
She had spent the night in an old tree after attempting to make friends with another lioness that she met the previous day. Unfortunately for her, the other lioness was in no mood pick up any traveling companions and had moved on.
Typically something so trivial would not have affected her past the day of its occurrence. However, Suhailah's buried feelings of loneliness and isolation were beginning to present themselves more and more in her daily life. It was causing her to approach others with less of a sense of caution and more of a sense of longing. She was starting to crave companionship.
In fact, she was even starting to think that it might be time for her to find herself a home somewhere at some point. Her only reservations were having to conform to the culture and customs of any community that she'd be interested in being a part of.
With a sigh, the lioness decided to halt her thoughts for the time being in favor of relieving her boredom.
