Somewhere in the hubbub of Bloodfest nestles a warm yellow booth emitting a soft, inviting glow from the lanterns lining the window. The booth is welcoming enough, yet somehow, there seems to be a lot going on, and it certainly matches the owner. The cheery yellowblood bouncing around behind the counter with a sucker in her mouth seems eager to speak to and please each and every troll that comes her way, determined to get them to participate in the numerous activities she has. The presence of a scarred-up greenblood behind the counter is a little off-putting. He idly chews on a sucker while watching passersby, offering a dangerous, shark-tooth grin to any who make eye contact. Every once in a while he calls out in a hoarse voice for trolls to “get their a** over here and show a little spine.” Because playing cute games totally equates to having a spine. Leaning against the wall in the shadows behind the counter is a long rifle.

      Elidae: In!
      Kursha: In!

A straightforward game that gets you some nifty prizes if you're lucky enough! Simply pick a sucker from the board and check to see what prize you receive depending on the number written on the stick! Players will roll a 1d100 to determine their troll's sucker number. This game can be played once per day. You may play as many of your trolls as you would like with this game, but only the troll who wins gets to keep the prize.

1-29 xxxWhoops! Looks like you picked too low a number to win anything. Elidae gives you an apologetic smile. Free lollipop, though! Yum!

30-69 xxxLow tier prize! Hey, its something, right?!

70-84 xxx Looks like you made it to the Mid Tier (or lower)! Get yourself some moderately cheap-looking novelty to take home!

85-94 xxx Wait- is that? It looks a little smudged, but... yep, its right! Go ahead and pick something from Top Tier (or lower)!

95-100 xxx Whoa! Luck's on your side tonight! Pick one prize from the ultra special rare tier (or lower)!

Numbers 25, 50, and 75 all have the opportunity to pick another sucker, giving the chance to win two prizes for the day!

There seems to be a huge jar full of tiny, milti-colored paper stars on the counter. The yellowblood notices you taking a look and gleefully bounces over towards you, then slides a piece of paper and pen in your direction. She leans forward on the counter with a big smile. "Go on, take a good look and then write down your name and your guess on how many are in there! We change the amount daily, so if you don't guess right today, perhaps you'll get it right tomooorrooow~!" She winks and takes your filled out slip, stashing it in a box behind her.

To play, please fill out the form below and pick a number between 1 - 200. At the end of each day around reset time, blackbird cake will randomly generate a number between 1 - 200 to determine how many items are in the jar. Only one of your trolls can guess a number each day. You can alternate between trolls, if you wish. Winners are as follows:

Closest Number: A Bloodfest ticket! And 10 ribbons!
      Runner-up: 5 ribbons
      Second Runner-up 3 ribbons

If a player guesses the exact number, they receive not only a Bloodfest ticket, but 100 ribbons as well.

If you're looking for a bit of a creative challenge, Elidae is holding a contest that puts your imagination to the test! When you're in an artistic field, sometimes you have to make due with what you're given and make it work. The point of the game is to use your creativity to design a brand new hair style using the materials you roll.

To enter the contest, roll 4d6s. Following the numbers below, determine what form and other items you are required to incorporate into your design. If you are unhappy with what you got, Elidae will take pity and let you reroll only once... however... you risk rolling even worse, as you cannot revert back to your original roll. So, if you take that reroll, you're stuck with it! Forever! Afterwards, you have until May 14th to submit your entry.

Entries can be of any creative medium: drawings, descriptive text (must be 300 words or more), clipped art, etc. Your entry will be judged based on the creative use of each item and overall inspiration. As long as you incorporate each thing into your design, you can do anything you wish. Just think 'Chopped' but with hair.

The winner of this contest wins portrait art of their troll flaunting their hairstyle design by blackbird cake (aka Elidae will toootally make it happen! If you'd like to PRP this out, we can!). Also, every applicant will be given 15 ribbons for their participation after they have submitted their entry!

To one side of the booth is an area dedicated to what looks to be... ah, paper snowflakes! Like the kind you made when you're a wiggler! Or- well, if you are a wiggler, here's a pair of scissors and just go to town! The station has multiple pairs of scissors and plenty of white paper to clip away at to make the prettiest, most special snowflake you can! Elidae insists you write your name and one special thing about you on the back so she can hang it around the booth for others to see.

Create a paper snowflake to display in Elidae's booth!

Doing this activity awards 10 ribbons but will only be awarded for your first snowflake. However, you can create and submit as many snowflakes as you wish for fun! Simply fill out the form below, making sure to include an image of the snowflake you made!

    THE PINATA LIVES

On the other side of the booth, there's what looks to be a set up for a classic game involving brandishing a bat and beating relentlessly at a papier-mâché beast for its delicious confectionery entrails: a piñata!

Before you can say no, the freckled yellowblood hands you the bat and blinds you with a strip of black cloth. She grabs your shoulders and spins and spins and spings, then cheerily exclaims, "You can do iiiit! Yaaaay!" while thrusting you out into the fray.

Elidae adjusts the difficulty based on age, so no need to worry, children! She assures you don't need your lusus to swing a bat!

    Quote:
    HOW TO PLAY

Pinata Palooza works very similar to a Mini-Boss with a few adjustments to fit the event. Each participant starts out with 25 stamina. This lasts for the whole week of bloodfest. Once you run out of stamina, you are out of the game! Players will roll 2d6s, the first number determining how much stamina is lost when referred to the chart below, and the second being damage made to the pinata. Each damage counts! Low numbers don't nullify damage! Players have 3 tries per day, adding up damage made from each try to get the best, most possible damage they can to the pinata. And you can most definitely roll 6d6s!

If you roll a 1, you take one step forward, then immediately feel so nauseous that you fall over, landing face first in the snow. Ouch. Lose 4 stamina.
If you roll a 2, you slip and entirely miss. The bat goes flying in the air, coming down straight on your head. Lose 2 stamina.
If you roll a 3, you swing and swing and finally hit the thing, but twirl straight into the side of the booth. Lose 1 stamina. Win 2 ribbons.
If you roll a 4, you make a distinctive hit, yet when you lift the blind fold, its soulless gaze mocks you for your deplorable efforts. Lose 1 stamina. Win 3 ribbons.
If you roll a 5, a gut shot! You make a sizeable dent, but the pinata is not giving up so easily. Lose 0 stamina. Win 4 ribbons.
If you roll a 6, you smack the pinata right in its smug face! Is that a piece of candy you spy? Deal double damage and lose 0 stamina. Win 5 ribbons.

In your posts, please clearly include your stamina and damage, adding and subtracting what is necessary. Your stamina should carry over to the next day, and the next, and the next, etc. Your damage must be tallied up for the day in your last try.

DAILY PRIZES

Most Damage: Bloodfest Raffle Ticket and 10 ribbons
    Second Most: 5 ribbons
    Third Most: 3 ribbons

OOC PRIZES

Each participant who plays 3 rolls a day will have their name put on a raffle list for each day for the chance to win fully rendered artwork drawn by Birdie that will be RNGed at the end of Bloodfest. There will be two winners, one fullbody and one portrait. Players will have their name only put in once per day, even if they play multiple trolls.

Below is the plethora of prizes for your troll to pick from if they win! You don't need notify if you win something from the games, but you do need to notify if you're getting a prize by ribbons!

Ribbons are basically Elidae's own ticket system for her booth. Using ribbons as currency in this booth (and only this booth) is entirely optional, but it greatly increases your chances of getting your hands on some loot!

If you are going to use the ribbon system, please keep note of how many ribbons you have in each post. When you want to exchange ribbons for a prize, you must quote blackbird cake with all the posts where you were given them (including those in other booths). You can gift prizes and ribbons to other trolls, but you must roleplay the exchange out for it to be valid.

Rasali was finally beginning to get into the Bloodfest spirit. The crowds of strangers that once filled her with dread of being swarmed by royalists now provided an excellent cover. None of these people knew who she was. She could be anyone! She experimented with walks as she strolled down the aisles of booths. Eventually she settled on a swagger with a head held high enough to peer down her nose at trolls from beneath her heavy bangs.

There were some Rasali-isms that couldn't be entirely phased out, however. A love of sparkles was one of them. And boy did this booth deliver.

What Rasali had initially thought to be rhinestones were actually fruity suckers. (Even better!) Rasali looked to the signage to make sure it was okay to take one and pulled off a yellow candy. Hopefully it would be lemon and not banana...

Rasali examined the number attacked to her sucker's stick. "Oh!" While Rasali was delighted to win a prize, she halted when she remembered her persona. She cleared her throat and tried to pitch her voice down and retrieve that packet of pop rocks that was calling to her. Er, to Peikoe.

Rasali tried not to panic as she noticed the booth's manager. She was cute. Like, actually cute in a fashionable knows-what-she's-wearing-and-why kind of way. Rasali braced herself and hoped she wouldn't be marked for the fraudulent fashionista she was. Aandes could only do so much for her sense of style.

Now this seemed like a nice, safe booth to play in for a while! Easily recognizing the cheery yellowblood behind the counter, Lorata brightened and moved in closer to investigate and say hello. "Elidae! I didn't know you were going to have a booth! This is all so cute!" Bouncing lightly with excitement, and then immediately stopping because ouch that still hurt a little, she took a quick look around at all the games to consider. And then froze to stare, instead, at the prizes. To be more specific, at the rare prizes.

"Oh my glub," she whispered in quiet awe. She'd been so happy that Regina had given her another chance at a bobblehead with her booth, but this was...A bobblehead of the Captain...Determination filled her. She was definitely going to get one. She would not rest until she had one. Whirling to look at the games again, she made a beeline for the luckypop draw. Quick and easy, it was the best start with on her quest. She just needed-

The seadweller paused, staring down at the lollipop she'd drawn and then glanced back up and over at Elidae. But no...Elidae wouldn't have sabotaged her. Surely not her. Then...A test! She'd have to work extra hard for the Captain. R-right. She tore the wrapper off of it, stuck it into her mouth, and then turned to stare very hard at the jar of paper stars. Then, eyes blazing, she scribbled down the obviously right answer.

The festival was bright and wonderful, full of many interesting trolls! But there was one in particular Nucleo was on a mission to go see. He still couldn't get that taste out of his mind, nor the question of who was that guy she'd been with earlier? Making his way through the maze, the greenblood felt his pumpbiscuit boom with the anticipation of seeing her again.

"Elidae!" Waving the moment he spotted her, the boy slipped through the crowd and approached her counter. She looked just as cute as she had the previous times he'd seen her. Wearing a scarf to match her trademark bow, he smiled at the playfulness of the gesture.

Unfortunately for him, she was swarmed with other trolls, just as she had been during the Tuskbeast Exchange. Well no matter, he could stand to the side and wait-

Wait.

Was that? No. Yes. It was.

'What the froth is he doing here?' Frowning slightly, Nucleo eyed Kursha slinking around the booth. He tried to tell himself it was nothing to be worried about but he couldn't help it. The older troll was clearly important to Elidae and from the way she kept peeking at him with that little smile...

'I don't know.' Unsure of what to think, the boy watched her a little longer, noting she had a lollipop sticking out of her mouth. Wanting to be just a little closer to her, he plucked one of a matching color from her display.

Lorata wasn't done yet, of course. There were more games to play. And she knew exactly which one she needed to try next, after watching a tall redblood have at it. That pinata could very well be the key to everything! Elidae's excitement about letting her play only cemented the idea. She could do this! For the Captain! Except, maybe it was kind of hard. It took a little while for her to even hit the thing, even though she was putting her all into every swing, and a couple of times she even stumbled into the side of the booth. She'd gotten one really good hit in though, she could tell! She'd heard the THUD!

Rastin Morden

Rastin, now moderately calm, continued to peruse the booths after finding his still without players. Hopefully whatever booth he ended up at next wasn't as crazy as the others he'd been through. He was starting to grow weary of all this excitement.

"Pick a lollipop, win a prize?" He muttered, his gaze running along the stand carefully. "Sounds innocent enough..."

He reached out slowly, plucking a blue sucker from the board, and read the number on the stick. 68, huh? That won him a low tier prize apparently. He smiled to himself.

"I guess I'll take a large lollipop instead. It could help my mood." He shrugged, moving further into the booth to claim his prize. However, the jar of paper stars on the counter caught his attention first. It couldn't hurt to take a guess, right? He puckered his lips and quickly filled out a slip.

Tamiya rolled on over to Elidae’s booth. It was colorful and included a fantastic destructible party animal. Perfect. She could use a good venting game, and this target was just the thing for her. Tamiya cracked her knuckles, got off of her Segway and put on the blindfold. She spun and spun, and after a single brilliant swing to the horrible jaw of the Pinata, she flopped over in the snow. Tamiya vaguely felt the bat land on the back of her head and picked herself up shortly after. Her blindfold fell off… For her to discover some candy in the snow! The head trauma was worth it after all.

Sascha wasn't sure if the booth he was approaching was really that glitzy, or if his head injury was catching up with him. Either way he was loving what he saw. Colors! Candy! Ribbons! And a variety of other shinies Sascha felt the overwhelming need to possess.

He was about to rush the booth when he noticed a flyer detailing a contest. Sascha enjoyed beating people at stuff he was good at, and whatever involved colors and lights and being generally eye-catching was probably directly in his wheelhouse.

It turned out to be advertising a hair design contest. Sascha subconsciously brushed his shoulder-length hair behind an ear. It had grown out recently. (Better for swishing and flipping for dramatic effect.) He had a decent amount to work with. Besides, what was the worst he could do? He cut his own bangs and split ends at the very least.

Sascha crinkled the edges of the flyer as the ideas started percolating.
