The sky still showed promise of Winter yet the air was clear with the welcome of spring. The stars tried peeking downward as the sun was setting into its slumber. While the air was nippy it didn't stop the stallion from moving fluidly out in the spring grasses letting himself glide casually without destroying the delicate blades around his hooves. Raising his hoof which was powered by his leg he seemed to prance in place with an an appeal of being suspended in motion. One moment he'd turn swinging his entire body right then left till he swung into a full circle then back to his dance. The stars twinkled at him as he continued to spin allowing his mane and tail to drift along with him till he came to a full stop letting the moonlight trickle along his form starting with his withers.
Days on end this routine laid in place but there was something missing.
He trotted further now down to the stream letting his silken tresses flow behind him. Still he danced for his heart yearned him to do so minute by minute. He nodded his head bobbing a little as he kept straight for the stream feeling the dryness of his parched throat. He pushed onward escaping the nudging loneliness yet the stallion couldn't seem to bypass the feeling that tugged at him deep inside. A feeling of remorse as something precious was always lying so far from his reach yet he knew it all to well. She vanished of course years ago taking his other daughter with her. She whom he'd known as a colt and captured his heart but in reality simply vanished without a trace into the night without even a simple goodbye. He tried not letting that feeling affect him but the stallion knew that memory would never fade no matter how far you buried the past.
He grunted a sigh before dipping his head into the stream letting the cooled lifeforce quench his thirst. Many nights he followed this path always closing his night with drink to refresh. Soon he would travel back to the homeland where the teepee lied with the elder and the herd. It was monotonous following this day by day but what else did the grand dancer have to live for he wondered all the time.
Tossing his head he looked upward to the sky, "I don't know if you're ever coming back to me but, I need purpose in my life. I need closure or a sign that will give me spirit when I'm not dancing. I need to know if it's worth it". He grunted again not even bothering to prance that would lead him to his cherished dance. Instead he just grunted with an exhaled sigh as he slowly began walking back to the teepee. Perhaps he was tired or rather exhausted from wonder but he ponder it too heavily.

Spring a word you could let twirl off of your tongue with knowledge of those amazing nights where a thousand lights glittered within a black canvas. A time where your heart fluttered for simply being alive letting in those sweet breezes that whispered many things. On this very night a simple mare watched a stallion in envious adoration has he moved fluidly like a water skimmer across water's surface. Her glistened in the moonlight like green hued gems simply taking in the magic before here. There was no rhyme nor reason for his method only sheer will leading him in this solo dance. This sight she breathed a contented sigh about she'd marveled over in secret simply gazing upon his knowledge and choreographed presentation. It made her feel alive knowing how passionate he was about his routine in manner and perfection. She laughed to herself in earnest hoping someday she could ask him to teach her.
The mare adorned in flowers and ribbons loved dancing herself but not as graceful as the stallion before her. She of course was reared with a celtic bloodline destined to be a "show horse" as the locals where she grew called her. A pretty little cream colored filly whom was soon sold off to a child by a wealthy Irishman in stature and money. The girl's name was remembered as Anna whom carried the greenest eyes the mare had ever seen to nearly match her own. The lass was kind from the moment they met brushing down the tawny coat mare then tying ribbons and bows within her mane. She was merely a yearling but she understood love plainly as it was spoken from the girl's lips daily. It was a treat to experience such joy and adoration then be gifted with a golden circlet above her head weaving gently into her mane. It was a memory that was never forgotten even after the mare was forlornly sold off to be taken to another land. She wasn't of ill temper which made her shed a tear as she was taken away from Anna never to see her again.
Feeling her eyes water she gasped being caught off guard as she looked around not seeing the stallion anymore. Quickly, her head turned this way then another direction till she caught sight of him. At first the smile that curved her muzzled soon molded to sadness as she saw him returning looking at the starry night then slowly walked home. Tilting her head the tawny mare wondered why he seemed so forlorn after he had been dancing so fluidly in his own passion. Usually, she kept to herself but this very night Brisi knew there was something wrong which caused her to trot toward him to solve this puzzling situation.
"Takoda! Wait!" she yelled in a soft Irish tongue that gave her the personality she was known for. Previously, she would have let things be but her Irish heart that lived to see the Tobiano male's dance in true proud spirit.

It wasn't but a mere moment for the Tobiano stallion to realize his thoughts along with his current disposition were not alone. Lifting his head higher he didn't have to ponder who had summoned his name for he knew it well. Not personally per say but her namesake was within his thoughts as he spoke, "Brisi?" he murmured in surprise. He hadn't really associated with her when she arrived in the Kawani lands with the strange stallion dressed in oddities and cloth. She was just another friendly face that he glanced upon time after time but never cordially introduced himself. The palomino mare was very much a foreigner bound to humanity differently then Celendria was to Tirranna. Brisi was raised in the presence of the outlanders hailing from other lands. She never spoke of her past to anyone nor did he or the rest of the herd pry any further.
"I didn't know you were out here" he frowned looking upon her standing there tense yet beautiful with the moonlight glowing all around her. Though his heart murmured his lost beloved's name the stallion couldn't help but look upon the fair haired mare that stood there decorated in ribbons and flowers. Pondering thoughtfully his mind raced trying to find the right queries so she wouldn't feel ousted by his presence. His real question that nipped him was why she happened to be upon the same path as he was.
"Are you in need of something?" he asked quietly letting a deep sigh escape his throat.

The pale female called out to him unable to herself in receiving his attention. Mentally her mind and heart screamed at her something was wrong so she reached out to him quite rashly. Her quick body language wasn't meant to come off way it did but, that thought was buried. Instead she spoke when he said her name. "Yes!" she responded quickly letting her Irish accent mingle with her words. Now that she had obtained his attention her face reddened as it always had when she did something spontaneously.
"Ah Hello to ye" she smiled standing still as a deer when spotted by humanfolk.
She always admired this talented male afar and clearly her wish of meeting him wasn't fiction anymore. Straightening her shoulders with a raised head she spoke again, "I have to say... you're an amazing dancer". Watching him thoughtfully she hoped he wasn't irritable because she paused his thoughts. "I... I've watched you for many years and well wanted to say Hello". All of a sudden sweet tempered Brisi felt very awkward for her words that escaped her muzzle and tongue. She wasn't afraid to compliment him but his eyes showed a disheartened sheen to them with pained her.
"No.... honestly I saw you in pain and wanted to let you know you're not alone." Her ears lowered a bit as her green eyes showed concern wondering what he'd reply back. Would he be sensitive and sweet or difficult and uncaring she wondered. Whatever came of this moment in time she'd learn with positive insight.

The tobiano stallion looked taken aback momentarily as she spoke. She murmured in her voice he was an amazing dancer which he loved doing since his father had taught him. He lifted his head higher taking in her profile noting the soft curves of her form and the accessories that adorned them. Her eyes among the entire sight before him bore a magical presence within containing a soul that was both youthful and special. "Thank you", he replied with a slow smile though his heart was heavy with loneliness. Something though spoke quietly within about this mare that showed concern for him. He pondered a few moments then tossed his head feeling a bit more like his younger self.
"I'm sorry we've never really spoken till this point in time. I've seen you many times yet I never gathered the courage to say hello or even met you" he said with a soft sigh letting his ears swivel to listen to breeze and it swirled by. "I've been in mourning for a love I've lost ages ago". He looked at her with a thought swishing his tail, "I guess I could use some company if you wouldn't mind". His words were in a sensible manner as his heart responded to her eyes that focused upon him for reassurance. With a nod he started walking toward her slowly taking in her scent as he grew close to stance in front of him. Then an idea sparked in his head so perfectly, "Would you care for a dance Brisi?" His walk slowed till he was merely a few feet from her that old positive spark was returning from its slumber.

Green eyes full of wonder attuned to ears that took in his smooth voice that complimented him well. The tactic had succeeded positively gaining his attention as it fully settled upon her. Orbs of deep mahogany melted deeply into her own enchanting green eyes firmy. Her heart though skipped for a moment when he he apologized for never acknowledging her till now. Perhaps it was fault with them both but introductions parted those waters to something new.
Suddenly, a smile painted itself onto her muzzle hearing his offer, "I'd love to!" she responded with a joyous response then paused, "A Dance?" Clearly she loved prancing with a sway of her head as her hair fluttered around her but, this was the first time she'd been asked to join someone. Heart fluttering a little she looked at him with bright green eyes as fluid as a clear cut emerald was born. Nibbling on her bottom lip she looked a little unsure knowing her love of dance was a more private affair to watch or do herself. "I've only ever watched you or dance myself never being a partner with someone". Being a bit nervous the irish mare looked at the stallion showing concern. Her racing mind couldn't even fathom what it was like to dance with another in unison fluidly like a stream winds around a brook. Doubts loomed within but this moment she dreamed was reality standing in front of her. Thoughts beckoned several options of declining or accepting his invitation. Loving dance as much as he she couldn't decide on the outcome as it stood plainly looking at her.If she were to walk away at this very moment in time her opportunity of spending time would disappear till another chance was granted. Deep in her heart she knew what path she would follow as she spoke once more.
"Will you teach me?" she asked with a bright smile as her eyes shined.

The stallion watched her not staring to make her feel embarrassed nor displaced. His deep set orbs had a way of diving within one's particular soul possibly seeing the future and beyond. Still, he was trying to be polite as his gaze slightly flitted over her slender form in deep appreciation. Her coat being a sunshine drenched wheat field golden in its ripened appearance made her appealing to any passer by. It pained him when she made her query because it reminded him of the one his heart was first delivered to.
"Of course", he smiled deeply watching her with even more gratitude, "I haven't had a dancing partner in an extremely long time". His words were spun in truth as they left his muzzle for her to understand. Though the grand tobiano practiced daily he admitted his heart wasn't eternally present in his love of dance. The moon was drifting higher as he noted the stream had a strange alluring shimmer that rippled along the surface. "Alright then. Met me by the stream then we can begin". he smiled at her in gratitude then with a swish of his tail he trotted back toward the stream a livelier stance finally bringing him back to the present. The stallion thought joyously to himself how wonderful this night would be.
Just a teacher and student stepping into a world filled with heart and willpower.
Stopping by the stream's edge his head dipped as it plunged into the crystal cool water that once again quenched his throat. He knew deep down inside that this mare would follow him flawlessly while adopting her own rhythm as she learned.

Eyes shining bright the Palomino watched the stallion eagerly for his answer. Somehow she knew he'd say yes when he replied for her sweet nature let her read others to see their expressions and thoughts. The small moment of his watching her caused a small blush with impatience and naive admiration. Once he asked her to join him by the stream she felt a little light-hearted feeling sheer happiness fill her within. Watching him thoughtfully the mare noticed his stride was a lot less heavy fueled with passion in his steps. A smile couldn't help but paint her face as eyes green as emeralds shimmered watching him. His chest expanded proudly as mane and silken tail swishing back and forth followed her like the ribbons in her hair.
Momentarily, the mare was taken back to better days as she reminisced when Anna had given her lengthy streamers. She was nearly a yearling eager to learn playfully everything she could from her dear friend. Taking the long silken ribbon in her mouth she bobbed her head learning how it twirled and danced along with her. Leaving out a whinny in happiness the long ribbons bought her much joy though seeing her human companion mimic the dance alongside her brought pure bliss. It was a thought she'd not soon forget for ages to come. This feeling that fluttered within was the same as it played out ages ago.
Playfully, her feet lifted one after the other following her partner to the streambed.
When she arrived in a delicate prance that carried her smoothly to his side she followed in suit drinking from the stream. Once her throat was quenched she looked at him wide-eyed, "Alright I'm ready!" she announced with delicate nod of her head. Watching someone from afar was never as thrilling when you step forward and perform the passion of dance yourself.

Since Takoda had been a mere foal growing into adulthood he had known passion for dancing. His very heart beated with a rhythm unlike anything that had ever been introduced to him. The sheer movement of your soul towards the rhythm that is life fueled your dreams and passion in sync. These valuable lessons mirrored in his technique but they also shined brightly his those deep eyes of his. Now as he stood there admiring his partner did he start to feel a song rise deep within.
Nodding to her the Tobiano painted male tossed her head as his feet moved. A prince if you will decorated in passion and choreography . Slowly at first he moved his feet as his legs lifted then returned to the ground. His body swayed as his tail flicked whilst his hooves still danced. Nodding his head again he moved away from Brisi then moved into a few circles around her his hooves forever touching the ground. He knew from endless nights of surveying his father how enchanting it looked. From a side glance the stallion noted the mare's bright eyes which made a smile curve upon his muzzle. Again he turned in a circle around her the opposite way. Still his feet danced in sync making him forever endless as he saw her eyes shine brighter. How long had it been since he'd taught anyone his father's prized steps he wondered. His tail was silken in thick strands as it swayed along with him. Tossing his head one last time he came to a stop and looked at her deeply.
"Now fair Brisi" he spoke with a nod, "I want you to show me your dance. Do not fret if you don't sync as well as mine. Your heart yearns to learn more. Show me what you know." He knew she be flabbergasted at the invitation but he wanted to see a celtic dance. There was rumors of how amazing the other world horses were in their style.
His desire now called to her to perform for him.

The pale female couldn't remove her sight from this handsome stallion that took her breath away. Her motive to make him feel happiness had been reached as she noted that smile deep within his soul mirrored by those deep chocolate eyes His every movement sent shivers down her body as her gaze was surrounded with adoration for his passion. As he swayed around her his feet never ceasing their routine she was taken back into the recesses of her memories once more.
So happy we were Anna and I. Leading me by a light halter with a red rope we stepped out into the arena. She as so precious standing here in her dress as her hair was done up in ribbons and flowers. She smiled at me as I nodded to her when to begin. Nearly a yearling I had learned love and adoration for a creature so frail. I watched her dance lifting one leg then the other switching them in and out. A spin, then a turn, followed by her feet never ceasing their dance. When she stopped I knew it was my turn as my green eyes cast over the audience watching intently. Then a nod to the audience I lifted one leg then the other keeping them chronographed. Raising my legs higher I spun around then pranced around her tossing my head.
Now Anna began to twirl as I pranced together in sync. How happy I felt that day as we were awarded a red ribbon which they placed upon my halter. Even if it was purely second place it meant the world to her that a yearling made her dream come true ...
Brisi finally stepped back into the arms of reality to hear his request. Had she lost herself momentarily she panicked inside not letting Takoda know her feelings. Instead, she nodded to him, "Aye. I can do that for you." She smiled stepping a few paces from him. Granted she only knew that one dance but it would always stay with her even in the darkest doubts of her mind.
Nodding her head she lifted her feet one by one swaying each higher with an accompanying step. Once she twirled as her head dipped then she reversed the pattern. Many times she reminded herself of Anna being beside her but to her surprise it was Takoda taking in her rhythm and happiness. His eyes studied her not in harsh criticism but for sheer love of her willing to dance was as inviting to the soul as well as the mind. Once she twirled a few more times she stopped looking at him for response. Even if her gaze had captured his contentedness she longed to hear his own words.
Nodding her head she smiled looking curiously at him, "So, what do ye think?" It was short but she knew he'd respond deep from his heart.

Beating in rhythm his heart spoke louder than a mere set of words. While her dance was foreign within his realization it was adoration speaking for itself Watching her was a sunrise in magnificent golds as they radiated over the mountainside. Bobbing his head he nodded along as her hooves lifted and danced around him. As the pale night simmered the glowing moon took over illuminating the ground around them. Her own passion lighted his heart as his nostrils flared lungs breathing inward and outward in contentment mingled with surprise. It was merely heartbreaking seeing completion as her hooves settled into the dirt her own chest heaving with such intense adoration for her own interpretation of dance. His words remained silent many seconds still breathing in the golden beauty releasing her soul to the dance.
"Magnificent!" he murmured with an appreciative smile, "Now dance with me Brisi".
Hooves lifting upward his head bowed as his handsome form swayed back and forth in front of her. A beating heart beginning light sauntering into an echo as it continued to call her close to him. Yearning to feel the companionship his moved in closer to Brisi without even thinking letting his shoulder brush against hers. Now he moved away his legs still dancing beneath him waiting for her response to follow with merely no words surrounding them both in a nameless mist.

Displaying her passion she had performed her prize-winning dance before someone her heart called out to. Her smile being genuine she breathed outward for a response in those chocolate eyes of his. Those which shined brighter than the evening star among sunset. Beaming like a filly she awaited his next lesson which changed as his body language spoke outward then any songbird that rested along the ridge. Breathing in deeply at his request she lifted her hooves taking a soft step forward. Heart beating with suspense and mystery she nearly melted when he brushed her shoulder stepping away from her. Allowing her heart to speak she chose to step after him letting her hooves touch upon the ground meeting the air once more. Speaking merely in rhythm she swayed in her step catching up to the handsome stallion. Orbs of green shimmered as she took the initiative dancing toward him raising her head high. Flowing golden locks illuminated by the moonlight splayed outward around her as her feet continued to move. Remembering some of his steps she moved her feet together and spun around him in small circles. This time she herself with no regrets brushed against his side moving into his shoulder. Never ceasing her own choreography she moved away from Takoda with a nod followed by a joyful laughter. Still spinning her form glistened within the light of the night as it glowed upon her golden coat. Her own soul was its own rehearsal as she took to the stage calling out to him now. Simplicity now a raging passion swept her into a dream as she danced around him again. Breath exhaling excitement tasted more like a flavorful fruit she couldn't get enough of. Once again she brushed against him her body being much closer this time though delicate and lithe compared to his muscular form. As she spun one last time around him she stopped merely inches from his own face her muzzle barely touching his. Then she left out a laughter of pure ecstasy fueled by her passionate dance. Stepping backward from him Brisi's gaze never separated from his never ceasing her hooves from their strange calling.
Now she called out silently to him within the moonlight to dance with her.

Watching in pure fascination the Spanish blood stallion's eyes followed the mare without a beat. Knowing not what the night would bring nodding his head he continued to move within the rhythm with his hooves. She was like a dancer unknown in his mindset like the other mares. Shining was the moonlight upon both Soquili as it blanketed the ground like a stage. Mere inches from his muzzle she let out a joyful laughter that radiated through him with chills. Now her silent call shimmering in her eyes called the stallion like a long lost lover to her side.
Nodding his head he followed in suit after Brisi now coming toward her in his own rhythm. Then he moved away from her seeing her shoulders lathered in sweat with her legs. The dance was his calling but a young mare was merely learning. Stepping backward now he nodded his head then approached her again. His body language spoke openly to follow him though he danced around her with quick flicks of his tail. Dipping his head he made a soft whicker then brushed against her playfully. Stepping away he'd resume the same method then retreat into his own circle just a foot away. Once again he'd come toward her flicking his tail, brushing her side, then he dance away his feet never ending in their movement.
Now when he stepped in for the last time he grew close till he blew softly upon her cheek then pulled away his feet still moving. Moving away from her further now dipping his head he silently told her where he was going. Then he turned the opposite way then took off in a gallop waiting for her to follow.

Darkness illuminated by light carried on its mystical song as two dancers performed on the stage.
Continuously moving in their own right the mare and stallion continued giving the world their cherished dance born of simple request. Nodding with a flick of her tail she moved in her dance never losing sight of the stallion. Her body was feeling soaked within and out feeling dampness throughout her being. Never had she danced so vigorously to cover herself in a sweat before even in the dance competitions. Her eyes never strayed from Takoda though as he neared closer then reversed back dancing around her. Within her throat she felt a dryness from thirst after hours of their dance routine. Flicking her ears she heard his wicker noting he was changing their routine. Never skipping a beat she kept moving her hooves keeping up with him.
Once he blew softly upon her cheek then took off in a gallop Brisi ultimately knew she was to follow. Several hours had wrapped them in a dance causing each to forget their normal limitations. Nodding she took a breath following after him knowing their dance would take a pause for the night. Never a good notion pushing oneself she followed after him into her own delicate gallop trying not to exhaust herself. His own gait ahead of hers spoke clearly where he was headed since her note of where they had drank deeply before.
Letting a small smile settle upon her muzzle she understood he was concerned her health. Though the dance may of reached its finale she was certain the night was not over by any means.
