She rolled her shoulders and leaned her head from one side to the next before taking a step forward. Kalliope wanted to find that perfect rhythm. One that spoke to her soul and would capture the eyes, hearts, and minds of those that watched. It was her dream to become the best dancer in all of Tendaji. If she wanted to complete that then she needed something that was uniquely hers.

Those coins on her jewelry tinkled against one another with every move she gave. Her legs twisted and shimmied, her hips twirled, and her arms rotated but none of it seemed to be working. Knowing this she stopped and hung her head as she took a few deep breaths. Kalli was trying to figure out what it was that was keeping her from creating the perfect dance. Was it her beat? The song that she danced to? Was it not meant for her? Or was it that she was simply unable to hear it and let her body react?

With a huff she lifted her head and tried again. She was doing fine but then all at once she started to over think it again. This tripped her up and she stumbled forward, giving a small frustrated scream. Why!? Why was it not going the way she planned? Once she was balanced again she looked toward the sky and sent up a curse to whichever evil deity was causing her to fail.

Deciding to give it one more try she shook her limbs in the hopes that maybe she was just too stressed out. After that she tried once more to do as Vodyanoi had shown her and use her jewelry to her advantage but when she messed up again she threw her hands up in surrender. Apparently she was going to accomplish nothing while in such a mood.
