Finally. Ming'we had made it back to her homeland. Sauti was the place she felt most at home, the most accepted by people. It might have had something to do with the fact that she had been raised there but hey. As smaller rocks were crunched beneath her feet she tilted her head back and looked up at the sky. Her pure blue eyes took in the clouds and their small formations, judging to see when the next rainfall would be. If she was lucky she could find a spot to collect some of that water and start making her farm from there. Ming was more determined than ever to get her home made.

Moving her crossbow up she rested it on her shoulder. There was currently no bolt in it so it was completely harmless but she hoped just seeing it would deter any would be attacker. She knew that some people took advantage of the nomad way of life. Leveling her gaze back to what was in front of her she took a deep, calming breath. Sauti air. She was home no matter where she decided to settle.

She'd just settled her bill for a meal and wandered outside to figure out what to do next. The wind female wanted to save someone! She wanted to be a prince. That was her driving force, honestly. With her noble looking clothing and hairstyle, one could almost think she was a prince. If only it weren't for her shapely hips. She had little chest to speak of, but she made up for everything with her hips.

There was nothing she could do about them. Ah well. So down a road she went, just a random direction to figure out where she'd settle for tonight. Maybe in the forest so she didn't have to deal with inns? Hmm..

"Wheeeeeere should I sleeeep?" She was half whining, half talking to herself. Ceredwyn thought that it was normal.

Moving along, Ming'we tried to spot a place that would be perfect for what she wanted. Though she did find something else altogether along the way. A person. Female from the looks of it. And.. if the hybrid was correct she was speaking to herself. A small brow arched upward as she watched for a second. It wasn't all that uncommon for people to do but it was odd to see.

Drawing closer she tilted her head slightly. "Did you find the answer?" Ming questioned. Of course she was smiling a bit as well, amused by what she saw.

A voice hit her ears and Cere turned her head to find... another person there. This one was a hybrid, she could tell. Her head tilted to one side and blinked blue-green eyes at the other curiously, almost like she was staring. Well, she was. She'd never seen a hybrid before.

"Uuuhm. No. Unfortunately." Ceredwyn sighed and shrugged to herself before grinning. "Who're you? I've never seen anyone like you!"

No? Ming'we smiled at her. "Ah. Well not to worry, the answers usually creep up on us." Of course she wasn't even sure what the girl had asked herself. But the hybrid had gotten an answer from the world when she hadn't even realized she needed one.

Blinking she tilted her head then gave a small frown. All this time she was trying to forget that she was of a mixed heritage but it seemed to be all that people saw when they looked at her. "My name is Ming'we." Though she gave her name in answer to who she was she didn't quite know how to respond the last part.

Ceredwyn blinked at Ming'we and tilted her head. They answers creep up on them? Interesting. "Ceredwyn. Cere for short, however." She offered her hand for the other and just grinned. "Sorry if that sounded rude. It's probably really rood to say things like that." Still, Ceredwyn at least managed to look apologetic enough as she said sorry.

"I'll refrain from asking things like that. Anyway. Hi. I'm just pondering where to sleep. I'm thinking about an inn, but that means more walking... and then if I sleep next to the road that's a whole other issue.." She waved her hand in front of her face and sighed. "See, I don't like thinking of myself as lazy, but when it comes to me? I like doing things the easy way." Set her on a task, however, and she did things the hard way. Never taking short cuts or anything similar.

Somewhere to sleep? Ming'we blinked as she considered the options. An Inn did indeed mean more walking. Sleeping next to the road was dangerous if the wrong type of person happened by. So she inclined her head as she agreed to the two statements. "Why not look for an out cropping of good rock? It'll provide shelter and you won't have to walk too far." Ming usually settled down for the night in just such places. They also tended to provide good cover on a hot day. "I think I passed one not too far back that way." She pointed the way she had just come from. Though it could be in the opposite direction that Cere wanted to travel.

"That... That's a really good idea."

Ceredwyn blinked at the other and then snorted a little. "Yeah. That's a really good idea! Hey. ...Do you want to camp with me? I mean, you did give me the idea so... I'd hate to put you out of a good shelter, you know?" She pushed a hand through her short hair and then beamed at the other. "Say, what are you? Your job, I mean? You look like you've seen a battle or two."

Was there an interesting story there?

Ming laughed a little. Apparently she was the only one that thought of using the terrain as shelter. Most people brought tents or blankets, she used the earth. When Cere invited her to camp out she held her hands up and shook her head. "Oh, that's alright. I'm sure I can find another one." Not that the idea wasn't a fun one. It had been a while since she'd had a companion to simply sit with and talk to.

Once she was asked about what she did as a job she blinked then pointed to her crossbow. "I'm training to be a sniper." Ming'we shrugged slightly. To her it had never been a big deal other than the connection it gave her to her earthling mother. "I've only seen one real battle.. so nothing exciting."

"Wow," she said in awe, mouth hanging open a little. A sniper? Ceredwyn grinned a bit and then laughed. "That sounds so cool! Like.. You have to know stealth for that and marksmanship and it's gonna be a long road, isn't it?" Cere's nose wrinkled as she smiled and then bit down on her bottom lip. "So cool.

"I want to be a Prince," she said after waiting just a beat. "With a sword and a shield. I'll save all the beautiful princesses and be a Knight in Shining Armor." She huffed a little more and puffed herself out. "Are you sure? You can sleep by the fire I make, we can make food. I have some fresh meat on me that needs to be eaten." Cere did everything but bat her eyes at the other woman and let her fingers crook.

A Prince? "Do you mean princess?" Ming'we tilted her head.

Then she laughed. As Cere said she wanted to save princesses instead Ming could only nod her head. "There are a lot to be saved, I'm sure." If she thought about it she could likely name a few.

The idea of a nice fire made her give in to the idea, the food was just icing on the cake. "Alright, sure. I like the idea of being nice and warm." So far she'd spent the last couple of nights without a fire just because she was too tired to hunt down the kindling needed to make one.

"Nope. I mean I'm going to be a Prince." She arched a brow at the Princess bit and wrinkled her nose in distaste. No, she didn't want to be a princess. She didn't need saving. Ceredwyn leaned forward and grinned a bit more. "I'm a Prince without a crown. I'll marry me a pretty lady, make her my princess and live happily ever after." Ceredwyn's eyes danced in joy as she spoke and then laughed.

"Okay, good. So, take me to this spot?" She picked up her bags and put them on her shoulders. "Nice and warm, and with plenty of meat."

She chuckled a bit and shook her head. "Alright." Who was she to tell the girl otherwise? When she was told to lead the way she made a motion with her hand that said to follow her. Ming'we headed back the way she'd came though the walk was a short one, maybe five minutes at most.

When she got to the spot she hopped down into the small area. The out cropping of rocks proved to be a good shelter and she smiled as her hands went to her hips. "See. Perfect place to sleep." Or camp. Whichever.

Ceredwyn looked at the area they were at and then nodded. "Looks like a good place, actually." She had been doubtful, actually. This would be a learning lesson to trust people more often. She dropped her bag and sat next to it in a huge huff. "Goodness, I'm so tired.." She looked up at the other. "Just one problem. No meat already cooked and waiting."

The wind female pouted and just laughed again, waving her hands to indicate it had been a joke. "Thank you, though, for bringing me here."

She shook her head as she smiled at the girl. With Cere dropping to the ground and leaning against her bag, Ming did the same, though a bit more slowly. At the mention of there being a problem she furrowed her brow and looked around. What problem was there? Ming'we wasn't sure that she saw one, but then again she was used to sleeping in places like this.

As the girl said there was no food ready and waiting the blonde chuckled. "Yeah, I guess that is a problem." Even though Ceredwyn waved it off and thanked her she started to dig into her own bag. It took her several minutes but she eventually pulled out a few strips of dried meat and held them out for the other girl to take. "Here." Ming was willing to share with the wind tribeswoman.
