They had promised to text. Except that Jeremiah's first text was nothing to do with the terrible idea he had. That would be later. endejester text to: zac let me know that you got that place for tonight.There would be more texts later. For that first night that Zac moved out.

His phone chimed, a small clip from a Florence and the Machine song he'd down loaded a program just to make sure he could apply it to the 'Detective Dad' profile on his phone. azuredreams text to 'Detective Dad: Yeah, I got it, he came and picked me up actually. How are you holding up?

Jeremiah himself actually had something that reminded him of space, and so when his phone buzzed and he heard that, he immediately knew Zac had replied. endejester text to: zac 'detective son' waiting for confirmation boot is off my car so i can pick it up. definitely looking forward to bed.Then, not that long later, another text appeared. also apparently there was strange flyers and graffiti that showed up after the fog cleared and before we made it back to town.

Zac glanced down at his phone as it buzzed again, tipping his head slightly as he read the message. First one didn't need a response he figured, but the second one that came through... azuredreams Detective Dad: -???- what did they say? How strange are we talking?

Jeremiah was getting a ride to his vehicle, back already bothering him. He - at this point - just wanted to be under blankets and asleep. The sound and noise of the opening theme to Doctor Who pulled him from his thoughts. A reply was fired back off to Zac. endejester detective son: flyers read IT WALKS. also handsy?!?! (not sure about this part, just what has been said about if you handle one.) there was also some instances of the graffiti around town. it was painted on darlene's front window. it's been cleaned up now.

He frowned... 'Handsy'? What the heck? What was written on the papers sent something of a chill up his spine though he had to admit. azuredreams Handsy? It said handsy if you touched them? That's... odd. Does the 'It Walks' make you think of the library though? He paused a second and then sent a second message. azuredreams ... When you say Graffiti..

Jeremiah smirked a bit. Zac was always quick. endejester makes me think of IT that we don't know anything about. also handsy as in if you touch them it felt as if a hand was on your neck? i'll have to look into this later.then, a few moments later. i do mean that graffiti. like what i marking locations for. Which had Jeremiah groaning quietly to himself. That paper with the locations of the graffiti in other ashdown was still in the library. He would, at some point, have to get it.

Zac made a face, anyone sitting near him might rather assume he was reading something questionable online, like fanfiction that didn't really mesh with his personal tastes. azuredreams Could this town GET creepier?! No...don't answer that. Pretend I never typed that.

Jeremiah huffed out a laugh when he saw that response. endejester i saw nothing. i finally got back to the house. i'll text you later if i come up with any plans. ... then, because it was getting closer to the early hours of the morning, he was sending out a text to Algie. The detective was crawling his way into bed - and not coming back out of it for a while.

Zac had not been idle. He'd gone to the library to do some research, all of it, mind you, in 'regular' Ashdown. He had no plans at that time to ever seek out Sunny, he was still pretty mad at her. Azuredreams @ library - doing research, think I found a block-print of -HER-

Jeremiah was still dealing with his memory loss, still trying to figure out what else he had forgotten when his phone pinged a message from Zac. endejester why am i not surprised?then, a moment later. is what era appropriate to ask?he always assumed it would be something old

For his part - Zac had no idea that anything had been lost...Likely, that was a good thing for Jer, or the texts would have been a lot different. azuredreams Written 1626 - Its talking about the early settlement of Ashdown, an Indian Princess, but the name doesn't fit. Princess Keen, the picture of Her is just labeled Indian Girl though

Jeremiah was going to tell Zac but it was definitely an in person conversation. He blinked at his phone, reread it twice and frowned. It probably was not the same thing but ... endejester not the story about heartbreak hill, i assume?several seconds later princess keen? that seems oddly appropriate for sunny.

Zac arched his eyebrows, things he honestly wished he'd known about before he'd gone to the library rose their heads again. He really shouldn't have been surprised, who would have thought that book would have taken on such an eerie significance? azuredreams The Book Alg tried to return to ah, our friend in the Other Town? - no, they are -similar-, creepy so, but if anything the Hill was inspired by it. Did find what might be 'Her' house though, thanks to Autumn and a little Leg work.

The detective was actually in the process of trying to settle Hellbine while he wrote down everything in a notebook that Algie had given him. Thinking about Heartbreak Hill did not give him as bad of a feeling anymore. Still, that particular nightmare was not one he liked to think back to. endejester with all the stories in it, yes. heliodora's book. was there a publish date for each book? find out if it was inspiration for it. Jeremiah was tapping his pen against the counter, watching as Hellbine eyed it lazily. endejester the house on the hill? the ones in the rumors, i assume. Then, because he thought about it and added. endejester sunny did say, zac, that the old stories are true.
