The streets of Hinas, lined with shops, businesses, apartment buildings, and homes. The city itself seems slighty warn and old, but not to the point that it's uninhabitable. In fact it is hardly actually in bad shape. The insides of the buildings are comfortable, orderly (depending on who owns them of course), and well taken care of. You would think there would be an effort made to repair and fix up the city, but the people living there seem content with the way things are, and uninterested in changing it.

"I'm not doing this to take over the city, my only intentions are to protect it." ________________________________________________ Kasienka Azriel Yanamai ________________________________________________ ❃✴❀ ▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬ The day was slow going, the sun easing it's way across the sky in a dragging, painfully slow arc. It was mid-afternoon just about, and already Kas just wanted to go back to his home and sleep. It wasn't like him, usually he was full of more energy than this, but right then, he felt like his body was just barely managing to keep itself moving as he made his way slowly through the streets of Hinas. It didn't help that the day seemed a bit warm for him, which wasn't often a problem, despite the layers of clothing he usually chose to wear. In fact there were a lot of things that seemed to feel a bit off about the day, though what those were exactly, he couldn't quite manage to put a finger on. Although there was one feeling he absolutely couldn't manage to ignore, that had been pushing rather harshly at the back of his mind. An eerie quiet. A strange, peaceful feeling that, while one may not see it as a bad thing, only served to create a contradicting tension building up along side it, hiding in it's shadow, just waiting to take over and then snap.
As he moved to cut across a small plaza, and up a small set of stairs that lead up to the next street level, he found himself coming to a rather sudden stop. It wasn't because he'd seen anything out of the ordinary or anything like that, but rather because a thought had suddenly struck him, leaving him standing there, staring out towards the street, barely registering the cars speeding by. Pale golden eyes narrowed slightly as the male let himself wonder deeper into his thoughts. What if the feeling he was getting wasn't due to him simply having a bit of an off day, and it was instead, something of a more serious issue? The last time he'd gotten a feeling like this, there was a war that broke out. Bloodshed, and an entire race being nearly wiped out. Well, at least in Xuna they were.
However he suspected they hadn't actually been taken out, and that instead they were simply hiding somewhere, waiting for their time to strike. Though Kas wasn't entirely sure how he felt about that. It could very well just start another war, and with how much the other races seemed to have changed in their fights against people, or in the way they handled people and other situations, it honestly worried him more than it reassured. He wasn't sure how he'd feel if the demons rose back into power right then. On one hand, he knew he'd be happy for them, because then that would mean they had taken back what was rightfully theirs to begin with, but then, he also knew he'd probably become a bit nervous, and on edge about it all, depending on how they went about doing so. While Dima, the gov who ran Reim now, had his issues, and yes he definitely ******** up, big time, the guy was still in a way his friend, and he did have his good points.... Even if those were usually buried beneath layers of cruelty and a bitter hatred for his own race. Honestly the man had him conflicted. All of the governors did. Even his old time friend Ambrosios.
"I would like to say, that I'm more than likely simply imaging things, but since when has my instinct ever been wrong? At least for when it comes to situations like this. Something big is coming isn't it? It's just a matter of what that thing is going to be." The male thought aloud, though his voice was still rather quiet, barely a whisper as he sensed someone behind him, moving up the stairs to pass by him. Whoever it was had a rather negative energy about them, and it was hard to miss. It could have simply been that they were stressed out and in a bad mood, but whatever the case Kas found himself moving away from where he'd stopped, choosing to do so somewhat slowly so as not to make it obvious that they were the reason for his actions. He wasn't scared of them, but at the same time, he didn't really want to start a fight or have to deal with someone flipping out on him for whatever reason they might have to.'What are you all doing now? Ras, Ambrose, Ereos, Dima, and even you, new guy. Ashe. What are you all doing, and what will you all do If and or when this all gets out of hand? Will you just make it worse like you did in the past? Or are you actually going to do your jobs, and keep the peace instead of mindlessly following orders..'
Perhaps that line of thought was a bit harsh, but could you really blame him, when in the past he was forced to take part in some of the war, though not personally, at the risk of losing his city and his peaceful people? Those who had lived in Hinas had pulled away from Zlido to start the, at the time, new city, and that in turn had in some way, despite his own presence having been there, separated them from it's total control. Kas had made the city a peaceful place to live in, one that had no real interest in growing too large, that just wanted to be left in peace and that enjoyed the quiet they were surrounded by. He had made a place people could come to, in order to simply relax and not have to deal with the chaos of the bigger cities, or the seemingly growing need to join a side. Granted for some time the city was simply just another city. An off shoot of Zlido made to stop the need of having the main city grow too large, but after the other cities started to form around them, and the tension began to rise, Kas had known he needed to separate himself and Hinas, at least a little, from the rest of the govs and the main city itself. That way he could keep them all from being pulled down with everyone else when that tension finally decided to snap..
That was all in another time, however, and thinking on it now wasn't going to help him any. There wasn't anything he could do to change the past, and since he had chosen to leave, to stop being a part of the circle the other govs made up, there was only so much he could do to influence the situation now anyways. What point was there in thinking on it all? Honestly, the only thing he could think to do, was to protect the city him and...what used to be his people, had chosen to call their home. Not to control it, as he had no interest in doing so, but rather to make sure their way of life wasn't disturbed or changed by those outside forces that had interest in doing so. He'd been doing what he could on his own, to chase of, discourage, or fight off any possible threats to the city's stability, but things were getting to be much to difficult to handle on his own, and he had to admit, it was starting to wear him down a little. He had to stay vigilant at all times, or at near all times anyways, and always had to be prepared for any possibility of attack that might be made on Hinas.
He just wanted his people...no..the city, to be able to continue on with their peaceful ways. Even if that meant Kas had to do the opposite, and handle all of the non-peaceful situations, he didn't care. Let him get the blood on his hands. It was better than making the entire city suffer...
"I won't let anyone get in the way of this city's peace and quiet. Not the gangs, whether big or small, not the other governors, not even the military. They can claim all they want, that all they wish to do is protect us...but in reality, all that ever turns into is them trying to control as well. No matter how good their intentions, it usually ends up in one way, with them having the goal of protecting you from danger, but most of the time at the cost of your freedom. Not only that, but it can change the way everyone is used to being able to live their lives." He muttered aloud, once again, as he moved, a little more swiftly now, through the streets of the city, his gaze drifting up towards the sky, flecks of an almost metallic gold near making them seem to glow slightly as the light of the sun caught on them.
"Maybe it really is time I start to make my move on getting people together to help me with my goal. I don't know how much longer I can handle this on my own. I already have a few people in mind..the question is, whether they would be willing to accept my request for them to join me. Some of them seem to prefer to keep themselves in an even more neutral position than this. I guess...for when the time comes, there will be only one way to find out." ▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬ ❀✴❃ ________________________________________________ Gilded Illumination ________________________________________________ "I will take up arms against anyone who would threaten the peace of this city."

Virtue, Honor, The Greater Good... All lies to cover up the struggle for power...

_______________________________________________________________ Current Music: [Venice Rooftops] _______________________________________________________________
Winds whipped through his short ebony hair, his ice blue eyes focused on the world before him and yet focused on nothing at all as he cut swiftly through the walls of stagnant air. Disrupting the piece. The sky above him was clear, the clack of his black boots against the rooftops high above the commotion of below as people stirred throughout their day. This was the city that his family had called home and one that he loved. Throughout all that had happened the city itself had always offered him a warm embrace, and when he ran through it, above it, below it, he felt at peace. Some small gesture of solace offered in a chaotic world that had taken from him. Of all the bad, none of it had come from this place. He approached the edge of the building the alleyway below a familiar one where staircases led to the backs of buildings, several times he had slipped through these ways to avoid capture by other forces when he was surviving on his own.
As each step of his black combat boots carried him closer to the edge with no air of slowing he felt his body become light. It wasn’t long ago that he had to intensely focus to have his body do as it should and push him beyond the limits of humanity, but now it was second nature. His body recognized threats, and situations. His own adrenaline and intent fueled his actions and pushed him forward. His legs bent naturally at the last step. He braced then lifted swiftly into the air, arching over the alleyway below his gloved hands out to his side, the whipping winds of open air sifting through his bare fingers. His long sleeved shirt holding fast to his body. As he began his descent his boot contacted with the rooftop pushing his momentum forward he moved alongside it rolling into a summersault before popping back up and pushing off of his other leg forward into a run. This was freedom, the kind he needed after letting his thoughts bog him down. He had been so busy hunting, trying to establish this other persona in order to allow him access to his next step that he had entirely forgotten what it felt like to just run without a clear destination. As he searched below he saw that he was over the market district at this point. Hunger pained him slightly, and this was as good a time as any to stop. He came to the next edge of the building and only gave a leap. Jumping from it to the edge of the one across, he gripped the ledge of the rooftop cross from him, the feeling of the sun warmed concrete on his fingertips. On instinct he jumped backwards from the wall to a drainage pipe. He had come this way so many times that he knew it by heart. He worked his hands down, one under the other as he crawled down placing a foot on the wall to brace his way down. No units faced the alleyway and it was a dead end in the back, away from prying eyes most times. No one ever really cared to look down it anyways.
At a safe distance from the ground he swung out his leg and dropped boots clacking against the earth below as he walked out of the alley and into the shopping district, as soon as he did there were people around him moving to and fro, going to attend to their business, to leave the city streets, or on their way home, the city on this warm day was busy, and free. He felt a force against his waist. As he looked down a small brown haired child smiled up at him, their hands wrapped around his waist, one of the kids from the community center. On occasion he liked to volunteer there. It was out of the way, no one would recognize him, plus the smiles like this one made things very much worth it. He heard his name called and turned his head to see a ruby red orb flying his way. He reached up a gloved palm and the orb made contact as he wrapped his fingers around the cool surface, an apple. It was a vender that was familiar with him, a large smile on his face. He had helped this man once to maintain his stand when it was near breaking. XIII was a stranger to all that knew him before, his former classmates had likely never searched to find him. Even if they did, standing before them would be an entirely different man. He smiled to the stand owner without a word, around here he was well known for his acts, not his words. He didn’t speak much, tried to keep to himself. Most of these people wouldn’t know about the truth behind that incident. Why should they? As long as he continued to be who they perceived as a kind helpful soul. That was enough. He ruffled the kids matted hair and move him to the side. The child looked at the apple that he held in his palm hungrily. It was apparent that he wanted a bit, but couldn’t disappoint the shop owner and not accept his gift. He cupped the apple in his hands with both palms and ran his thumbs along it pressing down and pulling apart until a swift crack broke the fruit into two halves, the juicy droplets sparkling in the warm sun. He handed the boy one piece and took a bite from the other, the fleshy outside of the fruit holding in the juice of the sweet inside. He enjoyed each chew as he walked down the market place district, waving back to the boy and vendor and nodding to all other acknowledgement he received. These were good people, this was a good place, this was home. A home and a peace that the gangs wanted, one that they couldn’t have. Seeing this, being here…it made his work all the more important.

xxxx❖ || Ȥυɦɖɩʝɑ Ʌυɽҽʃɩυϛ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxA brilliant light shines between the folds of night in a forgotten city made of nothing. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • ❖ • ━━━━━━ ❖ || Today had been nice. Though, it felt as if it had gone by rather slow than most days, yet still it was easy going. Zuhdija appreciated that. Well it wasn't like a whole lot went on in the city anyway. Not to say it was dull in anyway, in fact it was lively in it's own way. Without the gangs or the military bothering them, it allowed the city to remain peaceful. With that the people of Hinas carried on with their daily activities,as if protected by some unseen veil that seemed to keep said factions out of the city. It was as if everyone was in some mutual agreement to keeping the city as is, and protecting it when threatened.
He didn't know a whole lot about the past, only a few things here and there said on the streets. But nothing that he could confirm or deny. Either way Hinas seemed to have a certain hold in it's foundations that the other cities did not have. Giving it and the people the ability to keep what was theirs.
"I guess that's just how people are- banning together in times of distress." He spoke quietly to himself, hardly loud enough to hear, as he turned onto another street. His hands folded neatly behind his back as he walked to avoid accidentally brushing up against someone. Now that he thought about it more it actually felt unreal.
Like a dream state that you couldn't quite place.
No matter how hard you tried it wasn't something that you or anyone could ever could ever reach. That isn't to say that no one cared to get to it, but rather left it alone for what it was and what it is. Perhaps that's how things should be. However, it seemed as if things might come to change, for better or for worse he was not one to judge such a thing. Not like he'd ever know until it happened. Zuhdija let out a small sigh as he continued down the sidewalk. He wasn't exactly bothered by the thought of it, nor was he interested in this possible change. The feeling towards it was neutral. He didn't quite believe or feel that it was necessary to dwell on it because in a way whatever happens was going to happen regardless. Even stopping hypothetical things were an event of change on their own. To some these changes were major, to others they were merely small rocks in the road.
Zuhdija stopped walking for a moment, careful to not interrupt someone else walking behind him. Not for any particular reason, he was just reminded of something. Not the usual Nothing Gold can Stay. Rather some obscure fairy tale he couldn't quite recall at the moment. This was going to bother him until he could remember it, maybe later once he was home he'd find it again somewhere. He certainly hoped so or he might just end up losing sleep over it. Running his fingers through his hair he decided to give up on that for now. Personally he'd rather forget it all together.
As he continued walking he spotted a familiar figure a few feet ahead of him. They were going in the same direction, so he felt no rush to try and catch up to the other person.
"Good evening, Kas." He greeted once he caught up to him, quickly taking small note of the other's mood. It really wasn't hard to miss. Not with how he was walking around. "Pardon me if i'm intruding a bit, but you seem a bit off today." He commented, glancing up at Kas, then over to the crowed of people walking in front of them to avoid bumping into one of them.
(( ooc: forgive me for this post. ))

"I'm not doing this to take over the city, my only intentions are to protect it." ________________________________________________ Kasienka Azriel Yanamai ________________________________________________ ❃✴❀ ▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬ At some point during his walk, Kas' thoughts had wondered, as had his gaze, which was, for the moment, focused on the rooftops above. There had been what looked like movement there, and he could have sworn he'd caught sight of a shadow darting over the top of the buildings, but looking now, he wasn't sure whether he had actually seen anything or if it was just his imagination playing tricks on him. It was rather hot outside...so that could have been part of it. Yes. That was probably it. The heat was just messing with his head.
Though he had also just gotten done thinking of how the world seemed to be unusually calm, in an eerie sort of sense, as though some threat was silently building up it's force, getting ready to strike out at any given moment. So simply passing a shadow on the rooftops off as nothing but a figment of imagination probably wasn't the best thing to do. He needed to stay alert. Right now no one could afford to let their guard down. Sadly, not even the civilian's of the city, though he didn't plan on stirring them up, or scaring them by making it known that a new threat might be approaching their peaceful little city. Well, new in a way. The threats were probably mostly the same ones he'd dealt with several times in the past, but he had a feeling that the attempts and efforts were going to be much harsher than they had been already.
Even if they weren't going to be attempts made against Hinas itself, but rather, against another city, he felt he still needed to be cautious. His city was the only truly neutral one after all, and being right in the center of the country...it might be seen as the perfect place to use as a way of getting to the other ones. Not to mention, if even one of the other groups got a hold on Hinas, they would have more of a foothold in Xuna than the rest of them, and that could get dangerous. For more than one reason.
"Good evening, Kas."
The voice broke him, partially at first, away from his thoughts on the possibility of a hostile take over of the city or country, and back to reality. The voice was familiar, but due to his thoughts having wondered, it took him a moment to completely register who it was that had spoken to him. His gaze drifted slowly from the rooftops, and over towards Dija, who he only just now noticed was walking with him, his eyes holding a sort of distant look in them as he tried to pull himself together, but as a seemingly impulsive or instinctive reaction to seeing the other, he managed to offer him a smile, though it was smaller than usual. At what he said next however, he finally seemed to snap completely back into focus.
"Ah, Dija. Hello. I would say good evening myself, but I'm not sure I would consider this to be one. It feels like it's been dragging on..more slowly than usual." He started, greeting the other, his own gaze flicking to the crowd ahead of them as well for a moment, just to see if the other had perhaps caught sight of something odd, before he moved it back to him. Once again he had somehow not sensed the other approaching him, which was not all that unusual with Dija when he was lost in thought, since he always seemed to have a somewhat calm air about him. "Intruding...? Dija, you're fine, you've never really overstepped your boundaries with me before, I doubt you are going to start now. Even if you do try, I'm not really going to get upset with you. You have your reasons, and usually they are good ones... Though....as a response to your comment.."
What exactly should he say? What should he tell him? He wasn't sure if he was quite ready yet to start his attempts at getting people to join him in defending the city. Yes he wanted to start, soon, but right this moment wasn't necessarily when he'd intended to do so. So what could he say to him? He should just be honest, he knew, but being direct about the situation might not necessarily have the best results.
Maybe he should start small? Maybe.
"To say I seem a bit off may be putting it lightly. For one, unlike usual, today just..feels like it's dragging out so slowly, it's almost agonizing. It feels hot enough out here, that it's making me uncomfortable, and seeing as for the most part I wear several layers of clothing and am hardly ever fazed by that sort of thing, that in itself is weird for me." He paused for just a moment, both in his words, and his walking, though he started up moving again a few seconds later.
"Then, there is the fact that I just feel tired. I have next to no energy right now, and that's just not like me at all. As you know.." Sighing, he turned his gaze forward again, where he watched the people in front of him go about their way, moving through the crowd at their own pace, seemingly without a single worry in the world. Though even that felt wrong to him for some reason today. It probably had something to do with the way everything around him felt in general though. "Dija, tell me, have you ever had the feeling that something about the world around you isn't quite right? That something big is about to happen....that maybe.."
"...Maybe you should do something about it?" So much for taking it slow. Though then again it isn't like he was saying straight out that he wanted to do something about it, nor was he saying straight out that he planned on doing something. He had phrased it as a question, one the other may take as just an odd thing asked due to his unusual lack of energy and exhaustion, not to mention the heat, which often made people do and or say crazy things. Though...Dija also seemed rather observant, and obviously had picked up on his mood when he'd approached, not to mention they knew each other well enough. He might pick up that he was rather serious about the issue at hand. Whatever the case, he wouldn't try and pull away from the other to avoid answering anything he might ask. If it was sensitive information he wanted, that might be one thing, depending, but otherwise... No..even then he probably would trust him with it. Dija had never given him a reason to not trust him, and from the start he'd always gotten the feeling that he wasn't a bad guy. Quite the opposite actually. Being around him calmed him down some. "Ah..but here I am being rude. I didn't even ask you how your day has been. I'm sorry Dija..Guess I really am just out of it today."
He shrugged a bit with a somewhat light, but apologetic smile and a quiet laugh. ▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬ ❀✴❃ ________________________________________________ Gilded Illumination ________________________________________________ "I will take up arms against anyone who would threaten the peace of this city."

xxxx❖ || Ȥυɦɖɩʝɑ Ʌυɽҽʃɩυϛ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxA brilliant light shines between the folds of night in a forgotten city made of nothing. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • ❖ • ━━━━━━ ❖ ||Zuhdija shifted his gaze over to Kasienka as he spoke, then glanced back over to the crowed ahead as the other did, barely missing the shadow hop out of view from the rooftops. Considering he had spent most his day lounging around he wasn't all that alert as he saw no need to, nor did he think much of the shadow. As long as whatever or whoever it was kept away it would be fine. Assuming that it actually was something to keep watch of. Though, it was enough to catch Kas' interest. Might as well raise his alertness more than it was before."It does feel like that yes, but it has a certain easiness to it that is rather respectable. A small break to give you time to recollect yourself- at least that's how I see it. But that's good, though my reasons aren't always as sound as I like them to be." He replied with a small grin. Even if the other felt that his reasons where good ones, he still felt there were still issues with it. But, the world was never all that simple and sometimes all there was the most acceptable at the time.
For a moment Kas seemed to be thinking over something, well that was obvious, but something a little more that required him to think it over a bit before he said it. Then the other started to go over it all. Zuhdija listened as the walked along and moved through the crowed. He was hardly fazed by them, unlike with the shadow from earlier. But that seemed to have gone over now.
"Mm, odd isn't it? For you and I the day has been drawn out, but for others," he gave a small nod over to the crowd, "they probably hadn't had the chance to catch a break. However your perspective on it is different. Which isn't a bad thing, but perhaps allow yourself that break? It does seem like you need it." He trailed off, glancing over at Kas for a moment, then returned it to the crowed to carefully weave around some people.
He had to take a moment to actually think about what Kas asked. Honestly he didn't know how to feel about it. His own life had been pretty consistent to how it went and well, he used to be part of the reason why something wasn't right until it happened. At least he had that perspective to look at it from. That build up of anticipation knowing just what you had in store, leaving them only to wonder what was going to happen or what they were going to find. For him it was a much different feeling, however what ever this world had in store, it wasn't him causing it this time. Now he was on the other end of it. The one left waiting for it.It was something t hat Zuhdija didn't know how to place."I can't say I have, i'm not accustomed to feeling like this. All of it feels a bit strange but I tend to just let things happen..." he responded, then paused for a moment. "But I must admit, I haven't really had the chance to do much about something. Ah, you must forgive me, i'm not certain if I've told you before but- i'm a wisp. I've spent most my life spectating, but never thinking much towards any of it." He said with a small sheepish laugh. "But now that you've mentioned it, I feel as if I should do something for once and not just spectate this time. Guess that says something." He laughed lightly once more, pressing his finger tips gently against against each other.
It wasn't that he wanted no part in any of it. If anything, he was more hesitant about certain things because he wasn't sure how he felt on it. Though some considered doing nothing to be just as bad as causing the trouble. Personally he didn't fully agree on that statement for many reasons and factors that played into it, but he could see why and where it could apply.
This world was a troublesome place, one that even after hundreds of years he still was adjusting to a new perspective on it all. Xuna playing with this adjustment even more so.
"Hm? Oh not at all! It's been well as of late, but since you've brought it up- I can't help but to be a little more curious about it than I'd normally would be. "

"I'm not doing this to take over the city, my only intentions are to protect it." ________________________________________________ Kasienka Azriel Yanamai ________________________________________________ ❃✴❀ ▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬ Kas shifted his gaze to Dija, listening as he spoke. It wasn't the easiest thing to do right then, concentrating on his words, as the heat from the sun continued to beat down on him, making him feel even more exhausted than he was before. For a moment he just wanted to close his eyes, but with him walking, that probably wouldn't be the best idea, not to mention, Dija's words were usually rather important to him. He wouldn't let his mind wander off, and felt it would be rather rude if he let his exhaustion get to him while they walked together. Besides, he didn't really have any time to just stop and rest. He wouldn't be able to focus on doing so anyways with the that sense of dread he had hanging over him.
When he heard Dija mention a break however, he did his best to shrug off his exhaustion, so that he could respond, and pay closer attention to everything that was going on around them.
"A break huh?" He brought a hand up, running it through his hair a bit as he thought it over again. It was amusing, actually, how it almost seemed like Dija had read his mind, with the whole taking a break thing. However, he really didn't think he could just let himself do that. He didn't have the time, he never really did, and now he felt like he had even less time. Something was coming, something big, and he doubted it would be just one big thing. "Well, Dija, as nice as that might sound I'm pretty sure I don't have either the time to spare for one, nor will I have that luxury any time soon. The only sort of break I ever get is when I sleep, and I'm not sure that quite counts, as the next morning I'm up and moving again immediately. I mean, what can I say, I'm a busy man." He said with a smile, hands held up a bit as he shrugged and laughed lightly.
His gaze drifted over towards Zuhdija though after a moment as he noticed things had fallen quiet between them. The male seemed to be lost deep in thought himself now, and he wondered what exactly he was thinking, though he chose to stay silent instead of questioning him. After all, Kas had just thrown some of the weight he'd been carrying around at him. He couldn't exactly blame him for having to stop and think on it all. Besides, barely a few seconds later the male was speaking again, answering the question of what he'd been thinking.
Oh right, the wisp thing! Back when the other had first told him about that, he'd found it hard to believe, and was amazed that the man who had been standing before him actually was one. Even now he still found it a bit hard to believe, even though Dija had reassured him that he wasn't kidding. He waited however till the other finished speaking before he responded to him again, a small smile slipping onto his face as he heard his quiet, sheepish laugh, and when he laughed again, bringing his fingers together he finally spoke.
"I do remember you telling me about that. I mean, how exactly could I forget? A wisp? I still find it so hard to believe! I mean, I've never seen a wisp that was able to take the form of a human before, and if I have well they did a very good job of hiding it! I mean it's not like I'm all that young or anything either. Don't worry though I know you are one, no need to try and prove it to me, I get it it's just so...it amazes me even now! And you are so different than people make wisps out to be too. I mean honestly. You're definitely not a bad person." He said, his smile widening as he clapped his hands together once i his excitement.
"It honestly still fascinates me." He added on after a moment. Laughing quietly, before he blinked and gave an apologetic smile."Ah, sorry I should really stop freaking out every time the subject comes up huh? Heh."
"Honestly though, I'm kind of glad that you feel the same way on that. That you feel like you should actually do something about the situation this time rather than just observing. Although I guess I've always been the kind that felt like I had to do something about a problem." He said with a shrug as he wove through the crowd of people around them, his gaze flicking to the sky for a moment, to see how if the sun had made anymore progress. Well, it wasn't like if it had he'd be able to tell, since it just felt like the day was dragging on either way. He at least knew it hadn't really gotten any darker than it was before. He just wanted night to be there already. Maybe then it wouldn't be as hot out. "Oh? It's good that nothing too serious seems to have happened with you at least, and I suppose I should apologize for making you break your peaceful times with these sorts of thoughts...I do have my reasons though for being like this...more than just because today felt especially off. These things have been stuck on my mind for quite a while now."
Should he tell him now then? Was that a good idea? He did get a confirmation that he actually felt like he should do something about the situation this time...but was that enough to go off of? He certainly thought he would be a good person to have with him in the group, he definitely trusted Dija enough. If he hadn't he wouldn't have even told him about what he was before. Yet he did.
"Think of this in whatever way you want, but, if an opportunity came up to try and at least do something to protect a place like say..this city..from whatever is coming...what do you think you might do? I mean..I think I would take that opportunity but, that's me..." He started, glancing over at Dija, just barely managing to dodge around a person who seemed to be a bit on the oblivious side of the things going on around them in the crowd as he did so. He glanced over towards that person for a moment, but after a few seconds he turned back to Dija, then looked up at the sky, before taking a quick look around them. There were a lot of people around them it seemed. Was there more than there had been a few moments ago? Or had he really just been that lost in thought? "Ah...maybe we should find some place a little easier to deal with to talk about all this, what do you think? I haven't really eaten today...what about you? Maybe we can try and find some place to eat...unless you have some other idea on where we can go? I'm fine with whatever. It's just this crowd is a bit difficult to deal with right now."

He moved slowly at first, after making certain the streets were clear of people. At least, as clear as it would ever be when it grew late. He wanted to find answers, to who or what he was, and this cycle had only recently started when he wasn't searching for food. There was plenty in the cemetery to eat after all. He exhaled a soft sigh, before he caught sight of his reflection in a broken mirror propped up against the wall of a building. It made him flinch, the sight of so many stitches caused his chest to ache.
His hands shook as he brought one up to touch the stitches on his face.

xxxx❖ || Ȥυɦɖɩʝɑ Ʌυɽҽʃɩυϛ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxA brilliant light shines between the folds of night in a forgotten city made of nothing. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • ❖ • ━━━━━━ ❖ || "I suppose it really can't be helped nor could I ever force you," Zuhdija laughed lightly and shook his head, "but at least try to take it easy every now and then, you can only handle so much before you wear yourself out." He laughed lightly once more, though, it was more at the memory of realizing that there were a lot of physical limitations to having a body. After all, making the switch from constant ball of energy to something that needed a constant supply was no easy task. It was even more interesting to learn that emotions played into it as well, but that was a different story. One in which he understood the point of 'treating yourself'.
So he did tell Kas. That was good, it would have been awkward if he did forget to mention it. Even then explaining the whole thing was kind of wild regardless and hard to believe. At least it made an interesting conversation starter."I don't blame you, it is an odd thing to hear. Even now I still can't believe it happened." He then frowned. "Well they aren't entirely wrong on how we are, myself included at that. It's like an instinct thing with animals. We act one way for the most part based solely on what we know and are capable of understanding. However, being thrown into different situations called for a change."
"I suppose I didn't have to change, but it was just better that I did. I was now part of something more and I was capable of now understanding that. It certainly took a bit of work, but why stay in one spot when you have the chance to move forward? Even if it's at a slow painful crawl, at least its progress to something better and proof that you are something more." He smiled softly, then realized he went on a small monologue."Sorry," he apologized with small smile.
Zuhdija noticed that he had been a little to fixated on the conversation when he almost bumped into another person. He mumbled to a small apology, before continuing to walk alongside with Kas.
As he listened to Kas go on, he couldn't help but to gain a deeper respect for him. Not that he didn't already have one for him. "Nothing wrong about wanting to lend a hand in times of need." Zuhdija didn't really feel like he had much to offer on that given what was already said, even with the reassurance. It just didn't feel like it was enough.
He shook his head slightly, "it's quite alright. Hearing other's thoughts on matters is always welcomed, regardless of what it may be."
For a moment Kas seemed to be hung up on something. As far as Dija knew, the other was one to eventually speak up on something. Or in some manner, which depended on certain factors. Which was understandable. And he did.
Dija took a moment to think about that, he knew his answer, it was more on how he wanted to respond. Or rather how he wanted to word it. "Talking about it hypothetically yes, but despite all these changes, im not sure if that is an opportunity I could face if it were staring me down.Perhaps out of fear of not knowing what it is I should do in that moment or if im even capable of doing anything. I guess time will only tell," he admitted, wishing he had a more solid answer on that. However, there was no point in trying to work himself up to it if he wasn't sure. "Perhaps. I had something small to eat but goodness Kas I know you're busy but still. I do have to agree on you about the crowd." He was really thankful for that suggestion, especially since he had almost bumped into someone. There was a chance he did with a couple of others and didn't notice.

"I'm not doing this to take over the city, my only intentions are to protect it." ________________________________________________ Kasienka Azriel Yanamai ________________________________________________ ❃✴❀ ▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬ He supposed he could at least do that, try and take it a bit easier every once in a while at least, even if not for long periods of time. It wasn't like he really had the extra time to allow that anyways. Granted he probably could if he chose to ignore a lot of the strange activity that occurred in and out of the city. He couldn't do that though. It was too much of a risk in his eyes.
After all, despite the city generally being rather calm and neutral, that didn't mean it didn't have it's fair share of problems. Crime wasn't non-existent, and though they had a standard police force in the city itself, it wasn't like they could really handle the more...unique, civilians that might be causing problems for them. There were a few more serious problems in the city that the police probably couldn't handle alone. Like the man that had a habit of causing small bits of chaos around Hinas, enough so that some of the people that lived there seemed to be afraid of him. He wouldn't doubt the guy probably caused problems outside of it as well, but that he couldn't prove without looking into it further. Ah well. He just had to keep an eye on everything so he could put a stop to anything too serious that might happen.
"Well..I mean I suppose there's no harm in at least trying to take it a bit easier sometimes...I just can't promise I'll be able to convince myself to do so all that often." He said quietly after a few moments of quiet on his end. He hadn't missed what else Dija had said of course, he was just a bit lost in thought on everything going on and on what the other said in general. Well he wouldn't have said anything much but he felt he needed to at least respond to his comment on the change from wisp to "human". "Ah yeah, changes between two extremes definitely isn't the easiest of things to adjust to I know. I myself haven't lost all of my past habits honestly. Not easy to do when it's something that's just a part of your nature." He paused and looked over towards the other though after a few more moments of silence as he lost himself to his thoughts again. Although he didn't lose himself enough to not hear what Dija had to say.
"Oh Dija..you seem to be enough of a calm, and calculating person, who is pretty good at reasoning things out that I am sure you could handle it. As bad as you may have thought you were when you were just a wisp, you just followed what was in your nature. Nothing wrong with that. Instincts can help with a lot of things, with the right people. They probably would also help you a lot with things in a situation like I mentioned. I mean, I for one would trust you to have my back if it were me who asked you if you were willing to do something about the possible upcoming chaos." .
"Ah..yes..I know. Sorry I'll try and take better care of myself at least. Heh...." He started, cutting off for a moment as someone bumped into him, turning with an apology before continuing along their way. Maybe they should get themselves moving. " Yeah..definitely a busy day it seems, for at least some of them...Ah but let's get moving. I know a decent place we can stop at. We can talk more there."
- - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Of course though they had continued talking once at the restaurant, Kas had elected to not bring back up the whole, what if someone asked you to help with the upcoming chaos, thing again. At least, for the moment. He could tell the other wasn't all too comfortable talking about the subject. Or that he at least was very conflicted on the whole thing. Well at least he had mentioned it in a more hypothetical way rather than straight out asking him if he'd be willing. He would have to find some other way to approach him on the subject.
Actually, it made him wonder how he was actually going to approach the other people he wanted to ask to join him. There was another person he knew to an extent at least that he wanted to ask as well, and he couldn't even begin to figure out how he was going to bring it up to him. There was also the man who wondered the streets at night. The one he had watched for quite some time, who seemed to keep a distance from the rest of the civilians in Hinas. Though most didn't seem to mind him being around, despite his odd appearance. He'd only really stopped to talk to him a few times, when he happened to bump into him, and he never got the feeling he was a bad person, despite his appearance. After all, appearances were quite often deceiving. Some of the sweetest looking people could actually be extremely toxic and cruel or cold. While some of the most dangerous looking of people could actually be the sweetest of them.
He didn't really know much about the mans capabilities ability wise, nor did he really know too too much about his personality other than that he seemed to shy away from others, and other than what he'd seen from the few small interactions he'd had with him before, but he knew enough that he felt he might be a good asset to the group he wanted to form. Although talking a bit more to him might help clear some more things up on what all he might know that could help them. Such as, what he knew about Hinas itself, what he might know about the cities outside of Hinas, or the areas outside of it at the least. Knowing something about his abilities would be nice as well but it wasn't a necessity. Really a drive to help protect the city, and some kind of strength to do so was enough for him. Whether that be knowledge, intellect, literal physical strength, strong will and personality, or abilities that could help. It didn't matter, as long as you were willing to help, and as long as you didn't harbor any ill intent towards the city or it's people.
"Oh...I think I might have gone quiet on you there for a bit...my apologies Dija. Got a bit lost in thought." He said, suddenly speaking up after at what he figured was at least a good ten minutes of silence. Between when he'd gone quiet at the restaurant and when they had left and had begun walking again. He felt bad that he'd stopped talking all the sudden before, but his mind was racing. There were so many things that could go wrong with his plan. He just hoped he could manage to get them all together somehow. If not, then he wouldn't complain, but it still would be a bit disappointing nonetheless. Not to mention he'd have to find a way to handle the problems either on his own or with an even smaller force than he'd originally planned. Hell there was even an android he'd have to convince and he wasn't entirely sure how he would manage that.
"Had hoped that eating would solve this problem but I guess not. Heh. Although I can honestly say that I am glad that it's night now. Much cooler out here than it was before." He said smiling a bit as he turned his gaze up to the sky for a moment. The moon was making it's climb into the sky, slowly, but not quite as slowly as the sun had been before. He just hoped the next day wasn't as long and hot as it was then, but something told him he shouldn't get his hopes up too much.
Bringing his gaze back down and turning it to Dija he smiled again, forgetting to watch where he was going for the moment. Though he did have the time to say something before he came to regret his lack of awareness.
"So where to now? Or are you heading off for the..." He started before his words were cut off when he found himself suddenly bumping into someone who had just stepped out from an alleyway. It was hard enough to stop him dead in his tracks but not hard enough to, luckily, really knock him over, and hopefully to not knock over the person he'd run into. He had caught something from the corner of his eye at the last second which had allowed him to lessen the impact at least a bit, but it hadn't been enough to completely prevent it.
"Oh..damn. I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was...Oh it's you! Ah..wait you never told me your name. Um. Well. Not even sure you remember me either though. Not like we talked all that often. Sorry about running into you. I wasn't really watching where I was going. Wow is today a really off one for me."

The streets had been relatively empty after all. So when Kas walked right into him he blinked being forced from his thoughts. He stumbled just a little bit before correcting his footing to keep him from hitting the ground. Nolan had opened his mouth ready to apologize, for having been in the way and even for letting another person see him before he heard Kas' voice and finally looked at his face.
Nolan recognized him, but not from where he had seen him before. Was it during the few times he left the cemetery? Or had he been in that crypt before as well? His mind was full of such hazy thoughts before he finally spoke up at long last. "You don't need to apologize. I'm sorry for having stood in your way." He apologized instead, wrapping an arm around his own waist to help hide the stitches as best he could.
"My name?" Nolan had forgotten he never told anyone his name, not that he could remember the name he was born with. He only remembered the name he had chosen. "My name is....Nolan Takeda Tyler..." He answered softly, despite his deep voice. "You can call me...Whatever you like..."

xxxx❖ || Ȥυɦɖɩʝɑ Ʌυɽҽʃɩυϛ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxA brilliant light shines between the folds of night in a forgotten city made of nothing. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • ❖ • ━━━━━━ ❖ ||It was good to hear that Kas would at least try, even if he said he couldn't make any promises about doing it often. At least it was something. However there were still mild concerns of the other overworking himself. Though working at the spa couldn't have made him that tired, right? Maybe these concerns of his wasn't a hypothetical. For now Zuhdija chose not to overthink it, instead he would wait to see what actually was up since it seems that there was something more he didn't pick up quite yet. At least, that was under the assumption that this wasn't all that hypothetical, but he would still keep it in mind.
Zuhdija nodded in agreement. It wasn't a bad nor good thing, it simply just was. Unfortunately there wasn't much to be done there.
"Thank you, but I supposed the only way to say for certain is if something happened." He wasn't trying to discredit himself or Kas, he would just rather keep in the mind that there was a chance that he might not do anything at all.
He nodded once more and let Kas lead the way.
• ❖ •
Zuhdija appreciated the change of topic, not because it made him uncomfortable or anything, just that he really wasn't sure about it. It got him thinking about the subject at least. To him it was better to be aware of something even if he had mixed feelings about it or just wasn't sure. Perhaps if he thought about it a little more he could answer it a bit more confidently. At least not only was he thinking about it, he already had some input on the topic and if he was ever curious about it again he knew he could talk to Kas since he was the one who brought it up.
For awhile it went a bit quite, which was fine. It actually made him start to think more on the fact that the other was serious in the sense that something was bound to happen. Especially since he often seemed so caught up in his thoughts. Then the silence was broken. He shook his head slightly. "It's quite alright," he reassured him, "but actually, out of curiosity what do you think become of this city? Between the gangs and the military I mean."He added, deciding to indirectly bring up the topic with a different approach to it. He wanted to know if this might be related to how he felt earlier this evening."I'd like to think a lesser of two evils type thing, but regardless of either of those choices it seems like neither side would let that stand and try to take it or reclaim this place. Once it starts it wouldn't end, but if it did Hinas just wouldn't be the same. Maybe he had been looking at Kas' question the wrong way. Perhaps it didn't mean so much as there was a solid injustice where it was right or wrong, but rather, is there something he'd like to preserve because it aligned with how he liked or viewed it. Though, it seems it might have to depend from person to person. On what it all meant to them individually.
"All is well, but yes night does seem to be more kinder. He laughed lightly and continued on. It didn't bother him much either when, but it was easier to deal when it wasn't hot.
Zuhdija would have and was about still and try to warn Kas, but by then he had already ran into the stranger from the alleyway. For a moment they seemed to know Kas. Did they know each other? From what Kas was saying it sounds like they did. Or at least in some form they were acquainted, since neither of them seemed to know each other's names at the very least.
He couldn't help but to frown at the way Nolan introduced himself, the way he cast off his name like it didn't mean much. As personal experience Zuhdija had to choose his own name having not had one before as wisps had no need for one, and he couldn't live with the same one as this body once did because that wasn't who he was. In a way it meant a lot to him, but he would avoid projecting his feelings. He then smiled at Nolan. "Thats a wonderful name."

"I'm not doing this to take over the city, my only intentions are to protect it." ________________________________________________ Kasienka Azriel Yanamai ________________________________________________ ❃✴❀ ▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬xxxxxxxx▬▬ Well he was at least glad that Zuhdija wasn't offended by his having gone silent on him before, even if it seemed the subject from earlier was making it's appearance again. Though it seemed Dija was approaching it from a different angle this time. Instead of approaching it directly he seemed intent on making it feel like he was asking a different question entirely.
'Trying to be sneaky about how he goes about questioning me on it huh? Not like that's an issue. If he is curious then I see no reason to avoid this conversation.' His gaze drifted over the area they were in, before it finally landed on the street, which he chose to focus on for a moment as he listened to Dija and Nolan speaking. His thoughts racing. He would have answered the male before but he'd been clumsy and had gone and ran into the other. Although it wasn't like he was going to avoid it just because Nolan was there. After all, he was another of the ones he'd thought of bringing into the militia before. It had just thrown him off a bit was all. All in all the situation actually wasn't that bad, even if he didn't really know how to approach either on the subject.
Perhaps something about the conversation might peak their interest in some way? Though even if that was the case, that didn't mean they would be ready to be asked. With a soft sigh, quiet enough that the others wouldn't have heard it unless they were paying close attention, he turned his attention and focus back to the two of them, a smile on his face.
"Nolan huh? That's a lovely name! And please! There is no need for you to apologize. You were already there. It was my fault for being so careless!" He said, glancing over towards Dija after having heard his response to the name and how Nolan passed it off like it was nothing. It was such a small response he couldn't help but wonder what was going on in his head right then. He chose, however, to remain quiet about it. If Dija wanted to talk about it, then he could. Kas didn't really want to prod him on the subject, in case it was a sensitive one. Not only that but it could have been nothing but his imagination.
"And, well, Nolan, this is a good friend of mine. His name is Zuhdija Aurelius, and you don't have to worry, you can trust him." He said, voice light and smile still present on his face as he introduced him to the other. He wanted to make sure that Nolan could calm down, and at least feel a little comfortable around the other. Not only that, but he knew he probably wouldn't be able to relax if he wasn't sure that Dija was safe.
"It's nice seeing you out and about. How have you been?" He asked, honestly glad to see him out and moving around, even though he was now dealing with the dilemma of how he was going to bring up the whole, "I'm making a group to protect the city, care to join me", thing. "We were actually out for a bit of a stroll through the city ourselves...If neither of you mind, would you care to join us?" He asked, before he blinked and turned to Dija again.
"Oh, right, and I suppose I should probably answer your question from earlier. Got a bit side tracked there." He said with a sheepish grin. Of course he'd known the whole time he'd needed to respond, but he wasn't just going to launch right into it without bringing it to attention first. With a quick glance towards Nolan, he took a few seconds to think on how to respond, before he brought his hands up to the sides, as though to take away from some of the seriousness of his words.
"I mean, can anyone really predict that? Truly?" He questioned, though he didn't really expect an answer to it, as he shrugged a bit, but then let his hands fall down to his sides, whatever was left of his smile before falling a bit as he took this moment to examine the area around them. He tried to do it somewhat discretely, but he wasn't so sure he managed to pull that off. At least, he wasn't sure if he managed with Dija. Nolan didn't quite know him as well.
"Honestly though, Dija? I'm not sure. However, there are a few ways it could go. As you said, the best out of just the options between the military and the gangs would probably be the military moving into Hinas to offer their..protection." He brought his arms back a bit, threading his fingers together as he took a few steps away from them and towards the street, a smile on his face, as if the subject was just hypothetical or not that serious at all. He wanted to play this as safe as he could. Though he wasn't really sure if if he was making it obvious at all or not. "The worst thing, could potentially be one of the gangs taking over. Granted, yes, some of the gangs may not be as bad as others, but there are those out there that...Let's just say it probably wouldn't be good for the city if they got their hands on it. Not at all...Well..in the sense that it would change everything about this city drastically enough."
"It would also be the outcome that would no doubt furthest remove Hinas from being the only truly neutral city in Xuna. That would put us even further in the crossfire of whatever...might happen between the military or other gangs and the one that takes over." Okay so perhaps he was saying a bit more than he'd planned, but he was still keeping it hypothetical, as much as he could anyways, and he was trying to keep too much of his previous knowledge out of his words.
"Though. I think even if the military were to take over, this city wouldn't be the same, and people wouldn't be able to go about their lives the way they are used to doing so. Things would change, new laws, new rules, new limits would be brought here, and forced onto the people. While some may be okay with this, I believe that most come to this city for the freedom, and the distance from all of the chaos, and choices people are forced to make in the other cities. I mean. Yes you never have to just commit yourself to some gang or faction that rules over a city, you could choose to stay neutral. However, in the cities where those groups exist, there is always that underlying fear that one day, that neutral stance will be wiped away in an instant. Whether that's by threats from the people in the groups themselves or by something that happens there that then forces you to go to them or to suddenly claim support...just for the sake of being less in the line of that threat." He hadn't realized that his smile had fallen away almost completely as he stared out at the street and the few people walking by on the opposite side of them. When he did catch it however, he tried bringing it back, but it probably just wasn't as convincing as his other one. Not that there wasn't a chance it wasn't convincing in the first place. "There are even some that might just punish you for speaking up against them in any way that might make them look "bad". Then there is a third possibility...aside from Hinas being taken over there is always the chance it could be outright destroyed. That may be less likely than the other two options but honestly, once again, who can be sure exactly what might happen?" He paused for a moment, before laughing quietly.
"Of course...All of this is just me thinking of what could be possible. There is always the chance none of this could be an issue."

Nolan had noticed the frown on Zuhdija's face, even if it hadn't been there for long and his gaze became downcast, as if he was trying to hide behind his long hair in silent apology. Though he gave a nod of his head in response to the praise of his name, the knowledge sitting uncomfortably in the pit of his stomach knowing of the name's origins. They hadn't asked though, they didn't need to know it wasn't his birth name, not that he knew what it was either.
"Zuhdija...A nice name..." He lifted his gaze towards Dija and he gave a partial bow of his head before glancing downward once more. Friend? Trust? The reassurance was a nice one, though he barely knew Kas beyond their previous encounters. "...I've been sleeping." He always slept throughout the day, the nights were safer for him to emerge after all. "...As long as it's no trouble...I wouldn't want to be a burden to either of you..." He answered softly, it was rare he was ever invited to join anyone.
The movement of Kas' hands lifting caused him to flinch slightly on reflex before he allowed himself to relax again. He was listening to Kas' words, silent the entire time the other spoke though his stitched expression was troubled he kept it downcast so it would go unnoticed behind his long dark hair. If Hinas was no longer truly neutral or no longer existed, what would happen to him? Where could he go? He started to shake lightly at the thought of having no place where he could belong, his eyes growing wide at the thoughts that left him petrified. ║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ ҬҢΣ ϺϴȠϨҬΣЯ ϴӺ ҢIȠΛϨ ║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█║ I've felt the stones As they hit my skin If I hurt or wronged you I'm sorry

xxxx❖ || Ȥυɦɖɩʝɑ Ʌυɽҽʃɩυϛ xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxA brilliant light shines between the folds of night in a forgotten city made of nothing. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • ❖ • ━━━━━━ ❖ ||Seeing the way Nolan seemed to apologize for it, Zuhdija couldn't help but to wonder what was up. He knew it was none of his business and that everyone had their own set of baggage...but still. To avoid intruding on that further he smiled warmly at Nolan as Kas introduced him to the other. "It's nice to meet you." He said, adding to Kas' reassurance to help Nolan feel more comfortable. He would have held out his hand for the other to shake but the guy looked uneasy as is. "I don't mind," Zuhdija said glancing over at Kas and then looked back to Nolan."You wouldn't be a burden." He smiled once more.
Zuhdija had practically forgot about what he said before meeting Nolan until Kas started to give a response on the subject. It sounded like he caught on to what he was doing with the question, but in all honesty he was just genuinely curious about it. After all there was no easy way to just drop something like that and not think about it at all. It certainly was something.
He gave a small hand motion for Nolan to walk along with them as Kas started to move away.
As more was said Zuhdija got a heavier feeling this really wasn't a hypothetical. Instead it was a real threat that he hadn't considered a whole lot because life seemed relatively normal. Hearing it this way perhaps he should consider what Kas asked him earlier, about doing something for a cause. Perhaps it wouldn't be as something incredibly big, but there was still some threat there whatever it maybe.
"You're incredibly passionate about the subject." He laughed lightly, looking in front of him. "But...I dont think anyone would just leave Hinas alone, though. Looking at it from a gangs perspective it'll certainly assert dominance and power over the others. The military isn't excluded from that either. Which in return would change how the city is run, I don't think that is something i'd be okay with. "
