Hobbies:
Heiroglyphs: This is a particularly different hobby from her others mostly because it doesn't fit her artistic side as much. She, as much as she could remember, always took pride in her Egyptian heritage and was particularly fond of ancient drawings and symbols that made up the language. Because it's mostly for fun, she has never pursued anything more then the basics and had recently only started to dwell into more complicated translations. Its like solving puzzles of her culture!
Ceramics: Isis attends a weekly pottery class at Pottery Barn of DC, and enjoys the calming creations she can make. Most of her items in her home are of her own creation, and she takes pride in showing them off when she invites other over. She really loves to give them as gifts as well, and is working on setting up her own space so she can have her own wheel and glazing room.
Gardening: Along with ceramics, gardening is a very calming hobby and she has small plants littered along her yard that she grows and then takes to her job to sell. She doesn't have a greenhouse and instead makes use of the shop that she works for. (they don't really have a problem with it since she is studying botany as well!)
Virtues:
Patient: Isis has a very long fuse, and has the patience to keep handling things thrown at her. She keeps her cool and calm and tries to deal with things as they come, rather then stressing or accusing anyone of anything.
Gentle: There is a certain way she carries herself, in attempts to make herself more approachable. Soft spoken and gentle, with a softness that she hopes will draw people towards her. She isn't very fond of violence and would prefer to take a more docile route.
Serene: Isis is very calm and well balanced, She is quite content with her life and that makes her more open and relaxed to converse or interact with others. She doesn't pine for more.
Flaws:
Passive: Like a doormat, she's easy to walk on. Because she doesn't like confrontation, she usually takes the easy road and prefers to just give others what they want, even if it means giving up something of her own.
Impractical: Taking the easy road doesn't always mean that its the practical route. Being passive, doesn't always mean she's right and being gentle doesn't always solve her problems. She tends to think only about maintaining her own serenity that sometimes the routes and plans are very impractical and doesn't do more good, but instead causes more harm.
Anxious: Underneath a calm and serene, is a easily breakable stress and anxiety button, that when pressed, sends Isis into a fit. Anxiety is hard for her to deal with, and she tries to continue to maintain that she is okay and that everything is okay. Sometimes she breaks down and works on building herself back up.
