Hadaya was out a bit later than he usually liked, but for some reason he just felt like wandering around tonight. He ended up in a residential part of town that he was not too familiar with, not near enough to his new home or to Camelot's place for him to have explored it thoroughly and figure out all the good hiding spots and food sources.
He also was not aware of timed lawn sprinklers, or that he was standing in the grass of a lawn, slowly stalking a bee that had come to rest on one of the flowers in a nearby topiary, that had one.
It was soon enough made clear to him, though.
Lifting his head when he heard a soft click and a whir of something coming to life, he frowned and looked around for the source only to see small spouts rising up from their hidden homes in the ground. Water sputtered out of them, splashing first before jutting out in a calculated arc, each one spinning to cover a different part of the lawn efficiently and, presumably, without much water wasting.
To Hadaya, though, it seemed the sprinklers were set for cat soaking, and he was quickly drenched even as he went sprinting from the lawn with a miserable yowl.

She'd been getting ready for bed when she'd heard the loud yowl in the distance. The pearl-handled hairbrush paused mid-swipe from attempting to tame pink curls as her head turned towards the window. What?Setting the hairbrush down on her bed, she rose from the fluffy comfort of her bed to peer into the darkness of the outside world...and just in time to see a familiar looking rotund feline dashing across one of the neighbor's yards. No. Could it really be? Thoughts of drifting off into slumber dissipated as manicured fingers yanked on the window, sliding it open enough to send a chilled breeze bursting into the room. Taking a step back, she sidestepped towards her nightstand and pulled out her henshin pen, the silver star topper gleaming, as if it knew her intentions. Minutes later, Super Sailor Dia was on the rooftop, eyes searching the area for the dampened kitty cat who had dared to invade her own neighborhood. He wouldn't get away, not this time - not when she was more powerful than ever. "Heeeeeeeeeeere, kitty kitty kitty....." The soft call echoed into the darkness, the powerful pulse of the Guardian's aura soon giving away his location as she dashed across the neighbors' roofs in search for the cat.

A certain small, round pillow hog hadn't come home yet. Navi was worried, despite Chaonis' insistence that he was only late, that there was probably nothing wrong, that he had probably just gotten his head stuck in a fry box again, etc. These thing, while all having the possibility of being true, could just as easily be false as well, and the petite eternal wasn't keen on leaving such a thing to chance. Not when she and the rest of her new family were the prime targets DC's premiere psycho b***h general. So she'd left a yawning boyfriend back at their home with the promise that she'd check as soon as she found him, or every half hour until she had(for the aforementioned reasons above regarding psycho b***h general's targeting her and her family). She'd then set off down the street, hoping the poor thing had just gotten turned around on his way home, and wasn't that far from home. What she really wasn't expecting was the dark aura of something chaotic when she'd only traveled a few blocks from her home. It had her pausing, head turning in that direction as if if she concentrated hard enough she could taste just what it was she was sensing. But it didn't work like that.

Hadaya was just sprinting across another road, lost in his water-logged panic, when he came to a complete halt dead in the middle of the road.
That horrible aura hit him first, powerful and wicked, and sending a shudder all the way through his stubby little limbs. He curled down against the pavement, shutting his eyes and putting his paws over them for extra protection. In his fear stricken mind, hiding was the only option. Since he was too terrified to move at all, he could only go with the 'shelter in place' method of not looking at any potential danger.
If he could not see it, maybe it would miss him...
But probably not.
"Naaaviiiiiiiiiii!" Hadaya whined loudly, not lifting his head from his hiding place. Of course, Negaverse Senshi were not his only problem at the moment, as a car was rumbling in his direction as he cowered down uselessly in the middle of its path.

She'd closed in on the fat little tom cat, the grin spreading across her face as she finally laid eyes on the wet furball. He wasn't going to get away from her, not this time. An eyebrow quirked as she paused to watch him, well, pause, lingering in the middle of the road. The last time they'd met, he'd had no problem scurrying his furry rump away from the discarded french fries and the senshi that had pursued him. This time, however, he seemed to freeze in his tracks. Eyes glanced up in time to see the old Cadillac heading towards the feline, a puff of exhaust leaving the tailpipe as it clanked and clamored forward with a steady pace. Without thinking, Dia took three running steps forward and then a leap - stiletto heels landing on either side of the trembling puss. She stood with her hands on her hips, fingers digging into her sides as she watched the older Caddy swerve suddenly to miss her. The driver may not have noticed the small cat in the road, but it was hard to miss someone with endless waves of bubblegum pink hair and candy-striped tights. A window was rolled down, expletives were shouted and the driver sped away, probably thanking the stars that he'd been paying enough attention not to have made it on the local news for hitting a young woman with his uninsured vehicle. Dia, on the other hand, merely glanced down at the Guardian, who seemed to be impersonating an ostrich burying its head. " Hello again, my little friend."

She felt him before she heard him calling out for her. A familiar, comforting aura drawing her in the same direction the darker one was coming from, and Navi responded immediately to her poor guardian's need. He was close, closer than she'd originally thought, but that only made finding him easier, and after only a few minutes quick sprinting she'd come to the street Haddy and an unknown corrupt were standing. Pale eyes took in the scene quickly; Hadaya, cowered down in the middle of the road. A pink clad corrupt with bubblegum hair smiling over him. The retreating tail lights of some old cat disappearing around the far corner. She could have made a few guesses as to what might have happened, but really, perhaps it was better to not jump to conclusions. "Haddy," she called to him, sinking down to crouch in the road so she could hold her hands out to him. You're okay, I'm here." Regardless of what had been gapping previous to her arrival, she could at least ensure that he was safe now. The petite eternal wouldn't let anything happen to him.

Hadaya did not open his eyes for any of it. He was fully expecting never to open them again, in fact, once he got flattened into a road pancake by the car. But that part did not come. Instead, he heard a lot of thumps, the engine whirring by with a high pitched screech of tires after it, and some very colorful language fading into the distance as it moved away.
He opened one eye, peeking out from under his paw and glancing around him first. No car. Not fluffy white clouds. No fire and brimstone. He looked up, though, and felt his heart sinking further into his gut. Maybe the alternative was not actually any better than what his imagination had conjured up.
"Oh no!"
He eeped and turned his head, scrambling on his belly as fast as he could the moment he heard Navi's wonderful voice. He wanted to get to her, but he also could not be rude. Grimacing, caught between fear and appreciation, he bumped his head against Dia's ankle as he quickly tried to run away.
"ThankyouforsavingmybutIhavetogo!" all the words fell out almost on top of each other, but he at least managed to say thank you. He just remembered that she was very keen on stealing him away and turning him into an evil little cat. Oh, he couldn't bear it! He turned his attention entirely to Navi, his savior, bee-lining for her directly.

Her eyes narrowed as the other senshi made her presence known, beckoning the fat little furball that Dia had broken a heel chasing after not terribly long ago. Nobody made her break her own heels and got away with it. Nevermind that they reappeared pristine after every power-up - that wasn't the point. She felt his furry little head brush against her leg as he made his way out from between her legs and towards the other woman. Her aura was powerful, Dia would give her that much, but she wasn't one to be intimidated. Yet. "Won't let anything happen to him?" One glove moved up to flip a wayward curl back over her shoulder. "Where were you ten seconds ago? Clearly you don't deserve to take care of a Guardian, not if you're about to let him get hit by a car, of all things."

Crouching down, the Eternal reached out to catch the little furball as he raced towards her, swinging him up easily into her arms and laying a kiss between soft, folded ears. "I've got you, it's okay." Soothing words whispered against his star, though hazel eyes would linger on the corrupt that now faced them, and the unhappy expression she was wearing. She spoke, and Navi's features hardened from tender to resolved, and she lifted her head from Haddy's soft fur to stare across at the super. The accusation wasn't worth responding to, but all the same Navi's arms tightened around the small cat in her arms. She'd known he'd been lost, but not that he'd gotten himself into that much trouble along the way. It was worrying, made her want to keep him with her always, but he wasn't a pet, he was her companion. "Trouble seems to follow him, I do what I can." Trouble in the form of corrupted senshi, it seemed. What did she want with her guardian? "If you helped him, then thank you." Regardless of anything else that was happening a little gratitude was in order if Hadaya escaped the car with her help, though she didn't think the corrupt was sticking aorund just for a thank you.
