"Of course." Her voice floated through the apartment as she closed the door behind her, bright and faintly amused. "Does anyone else have free access to your place? Do I need to be jealous?" Jade could probably hear the laughter in those words, the smile that had formed them. She couldn't see the blonde, not yet, but it wasn't terribly hard to pinpoint where her vice was coming from. Porsha had been there enough times now to know. She took her time walking through the open living space that lead into the hall.

"You're not busy today, are you?" Po paused at the window, catching her own reflection in the glass. Not yet used to what she saw looking back. She'd had the same hair style for years--comfortable, no nonsense--but it had been time for a change. Dark lips pursed as she slid fingertips along the shorter hair at the side of her head, expression thoughtful.

"I was at a meeting earlier with the publicist for the league, but it let out a lot earlier than I was expecting. So I find myself with an abundance of free time." The journey to the bathroom resumed. "If you're free, I thought we could grab some lunch, maybe get in a little shopping?"

Now wasn't that a nicely satisfying reaction. Porsha grinned as Jade's pause, the widening of pale eyes before she was reaching out brush fingers through the teased locks that remained. "It was time for a change. I've been over due a hair cut for months now." With a smirk she reached out to tuck her hand at the nape of the taller girl's neck, drawing her in for a peck on the lips, followed immediately by a peck on the cheek.

"Been a little busy," she provided. Not so much an apology as an explanation. Jade knew her well enough now to know her schedule was a little packed, day or night. And what with the barricks still in complete disarray, it was more important than ever to get her plans rolling for a new Negaverse clinic.

Of course, there was something to be said for all work and no play. A balance was needed. There were still relationships to maintain and nurture. "Whenever you're ready to go then. My afternoon is completely free. You'll have my undivided attention." The last came out in something close to a pure, fingertips trailing along Jade's shoulder and down her arm.

It was easy falling into that comfortable, casual affection. It came to the fighter naturally, and though she seldom curbed the behavior much, it was nice being around those that appreciated and reciprocated, rather than simply accepted it. There was a pleased him as pale hands pulled her in by the hood, and she rose up on the balls of her feet for the press of brow against brow.

"Never change," she urged, though even if her tone didn't waver, it was more if a plea. Even if she adapted to change, it didn't mean she always liked the results of it

Another quick kiss was returned, and Porsha gave jade a small nudge on the hip to get her moving. "There's a new little cafe down by the shopping district that just opened up, figured maybe we could try it out."

Reassurances aside, the fighter would probably always worry. She had tried, at one point a long time ago, to keep her emotional distance with her fellow soldiers, but in the end she hadn't been able to. Not even after Alois had disappeared on her, leaving a hole that was only just beginning to heal. She leaned into touch, smiling at the press of lips to her head, and let herself be guided towards to door, grabbing the knob when they were close enough.

"You know, a lot of the things I need to do don't require being solo. If you wanted, you could join me from time to time." It would give her a glimps of the inner workings of the Negaverse, and what it meant to be general.

For ease of motion, Porsha slipped out from under Jade's arm, taking her hand instead. Leading the way past the elevators and towards the stairs. A habit the blonde was likely used to by now.

"Anything new with you?" Po knew damn well that Jade had a life of her own outside of the time they spent together, and while she didn't need to invade every facet of the taller girl's life, she was still curious how things were going when she wasn't around?

It was a relief and a joy to see Jade flourishing in the new life Porsha had brought her into. Yes, the taller woman had chosen it, but there had been plenty of cases of buyer's remorse in the past, and that was something she never wanted for the bubbly blonde. No, those soft lips were meant for smiling, always, and the fighter was going to do everything in her power to make sure that remained to be the case.

"I'm glad you like it," she mused as they bounced down the stairs. "that you're so eager to learn everything." It showed a great deal of potential and ambition, and it reminded Porsha of herself when she'd first been corrupted.

As they hit the ground floor Po moved to get the door for them without letting go of Jade's hand, pushing it open easily so they could walk out into the lobby, then getting the first of the pair of double doors that separated them from the sidewalk.

"That'd exciting. You've got a definite way with people, magnetic, I'm sure he'll have no trouble accessing your marketability." Now, who was it the young woman was talking about...Po was going to have to make it a point to find out.

Protective? Maybe just a little.

Po gave Jade's hand a small squeeze, grinning at the girl walking beside her. "Good. That's the attitude to have." Not just about the Negaverse, but life in general. Porsha didn't think she was going to have to worry about her newest recruit defecting anytime soon. She seemed utterly comfortable in her role. In her own skin.

Lips pursed at the praise Jade was giving to this new manager, features thoughtful. It all sounded great, really, but Porsha being who she was, she was wary of anything that seemed to good to be true. But that wasn't a query she shared with Jade. Let her be excited, and if everything was truly legit, then all the better.

She might have to do a little digging. Find out who this guy was.

Later though, right now there much better things to focus on. Porsha led Jade down the block, across the street, and down a few more streets before drawing her through the door to a lovely little deli style cafe that had clearly not been open very long.

Porsha chuckled, turning her head to to steal a little peck against Jade's cheek before she could straighten again. "I can try, but I haven't been here before, so if it isn't good, not my fault." But it wasn't as though the fighter was expecting any menu regrets today. The Deli was new, yes, but it had a lot of high reviews and recommendations. Everything would be fine.

There was a little sign on the front entry that directed them to seat themselves, so Po led the blonde to the right along the wall before releasing her hand and taking a seat at a one of the booths situated in front of a big front window. From there they watch the steadily growing crowd of shoppers making their way past numerous band name store fronts.

Menus were in the condiment rack, so Po grabbed one and opened it before looking up at Jade, lips twisting playfully up on one side. "Alright, if I'm going to recommend something, I need to know if there's anything you don't like, so I can avoid it."
