Knowing that she had to come up with something more to keep patrons interested in her dances, Kalli was once again at it. Practicing and creating moves to a beat that only she seemed to be aware of. Oddly enough she was using her feet to turn and stomp, moving her jewelry in a jingle, just as Vodyanoi had shown her once. It was a neat trick and very good advice. It allowed her to work without actually having to have someone there to play music for her. So long as she could make the tempo she needed.

When she thought she had what she wanted she began to shift and turn, implementing all of her body in the moves. Kalli thought it was going good until her mind over thought things and soon she was off rhythm. Pausing she had to take a deep breath and try again. The Oban dancer was sure that if she could simply get her whole body to move in sync then she would have the best dance. However, each time she tried she seemed to get off kilter.

Sighing in frustration Kalli brought both of her hands up to go through her hair and scratch at her scalp to stimulate some creativity. It was one of the few times she had her hair down but only because she hadn't thought to put it up so early in the morning. Standing like that, holding her hair in her hands, she moved her feet again but now she was unable to make the beat that she had had going before. Kalliope closed her eyes and dropped her hands from her hair to her sides. She had to be missing something and whatever that something was it was damned important. Now if only she could think of that something so she could come up with a dance that would dazzle.
