Skills and AbilitiesHeightened SensesThe ability to sense small changes in both herself and her environment. A common ability among healers, this allows her to sniff out the illness and woes (both physical and mental) of those around her, leading to her better serving in her role as both Healer and Omega. It can also be used to rout out sickness or permanent injury before it starts, as an early detection of the symptoms can allow for preventative measures to avoid the problem in the first place instead of simply treating it later. Reading the mood of the pack and their situation allows one to know when (or if) they should intervene, making her a more effective Omega as well. Despite all it seems, her ability is not perfect, and lack of knowledge about a situation or individual can leave her confused and unsure of what the things she's sensing could mean. Without a frame of reference of their reactions and natural state of being it becomes easy to mistake or misunderstand these small changes. Due to this she tries to find time to test and learn about those she's studying before making any judgement, though the nature of her world and her people does not always give her time for such luxuries.
Resilient BodyHer bodies natural resistances and the higher stamina her life has earned her leave her body very resilient. While no stronger then a normal Varsythe, she is able to withstand more abuse, and go on for longer. She is no more resistant to injury then others, though her body is more used to dealing with it. Due to her natural resistance to the effects of medicinal herbs and poisons she is able to test the effects of unknown plants and animals, however this leaves her much less effected by her own remedies, requiring her to take extremely huge amounts and often normally lethal levels for any real effect. However, just because the effects are lessened does not mean she does not suffer ill effects from her eating habits, and the mixture of items in her stomach often causes even stranger side-effects which would normally remain undiscovered due to the danger of the initial substances themselves. If she ingests enough poisonous substances her own body may become poisonous for a time, but will eventually clear itself out of all toxins. Because of her own personal experience with the effects as long as she knows the tolerance she can often judge the proper amounts to disperse amongst per patients... however, all bodies are different, and tolerance alone is not often enough to know for sure what abnormal effects a remedy may have upon contact with a subjects body.

Background and HistoryAn Omega and Healer for a small pack in the Lothium Woods. She was given the name Nightshade both for her coloration and due to the fact she was caught eating a patch of nightshade and lived to tell the tale. Being picked as Healer was one of the brightest moments in her life, and though life in her pack was hard, it was a happy one. One day, her pack was caught by surprised by a group of Vileclaw brave, or foolish, enough to cross the river at the top of the Shattered Rift. Chased toward the chasm, they would not have entered willing, but an accident send the entire clan tumbling into the depths. She speaks little of that time, and remembers little more then madness, death and... something on the edge of her memory, something terrifying. She knows not how she escaped the Rift, or why she alone survived, but now she wanders, searching for something. Perhaps she will find a new home, or something else entirely.
