Cassidy sighed softly to herself as she got out of bed and got ready for a day of job hunting. She showered, brushed her teeth, and then got dressed in a nice outfit that made her look a little older than she was. Once she was ready, the young woman grabbed her purse, keys, and cellphone and headed out of her apartment. She had the first two months of rent covered, but she had to get a job to pay her bills and keep herself from falling behind on her rent. Cassidy walked down the block and wrote down the number for every 'Help Wanted' ad she saw.
A few hours passed and it was noon. The eighteen-year-old's stomach growled and she sighed, heading to a small café to get a coffee and a sandwich. Cassidy ate her lunch, paid for it, and then left to find more help wanted ads. It was another few hours before she saw the ad in the window of a large building. Cassidy wrote down the number and headed home, feeling she had plenty of numbers to call.
A few of the jobs, Cassidy definitely wasn't suited for. She wasn't one for scrubbing toilets for someone else or dealing with rude customers. Finally, she got to the last number. She called and breathed a small sigh of relief when the job description seemed to be something she'd be good at doing. How hard could it be to be someone's assistant, right? Cassidy set up an interview for the next day and spent the rest of her day reading and tidying up her small apartment.

You're never gonna get it I'm a hazard to myself I'll break it to you easy This is hell, this is hell You're looking and whispering You think I'm someone else This is hell, yes. I am in hell. ``````````````````````________________________
XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX There was so much going on, his mind kept bouncing from one thing to the next. Being the son of someone important was hard. Very hard, specially if that someone was the CEO of a major manufacturing company. The good old family business. You'd think being the horrible old man's only son Blake would just have the company passed down as a tradition. But sadly for him that wasn't the case. He wanted a promise, not between the two of them. A promise from Blake to any other, marriage was the word peope used for this. See Blake's father wasn't just looking for the next one in line, he wanted to make sure their were many more than that.
That meaning grandchildren and the only way for that to happen was for his only son to settle down and get married. The business would only be passed to him if he put a diamond ring on the hand of some love struck gal and resight some bullshit speech he would probably forget in a couple months. He had different views than his father, Blake didn't care much for love. Actually, he didn't care much for anything but himself. He wanted to be filthy rich and his father's company was what was going to get him there. He was a greety, cold hearted a*****e with a silver tongue and a smirk that could stop a woman's heart. He only ever used his looks to get what he wanted and it worked every time.
Letting out a sigh the six foot three inch male paced in his large office. There was no doubt in his mind that the people in the building next door were starring at him. He had been walking like this for a while, besides everyone around the business buildings looked at him funny. He was the youngest person to hit such a high position and his outter appearance was shocking for the workplace he was in. But Blake worked hard for all of this and there was no way he would let anything, or anyone get in his way. But he had to think, he was hitting a slope now that his father said he had to get married to win the sitting of the next CEO. Plus he needed a new assistant. His last one was pregnant and went on a leave.
Hearing a ring the blue eyed male looked over at his phone. Walking to his desk he clicked on the speaker, lifting the phone. "Make this quick, don't waste my time." He spoke bluntly. "Sir, someone called for the spot as your assistant. I set up an interview for tomorrow afternoon. Is that alright or should I call them back?" This was good news to him. Looks like things were turning up. "That's fine Fionna, thank you. He replied. "You're very welcome sir." She finished. Hanging up the phone he slowly sat in his large black chair. Leaning back slightly he let out a deep sigh. At least he found some good news, but the marriage thing was still annoying him.

Cassidy woke up early the next morning and ran her errands early. Once she was done, she went back to her apartment to shower and get herself ready for her interview. Well, as ready as she possibly could be. Cassidy left for the interview and got to the building twenty minutes early. The young woman waited in the small lobby outside of the CEO's office, waiting until it was time, like she had been instructed by the secretary.
Fifteen minutes passed and Cassidy was starting to get a little nervous. She watched the hands on her watch tick and she bit her lip. Four minutes. What if she wasn't what he wanted? What if she wasn't qualified? What if she messed up the interview with the word vomit that happened when she was nervous? Three minutes. Cassidy stood up and stepped towards the office door, heart hammering in her chest as she contemplated knocking early. Two minutes. Taking a deep breath, Cassidy knocked, waiting patiently for an answer.

I am in hell. ``````````````````````________________________XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Letting out a soft sigh the blonde turned his head away from the noise that came from one of the chairs in front of his desk. He rested his chin against his fist, he could have rolled his eye's but that would be very disrespectful. "Are you listening to me Hansel? " Lowering his hand the suited male turned his head towards the elder man. "Yes, I get it. Marriage soon or I don't get the family business. You've told me this already." Many times. Blake wasn't really in the mood for another one of his fathers famous lectures about why it was important to keep the family business running in the family. "And I'm not gonna stop tellin' you till you have yourself a fine young lady lookin' to get hitched. I don't just want grandchildren Hansel, I need this business to stay in the family, I can't have you breaking the chain and letting any outside parties in. You're my only kid." He explained. Than before the man could continue on the phone right next to Blake's hand rang. Without a second thought he clicked the speaker button.
"Sir, the woman for your interview is here to see you." She explained. Looking over at his father the blonde watched the mans surprised and slightly happy expression. "Thank you, send her in." He replied before hanging up. "I'll see myself out, since you have.. Company." The silver haired male smirked. It was obviously not what his father thought, its not like he was going to marry this woman. Even if he did hire her. Standing as his father did the two walked over to the door. Grabbing the handle before Mark could Blake pulled the door open, his bright blue eye's soon setting on the female that stood in the door frame. The elder male looked her over, a charming smile appearing on his face as he checked her out. Ugh, there he goes again. "Well, good luck to you. A gorgeous girl like yourself won't need much to win this one over." He joked with a wink. This causing Blake to give the back of his head a glare. "Well, I was just on my way out. I hope you're interview is a good one. Goodbye son. Lady." He nodded at each of them making sure to flash the female one of his famous pearly white teethed smile.
Watching the man walk off Blake tightened his grip on the door handle for a moment. Looking down at the female he held his arm out towards the room. "Well. Come in, lets get started." He offered, not once smiling at her. Waiting for the brunette to walk in he shut the door behind them. Walking over to one of the sofa chairs in the room he stood by one of them, the other just across from him. Lifting his tattooed hand he unbuttoned the middle button on his suit jacket. "Please, have a seat. Tell me about yourself. Cassicy Larken wasn't it?" He asked slowly sitting himself down on the sofa chair. Resting a hand on the arm rest he crossed one leg over the other, waiting for the young woman to take a seat. ________________________ `````````````````````` We don't have to smile We don't have to make friends It's so nice to meet you, Let's never meet again We don't have to talk We don't have to dance
