage done -to- user characters)
DEF- Every character has 15hp
DEX- Opponents will roll a 1d10 to hit user characters, if a 5 or above is rolled, the character is hit.
ACC- User characters will roll a 1d10 to hit an opponent, if a 5 or above is rolled, the opponent is hit.


Favored Stat: Each character is able to choose ONE stat to be their Favored Stat. The character will receive +1 to that stat and all rolls pertaining to that stat.

Reminder:

Flow of Battle:
- First attacker is decided by the rp situation (who comes upon who and is agressive first)
-For this example, we will say User Character (UC) attacks Opponent (OP) first.
-UC will roll 1d10 to see if they hit.
-If UC rolls above a 5, OP is hit.
-UC then rolls 1d4 for resulting damage.

Then it is OP's turn.
-OP will roll a 1d10 to see if UC is hit.
-If OP rolls above a 5, UC is hit.
-OP then rolls a 1d4 for damage.

If hits miss, then damage roll is skipped and it is then the next turn.

If a character reaches 0- HP they are knocked out and sent back 1 move, loosing that move from their total.

Rping:
☆ In terms of RPing, roll posts should be just for rolls. You can leave it as that, or in a follow-up post, rp out the motions dictated by the roll (i.e. if it misses, you can rp dodging or blocking for example. If it hits, roll damage then rp the hit appropriately. )


☆ For non moving or rolling posts, feel free to rp! With anyone that accompanies your character, or even a solo post of their movements/thoughts/etc~

Elemental ashes are somewhat similar to normal ashes, though there -are- some differences.
As the name implies, these ashes are mostly made up of their respective element, also being filled with things that perfectly supplement this. When they are grown, they will -be- elementals though of course influenced by your item choice when growing them. Their skin, hair, and clothing will all be made of their base element so be prepared~!
