 Bibiana sat at the base of a shade tree with a book in her lap and a bag of candies to her right. She popped a small pink piece into her mouth as she read, completely oblivious to her surroundings. She had finished all of her classes and was sure she had passed them all, she just needed to finish a couple projects. Which was not what she was doing at the moment. The pink geist turned the page in her book and knew she needed to work on her projects, but she was stuck and couldn't figure out how to get past the barrier in her head.
So she had decided to take a break. A candy and book break. She had picked this tree and plopped herself down, one of her favorite books in hand and a bag of her favorite candies that were even in her favorite color. The chewy candies in the bag were all strawberry flavored, though the shade of pink varied from candy to candy. It was rather a large bag, and would last her a very long time as she had no one to share with, which was something she didn't understand. She was friendly, so why didn't she have more friends?
She shrugged this train of thought off and went back to reading.

 Ghester had decided to wander about the school campus. Class had failed to hold his attention and so he slipped out of science during an experiment gone wrong. it was weird being the new guy here when he had been around his pack all his life until now. His pals weren't here, his family wasn't here, and for once... the guy was on his own. It was way too weird. But he shrugged the thought away, kicking at little rocks on the ground as he went.
If there was one thing about being in this new place that he liked, it was the new tastes and smells he was getting to discover. A delightfully delicious scent crept up on him and managed to stop the Grimm in his tracks. "What smells so sweet?..." he wondered to himself, sniffing about as he tried to figure out where it was coming from.
Those dark eyes of his fell on someone quite pink sitting at the base of a tree. The funny thing about the scent is it made him think pink. With a smirk on his face, Ghester straightened up his jacket and strolled on over. Propping his arm against the tree, he leaned down some and peered over the pink one's shoulder to see what they were reading. "Whatcha got there, Pinkie?"

Being the completely oblivious Geist she was, Bibiana was so absorbed in her book that she didn't notice the older Grimm leaning over her until he spoke. She jumped at the sudden noise, finally noticing the shadow that had fallen over her and the book in her lap. She tilted her head up (and up), violet eyes a wide and smiling even as her lips curved into her signature grin. "Hi! I've got a book and strawberry candies," she answered and looked down again to grab a handful of the sweets, holding them up for the Grimm's perusal. "Would you like some?" she asked. He was kind of cute, in that scruffy, messy way. And he wasn't very colorful, but it fit him.

The way that sweet pink thing just looked to and smiled at him just about made the guy's heart stop and nearly took his breath away. WOW! Those sweet, purple eyes managed to do so much in just a single look! The grimm opened his mouth to say something back, and for once in his life, nothing came out. What was this girl doing to him?! And without even knowing her name at that. Gathering what little he could of his mentality, he reached down and plucked a few candies from her upheld hand. "Thanks Pinkie. You may just about saved my sweet tooth from death!" ... what the hell did he just say? Deciding it might be best not to open his mouth again for a minute or ten, he popped a candy in his mouth and slid down the side of the tree, sitting down next to her. Against his better judgement, his mouth opened again and words fell out once more. "So do you have a name, or do I just stick with 'Pinkie'?" Oh for gods' sake... He really just needed to shut up now.

She giggled at his words, which were kind of jumbled, but she understood what he meant. "Well, we couldn't have that now, could we? The sweet tooth is my favorite!" she said with another giggle, her cheeks becoming pinker as she blushed. He was super cute, and now he was sliding down the tree to sit next to her! And he was funny, even if he maybe didn't mean to be.
Bibiana knew she was starting to sound like a giggle box, but he was funny! "Pinkie's good, actually! But if you really wanna know, my name is Bibiana. Or Bibi," she said with a smile. "What's your name?"

Usually Ghester was as smooth as a baby's bottom with the ladies, but this cutie had him trippin' over his tongue like a goober. Ugh. How embarrassing! All the same, he couldn't help notice her giggling and blushing after he settled down on the ground next to her. Gah dang she was freaking cute!
The more she giggled, the more he began to feel his confidence coming back to him. Thank. Freakin'. Goodness for that. That grin of his took it's rightful place on his face again as she spoke. Really, he thought Pinkie was a good fit for her, but the moment she actually said her name, how could he call her anything but?! "Bibi? That is a freakin' cute name. You're gonna make it mega hard for me to decide what to call yah now. Pinkie fits, but Bibi is too cute now to say." He was still grinning like the goof she was making him, but he didn't care. "Ghester's the name. I don't have a nickname, though..." which was something he didn't realize until now!

She really liked the way he smiled; it lit up his whole face and made him even cuter, as if that were possible! "I always liked my name, too," she said with a smile. She laughed a little and tapped her lip, thinking. "Well, you could alternate," she suggested. "Pinkie one day, then Bibi." She nodded and smiled brightly at him as if that fixed everything. It totally made sense, right? Right! But he could pick whatever he wanted to call her. She was pretty sure she'd just be happy he was talking to her.
When he told her he had no nickname, she gasped. "No way! You totally need a nickname! Everybody does," she said with a sage nod. Even if it had nothing to do with their actual name, she fully believe everyone needed a nickname. However, it was usually best to start with their given name. She popped a candy in her mouth as she thought. "Hmm... What about Ghessie?" she asked, smiling. She thought it was super cute, but he might not agree and it would be his nickname, after all!

The way the pink geist's face just brightened as she smiled made Ghester feel as if he had butterflies in his stomach. And her laugh? It was one of those damn super cute ones! Not one of those irritating ones that got under your fur. He had to laugh at her suggestion. "Well, I guess we could just see what comes out when I say your name. How's that sound, Pinkie?" Ghester suggested with a smirk on his face.
"That's right. This mutt doesn't have a nickname!" ... and he instantly regretted even telling her that. What. The. Hell was she trying to call him?! It sounded like some sort of... something... that... he couldn't put words to. "Errr... Well we don't really have to worry about me having a nickname. It's not that big a deal for me not to have one." Okay. That wasn't harsh. Maybe he gotten away with politely passing on it? Oh gods...

Bibi giggled and smiled brightly at him, nodding. "Sounds like a plan to me!" If she'd thought his smile was good, that smirk of his was absolutely devastating. She was no good at the flirting thing; she knew most of it just went right over her head. The little pink Geist was completely oblivious and thought people were just being nice to her. She was pretty sure Ghester was just being nice, too, but that didn't stop her heart from racing when that smirk was directed at her.
When he didn't seem to like the nickname she suggested, her face fell into quite possibly the most adorable pout that had ever been pouted. She supposed he was right; he didn't have to have a nickname. But they were so much fun! She even had two of them. Well... Maybe her having two nicknames could balance out Ghester not having any. With her inner dialogue, Bibi was satisfied and the pout turned into a smile once again. "Okay, I suppose you don't have to have one," she said. "I wouldn't wanna saddle you with something you didn't like, anyway!" she giggled.

Man. Whatever this girl had, she had it in spades. Whether it was her complete adorably spacey nature, or her natural... whatever it was that just made the guy want to scoop her up and never let go, she freakin' had it! And if those stomach butterflies didn't calm the frick down soon, he might just yack! Oh boy... he was in so much trouble in so may ways!
And gods... if that pout didn't just about kill him right then and there! Holy crap! Like... it was the freakin' most adorable thing he'd ever seen. It took everything within the grimm not to freak out and make a fool of himself for making the poor cutie pout! Thank the gods that she seemed to recover quickly and was back to that adorable smiling self of hers. Of course it made him miss the pout a bit at the same time. He could have just nibbled on that li-- Ghester quickly shook his head and laughed "You're too cute, Pinkie. And it wasn't so much of getting saddled with something I didn't like... It's just kinda hard to make something for this name i got. Haha" ... 'wow dude... just wow. could you have sounded more like a moron?'
"Errr.. Hey Bibi. If you're done with whatever it was you were doing, you think you might wanna grab a bite to eat? I dunno about you, but I'm pretty much hungry all the time." It seemed like such a random question to ask right then, but his stomach now had him convinced that he needed to eat instead of puke. Which was a bit of a relief. He sure was making himself sound like a dope! Trying to shake off the tongue tripping, he held out her hand to her and smirked again. "My treat!" and winked. THERE! He had some of his smooth mojo back! Oh how he missed it!

Bibi grinned up at him as she dug in her bag for another piece of candy. "Okay, well that's fair enough," she said around a mouthful of strawberry sweet. She was starting to get used to being around him, though she could still feel her heart race a little when she looked at him.
She giggled a little when he told her he was hungry all the time. "Ooh, then I'm definitely going to be your best friend," she told him. "I want to be a chef when I graduate university!" She beamed up at him, proud of her plan. "But to answer your question," she said and swallowed the last of her candy, "I would love to get something to eat!" Especially with the adorable Grimm, she thought to herself with a blush.
That wink of his only made her blush harder and she giggled again, covering her cheeks with her hands. "Where did you have in mind?"

As Ghester stood there, grinning, that grin almost faded when the cute little geist said she was going to be his 'best friend'. Was he getting friend-zoned right out of the gate?! CRUD! He just had to remind himself to hold his cool and roll on. Though the thought of FZ doom was there, this was the first time they were meeting! He wasn't going to count himself out just yet! "Awwwman! You cook?! Be still my heart!" he said excitedly as he extended a large paw her way to help her up as she accepted. "We can go wherever you want to, Pinkie! The sky is the limit today. I just got my check and I can't think of a damn thing I'd want to spend it on more, than taking you out." and with that, he finished helping her up, linking her arm around his own.
Ghester beamed at her happily as his heart just about beat out of his chest. He didn't know what she felt, but he was pretty sure this was love at first sight for him!

She laughed happily and nodded as she slid her hand in his paw to stand with his help. "Ooh, such a gentleman," she giggled. Distracted by the way her heart double timed it as he helped her up, she tripped over a root and fell forward. Right against his chest. "Sorry!" she gushed, her cheeks turning a much darker pink as she blushed and violet eyes wide as she looked up at him.
Wow she was so totally clumsy but maybe she could distract him from that. Umm what were they talking about before? Food! Right, food. "I um, what about that cute little bistro place?"

"Well I try to be, m'lady!" he said, giving a big grin. Though, as she tripped and fell into him, his cheeks heated and his arms wrapped around her quickly to make sure she didn't fall! "Errr... Heh... Don't worry about it, Pinkie! I gotcha." Ghester looked down at her with a sweet and caring look. This puppy was smitten! Completely.
He couldn't help but get lost in the moment as she was in his arms. But then she popped up with a suggestion and his mind was on food once again! It didn't take much at times. "That sounds great! I don't think I've been there before, so something new for me!" Of course this presented the dilemma of separating himself from the cute geist in his hold, but as his stomach growled, Ghester made the move of moving to take her hand instead so they could walk together. "No tripping this time, kay?" he teased lightly as they started off.
