There was nothing to do. Hiei had finished his patrol route and now was attempting to relax. The stallion had found nothing of interest in the day's patrol area. Everything seemed too quiet these days. It was times like this the stallion really felt the chafe of being one of the youngest. Everyone looked up to Dai and who could blame them for doing so but Dai had no sense of humor it seemed at times. Wandering around Hiei caught a flash of yellow-gold plumage and grinned. It seemed that Oma was nearby. Hiei's gaze narrowed on his brother.
Seeing that his brother was alone Hiei decided he'd get his brother's opinion on something. "Hey Oma, got a minute?"
Hiei dug his claws into the earth as he waited to see if Oma would heed his call.

Oma was flying around just above the trees keeping an eye on things from the air. It wasn't his turn for patrol but he kept his eyes out for the female who had snagged his heart with out him knowing it and probably with out her knowing too. But she had needed to get going on her way and he wasn't sure that she had the same feelings he did. But he knew he had never met someone like her and he had felt so different near her.
Hearing someone call out to him he looked down at the ground and saw his brother looking up and calling to him. Was something up? He angled down and landed at him as he landed near his brother. "Is everything ok brother?" He asked softly, his voice deep but soft. He wasn't known for being any more fun with Dai was but he wasn't a total stick in the mud.

Hiei watched as Oma wheeled around and came in for a landing. The black stallion glanced from left to right before sighing. How could he broach this topic gently? Meh who cared? Hiei gave Oma a grin before merely blurting out, "What's going on with you and your lady friend? The one with sharp teeth?"
Hiei had once seen the mare from afar. It looked as if Oma was trying to get her to leave but Hiei had seen the pelt from the air and had drawn his own conclusion.
Hiei had been secretly seeing a mare outside of the territory and had become fascinated with her every move. She had been a vision from afar at first and now he had been smitten. He had worked up the courage to introduce himself and it seemed as if there was something brewing between them. Morrigan was an unknown variant in his life. The mare was never far from his thoughts and Hiei really wanted to pick Oma's brain.
"Sorry if that was blunt. I am sort of curious though."

Oma looked at him and frowned as he asked him about the skinwalker that he had kept from eating Soco. He growled and curled his lips back. "Do not talk to me about her! She is not a lady friend! I will never do anything with that lady! She tried to talk me into something but i will never bed her! She is evil!" he said as he snarled and flicked his tail with a stomp of his pawed foot.
He snorted and took a deep breath and tried to calm back down. "I do not know why you need to ask about that raving blood thirsty b***h. She is nothing to me." he said as he thought over the female that he had met that he did like...Thalia...with her pretty hair and her beautiful wings. He sighed and softened a little more trying to calm down. "Why do you ask me about girls Hiei? I do not know much about females are you having meetings with one?" he asked with a curious eyebrow raise.

At times like this Hiei was glad for his darkened coloring. It hid the telltale signs of a blush as Oma's last question registered with the stallion. He went over the rest of the story as he shuffled his wings awkwardly. It was a delay tactic mainly as Hiei muttered softly to himself. Turnaround was fair play. He had asked his brother about a mare and now he was on the receiving end of a return interrogation. Finally the warmth from his cheeks faded and Hiei sighed before merely dipping his head in response to Oma's question.
"I might be having meetings with one. Does your definition of meetings count if you can't go a single day without wanting to see her?"
Hiei sighed and scratched at the earth with his front paws. They had been lucky to find a place in which they could settle down and the herd had expanded quite a bit with other members coming and joining. "What do you think Daisuke would say if he knew?"Tiger_Kisa699 Did you want to continue this Kisa?
