Hyrule High School North, the most prestigious and illustrious name in Hyrulean education. Its reputation is perhaps surpassed only by the performance and success of its students, many of whom go on to work in Castle Town or run successful private practices as magicians, doctors, all the way to military.

No noteworthy school is without a rival, however, and at Hyrule High School South the students and teachers aim to prove just that. To their credit, but not satisfaction, they have succeeded in proving that there could be a school in the realm that could become a match for North. The birth of the school and its christening as "South" is an interesting story to begin with; as North would've needed a reason to change its name from just "Hyrule High School." After a fight about who should be called Hyrule High, South taking the argument that they were in fact closer to Castle Town and North sticking to their guns as the top school, the decision was made to split the schools and the name in contention. Needless to say North wasn't happy with this, and to this day aims to crush them in everything to prove their superiority. And so the rival school came to be. It might still be second best, but at every opportunity the school aims to close the gap and take its place as Hyrule's most illustrious establishment.

Montoya Academy. When people hear that name they think of outrageous festivals, the best parties, decent students, and good job placement. Well, they might only think of the first couple things. Being the biggest school in the area, Montoya has a lock on nearly every college and university within 200km. It isn't any wonder, then, that the students at this well-known prep-school seem not so much to be worried about homework as they are gossip.

Remedial Classes... Nobody likes 'em, but sometimes you just gotta do it. And if you have to do it, this is the place. More than a few Montoya kids end up here. You can play this zone at night, and no matter to which world you belong... Somehow.

In Hyrule: North is overcast and slightly muggy. South is cool and humidity it down. Winds calm all around with Death Mountain threatening to go off again: another normal day in the realm.
Montoya: The air is dry, but thanks to a cool breeze it isn't too cumbersome. The intermittent clouds give some chills as the first day of school promises to be a cool one. Grab your jackets!
Everywhere the time is the same. ... For now.
