Feet dangled over the edge of the building as gloved fingers continued to scroll through Sephora's mobile website.

The afternoon sun rained down atop the corrupted senshi as she browsed, mindful to keep the screen out of the direct sunlight, less it block her from seeing the latest lipstick sales. Normally she preferred to do her senshi gallivanting at nighttime, but tonight she had a particularly fun evening planned and was not about to have it interrupted with pesky Negaverse chores.

Down below, dozens of shoppers carried on with their lives, blissfully unaware of the senshi that peered over them from a distance. No one ever bothered looking up, so Dia wasn't terribly worried about being spotted. It was hard to shop as a senshi (if the stares weren't bad enough, try squeezing into a top while having ten pounds of hair), so she preferred the more electronic route. Eventually she'd get around to energy harvesting...but first things came first.

A girl had to have her priorities, after all.

The voice did startle her, but only for a brief moment. Her hair bobbed as her head turned, her focus so intent on her phone shopping that she hadn't even noticed the power signature until it was practically on top of her.

"Hello?"

The word squeaked out automatically in response, the pinkette clearly caught by surprise at the senshi's surprise entrance. A man, with that much hair?

Nice.

Turning back around, she clicked on a few buttons to ensure her makeup sale was complete, her feet returning to their dangling. "You out patrolling this early too? Ha, thought it was just a me-thing."

"Oooh, an accent. I like."

She patted the concrete ledge next to her, signaling for him to come sit beside her. Or at least, she hoped it was the universal sign of come sit by me. His words were thick with - German? Russian? - some sort of seemingly European twist, which certainly made up for an otherwise boring afternoon but who knew what could get lost in translation.

Heck, if she played her cards right, she might even have it easier time fetching energy today!

Her attention towards her phone was finally distracted, Dia tucking away her iPhone into her coat's pocket. It intrigued her, hearing the senshi use phrases like get back and been a while. He didn't seem terribly much older than herself, but maybe magic was deceptive when it came to age. Or his extra long hair made him look younger. Whichever.

"Where ya from, stranger?" One hand brushed back some of her pink curls, allowing him more space to sit down, "Sounds like you've been at this game for a while."

She pursed her lips and paused before she responded, giving some thought to his inquiry. Dia hadn't felt particularly saved when she was introduced to her new alter ego, but that didn't mean this gentleman in question hadn't felt a sense of redemption when converted to the right side of things. Clearly he'd been befuddled, confused by the White Moon's lies before finding proper guidance.

"So...no talking cats with all the info, I take it?"

One hand dug into her pockets, her cell phone appearing first and then promptly set aside. Her henshin pen appeared second, which she proudly showed to the redhead. "Magical kitty cats with all the right powers, my friend. They know practically everything and can help boost us up, to boot!"

If a lightbulb had hovered above her head, it would have suddenly lit itself.

"I forgot!" Her pen was tucked away once more, her hands returning to the cell phone as fingers slid the screen open. "I told myself I'd get Lace and Grendel something for all their help - ugh - I know what to buy for pretty much anyone but cats. What on earth do they even wear besides collars?"

She stared at the phone blankly, unsure of what to even begin typing in. Her head turned and her stare transferred to the other senshi. "Do...cats wear sweaters?"

Turning back to the phone, her face grew rather grumpy. "No. Sweaters are stupid. What the fudge would a cat want?"

She laughed, her right foot kicking especially high into the air. "I love cake. I bet both of them would go for that, maybe a bed too - that's a great idea, uh..."

Her eyebrows furrowed as it dawned on the younger girl that she failed to know the other senshi's name. "Sorry, I guess I got ahead of myself."

Turning once more, gave a sheepish grin. "I'm Dia. Didn't mean to rush into the convo, I just get excited when it comes to shopping."

Eyes moved to scan the crowd as they continued their bustling below. "Do you like to shop? I bet we could find some cute things for you, down there."

Goodness knew that with the amount of hair her new friend here had, he could certainly take advantage of some nifty hair accessories. Apparently not everyone was blessed with pearl strands when they transformed.

Her eyes widened as she stared at the young man.

Borrowed things?

Only what he was wearing prior?

Needs decorating?

It was at that precise instant that Priscilla Stratford, also known as Sailor Dia, decided she would extend her benevolent generosity upon this poor, poor, unfortunate soul. His rather feminine name didn't even phase her. Victoria, or whoever he went by when he wasn't gallivanting around in his fuku, was soon going to have one of the most decorated apartments in Destiny City - with the aid of his new, fashionable friend, of course.

"Clearly we've got some work to do, Vicky."

Her hand did a quick wave, gesturing for him to follow before the senshi scooted forward, sailing down towards the sidewalk below. Thankfully for both her sake and the sakes of those around her, the space was clear for landing - but there wasn't any time to pay attention to those giving her stares. No.

She was now on a mission.

A fashion mission.


First stop: the furniture district. Her quota would have to be delayed until tomorrow - this was definitely by far a much more dire emergency!

Clapping her hands together, she let out a peal of laughter before grabbing for his nearby arm. "Can we? Sugar, you've got a lot of catching up to do!"

While eyes followed the couple curiously, Dia clearly paid no attention to the gawkers and starers, choosing instead to gaze longingly into the shop windows as they passed by. "We can do whatever we want. What are these...these peons going to do to stop us?"

One hand moved out, motioning towards the civilians that surrounded them on all sides, most too busy with their own personal affairs to pay the pink haired girl any mind. Dia simply continued to smile as she turned towards Victoria, her free hand playfully moving up to bat at the long red puff of hair sticking out from the back of his head. "Clothes, however, may be a bit more difficult to pull off with locks like that, sweetheart."

Heels continued clicking as they walked down the street, ideas brewing with every step they took. Finally, after a brief moment of silence, Dia had a plan.

"What do you say we snatch a couple starseeds first, then we can regroup for a little shopping therapy? I imagine your apartment will need a lady's touch, as well as your...." her eyes drifted down to his attire which, frankly, wasn't all that bad, "...outfits. I take it that you only have a single set of clothes to your name, from the sound of things?"

Christmas had come early for Sailor Dia in the form of this innocent redhead. From the sounds of things he needed a new wardrobe, a new look and some new guidance. How fortuitous was it for him to practically stumble across her like this?

It was destiny.

"Well, your best bet would be to do it on the sly..." With that, she grabbed hold of her newest friend and ducked them both into the nearby alleyway, only a few curious eyes following after them. Releasing her charge, she leaned up against the wall, one leg poised up while the other kept her standing. Hands were busy, as they always tended to be, playing with the fringe of her skirt or the pearls on her hair. "While I don't mind poking around in public, your best bet for star seed gathering is finding someone off on their own. Y'know, like how wolves pick out the sickly sheep, or the ones that stray from the herd?"

While she wasn't a fan of being compared to a wolf, it was the simplest analogy she could think of on a whim. "We could always beckon a couple people anywhere - like here, even - and take what we want from them before we disappear. Energy. Star seeds...." She paused. "...wallets, too, if that's your sort of thing."

Arms moved up to cross her chest as she gave the senshi a grin. "Do you have a preference?"
