It was a beautiful day outside - such a pleasant change from the recent snow. Well, Horace supposed beautiful days were technically the norm and the snow had been an outlier... Regardless, it was a lovely day and Horace was itching to do things. It was with this thought (and many other) in mind, that he dutifully packed a tote bag and went to bother the person most suited to his plans. After a few minutes, he rapped smartly on Micah's door, hoping the man was in his room. If not, it was hunting time.

"Who is it?" Micah called, and got up to open the door. He wasn't expecting anyone, which meant that it was probably one of a very limited list of people, hopefully the ones he didn't mind.

"Your imagination." Horace made a silly face at the door, wondering if h said 'Horace', if Micah would just say 'nope'.

"My imagination usually doesn't sound like that," Micah said, and opened the door, giving Horace a flat look, not because Horace had done anything but because he was probably about to do something, judging by previous experience.

"Aw, I haven't been running through you wildest fantasies? I'm hurt." He slid his phone out of a pocket and snapped a quick picture of Micah. Ugh, blurry. "Not ideal conditions. Are you free today?"

"No matter what I tell you you're going to make faces at me," Micah said, and gave the camera a deadpan stare, confident in the thought that the picture wouldn't come out. They rarely did. "Yeah, I don't have anything till later. What's up?"

Horace grinned and hefted the tote bag on his arm a little higher. "Photo shoot." He'd been hoping Micah was free; the other man had promised, after all. "You can even pick the first locale - beach, showers, jungle, anywhere you wish."

Micah made a sound halfway between a groan and a grumble, but he'd agreed to this photo experiment, and now he had to accept the consequences of agreeing. "Hang on a sec," he said, and retrieved his boots, stuffing his feet into them and tying them, then shrugging into his coat. " No showers," he said firmly, and, "I guess we could go outside."

"That's so lame," he groused. "Everyone knows a man's true charm shows through best in the steam of the showers." Horace said it as they walked, tossing it over his shoulder while casually staying out of range in case Micah tried to sock him for that one. "But let's go to the beach - no, the cliffs." Horace led the way, blindly hoping Micah would follow. "You know, for like, a moody aura. I think you'd do it great."

"Charm? More like sogginess," Micah shot back, and contemplated smacking Horace for that one, except that Horace was inconveniently just out of reach. It was probably on purpose, he decided. He'd save it for later, when Horace forgot to watch out for it. He followed, both because he'd said he would and because he was sort of morbidly curious as to whether Horace could actually win this bet. " Moody," he grumbled. Cameras just didn't seem to work right around him. It was a curse, or something. Actually, now that he thought of it, maybe it actually was some kind of curse. He was much less inclined to say that anything was really impossible at this point.

"Yes, moody," he repeated in an appropriately moody voice. He surveyed the area, hands in his pockets. "Micah, can you like... lean against a tree? And, uh, look moody or sexy or something? Like you wanna screw the tree." Horace paused. "Maybe not the tree. But y'know." He made shooing motions.

The imitation earned Horace a friendly middle finger waved in his direction. He sputtered at the instructions, giving the nearest tree a dubious look. "I'm not into trees like that," he said, but moved to lean against the trunk anyway, crossing his arms. What if tree into you like that? Nova inquired with a giggle. What?? Micah jerked upright, his expression going scandalized and his eyes dropping to the bracelet on his wrist.

Horace had moved to snap a pic, finger hovering over the screen. When Micah jerked away from the tree, his eyebrows rose. "Did the tree.. like, make a move on you or something?"

"Nova asked me if I was sure the tree wasn't into me that way," Micah grumbled, and gave the tree a suspicious look before leaning against it again, a little more gingerly. "She's got a one-track mind. It didn't grab me or anything. ... Do they do that?" That was an alarming and previously unconsidered thought.

Horace paled slightly at the question. "Uh, not on the island... as far... as I know." He snapped another picture and immediately deleted it, frowning. "They certainly don't want to ******** people, usually. Nova might be an exception." It was much easier when he didn't think of Nova as some kind of sentient tree. No, in his mind, she'd remain a pair of green tits and a bracelet. "Is Nova into you like that?"
