"We meet again, tall, dark and mysterious," she announced, pulling one of the chairs over from another table to slide into at Shun's table. She sat backwards on the seat, chin resting on the small bar.
In her hand was a small frappucino, courtesy of Chris-
(they were always courtesy of Chris, she didn't have money)
-who had now fled the scene because he was late for some class or other. She hadn't been totally listening. "How goes it?"

Shun had been sitting at a more secluded table with a laptop in front of him. Headphones in place. He was just about to take a sip of his drink when he heard the screeching of metal against floor sound out. And slowly, he turned to see just who it was.
"...You again," he said merely before grunting, "Busy."

She leaned over and peered at the screen, not understanding any of it, elbows on the back of her chair.
"With what?"

If she was watching, she may notice that he was highlighting portions of the screen at a time, pausing a bit, then doing the same for the next section of text.

"You even work when yer just gettin' coffee? Snore." She didn't move to stop him though. If he was highlighting anything specific, she couldn't know why.

Shun muttered this to himself as he takes another drink of his coffee. He continued to highlight portions of the screen. After a little while, he paused and looked at Chel.
"Is there something you want?"

"Just sayin' hi. Why are you so against talkin' to me?" Chel was the type of person that asked questions upfront without premise.
"Do I smell or somethin'?" And she pulled her shirt down to sniff just in case.

Then she pointed her cup at him and added, "I don't, by the way. But I could." Just to be clear.

"Somehow, I highly doubt that. Even then, the chances of being fed horseshit is a possibility," Shun muttered as he took another drink of his coffee. He paused mid-sip just to roll his eyes.
"Well no s**t. Because aliens do not exist."
