Noah’s rubbed his temples as he moved away from his dorm room he shared with a fellow freshling. The grimm was getting on Noah’s last nerves but he was holding off, hoping that the bully would come to his senses and start to treat Noah better. Sighing, Noah decided that the best course of action, for that day, was to go for a walk. Maybe, soon, he would talk to his twin about his problems and they could figure something out that would work in Noah’s benefit. Not to mention it had been ages since the two of them had hung out together.

Noah wandered around town for what seemed like hours, mostly window shopping. Music drifted down the street just as Noah was about to turn and head back to the dorms. Blinking, his curiosity got the best of him. Turning back, Noah followed the sound and soon found himself entering a small music shop. Various instruments lined the shop walls and shelves and, towards the middle, sat an older geist playing a guitar while a fallen stood beside him and sang. Noah couldn’t help but get entranced by the sound of the guitar. Something about the stringed instrument always did intrigue the young geist.

He remained, watching and waiting for the duo to finish what they were doing, before approaching the man as he put the guitar up. “That was amazing. How’d you learn to play like that?”

The older geist laughed and smiled down at Noah. “Taught myself. It took a lot of practice. Ya interested little man?”

Noah blinked, head tilting to the side before he looked around the shop. “I’ve always loved music but never thought I’d really have a chance to learn.”

“There’s always a chance. I offer lessons, if you’re interested,” the geist said before disappearing behind the counter and fetching a business card. “Here. Lemme know what you decide, yeah? New students are always welcome and it’s good to start young if you’re at all interested in making a career out of music.”

Noah took the business card, thanked the man and headed out of the store and back towards the dorm rooms. Make a career out of music? Could it be possible? The very idea intrigued Noah to no end. He very well might just take the older geist up on his offer to teach Noah how to play the guitar.
