Andy winced slightly as she groaned lightly, reflexively she moved to try to hold her head but an audible CLANK as her hand stopped moving. She forced her eyes open slowly, looking down at her handcuffed hand latched to the railing as she set it back down. Exhaling deeply, she looked out from the bed, laying on her side as she tried to remember where she was. Nothing surfaced. Why was she here? Why was she handcuffed? She had so many questions as she tried to remember anything.

My name is Kylar Gatt and I love you, Andy.

She strained to sit up, her head pounding as she tried to look around. "..k-kylar?.." she called out weakly. Her eyes were burning, had she been crying? Panic was starting to set in as she literally couldn't remember anything. More questions flooding her mind as her breath quicken. "K-kylar!!" she called out louder, fear in her voice. The only name she knew besides her own, she just needed something. Anything that would give her some kind of foundation in this strange world she'd seem to have woken up in.

"Mara, Andy is awake"

Mara turned away to glance back at the door silently, staring at the women in a nurse uniform oddly as if she recognized her but was out place here. "Thank you. The guards? "


"They are still outside the door and no problems, The Shadow meta warned us she just woke up" (npc)

Ah right, martial art training in the morning. That is where she usually saw her before they headed off to their posts.

"Kage?...what is he doing there with Andy?" blue cat eyes opened as Ree turned his head with a wince to look at the nurse then Mara questioningly.

"Watching. We had him test his skills out on Andy. This would be the result" Mara said as she moved toward the door. "Want to come?"

"...." There was a flicker of concern before he nodded." Where?" he was already getting up tiredly, paler than he usually as as he followed after Mara much slower, wings dragging on the ground.

"A few doors down" She said simply, never noticing Ree's calculating look aimed toward her, before he sighed. She outpaced him and walked to the door, knocking twice and opening it only to freeze at the threshold as she took in the scene inside. "Why is she free?!" she glared at Kage accusingly as two guards outside jump to attention at her words, turning to the room itself as Mara walk inside.

Kage had a stupid smirk on his face as Mara entered, one hand still holding Andys'. He looked away from the doorway as Andy tried to ask him a question. He raised her hand placing his other hand over it. Her hand cupped between both of his he looked her in the eyes and spoke gently, "It's okay, Andy. They are just worried about you, we all were. It will all be alright though now." He leaned in and kissed her forehead before looking back at the doorway, "Won't it, Mara?" He flashed her a wink and a grin before returning his focus to Andy to make sure that she stayed calm. He had released her, so if she became spooked and hurt anyone it would be his fault. Unsure of if here mental defenses were in place yet or not he pulsed a small sense of power across their physical bond, something to help keep her calm assuming it wasn't prevented. Andy was just becoming more confused and concerned at every passing word that was spoken. Sure, she felt relieved that Kylar was there, despite not exactly know who he was, but she knew that he loved her and that his presence made her feel safer [No Resistance: Open your Heart]. However, all the ambiguous talk from the woman and now an archangel meta that had stepped in, was unsettling. Why did she need the collar? What did it do to her? And more importantly, what worked? She furrowed her brows in distress as she tried to piece together what was going on, but with only a handful of pieces to otherwise life-sized puzzle, she simple couldn't wrap her head around it. "What's.. going on? What happened to me? Why can't I...." her voice tapered off as her eyes averted to the bed she was laying in for a moment then slid back up to Kylar. "Kylar.. why can't I remember anything..." she asked simply with a frown, the best question she could come up with as any attempts to recall information of who these people were or why she was here returned blank. Her head was starting to hurt again as she placed a hand on the side of her forehead and sighed. "..Did I hit my head or something?" she muttered softly as she tried her best to understand.

He darn well better be shocked, they had been waiting for days for him to wake up and debriefed them on what to expect not get a call now and have to wing it.

She would have never allowed those restraints to be taken off, a few maybe but not all. Kage was risking the safety of everyone in the compound even before they could verify what happened! Lock and key ..lock and key... They needed to find something that didn't need to be locked or open or at least gave him greater resistant or warned them when he was trying to open something he shouldn't.

Focusing on Andy again she narrowed her eyes, what pray tell was she supposed to do? Assume everything was perfectly okay? Not mention anything? If the locking was so weak then it was something they should know now instead of later. This was the reasons it was a test! She looked pointedly at the collar and restraints, not saying anything just waiting.

She didn't have the luxury to deal or be blinded by the confused and scared look on her face, and truthfully after seeing so many videos of her attacks over and over looking for clues for hints of powers ...she really didn't want to. Yet she could be neutral but gain her trust? That...hah that would be hard.

Ree looked quietly at the people inside and just made his way slowly to a chair "That would have been me " turning it around before sitting down, arms resting on top of the backing as he allowed his wings to just droop down on either side of him. There was no glare from him at either of them just a tired look. That was not Andy...she had the same apperence of the furious Fallen that had rushed him sparking with electricity in an attempt to protect the child he had in his arms ,but now there was only fear and confusion on both her face and posture. What this what Kage's power could do? The unraveling he had only a taste of? He repressed a shiver as he cast his gaze quickly over Kage where he knelt on the ground, feeling more than just a hint of pity for Andy no matter what she had done. Now Kage actions on the other hand ...

"Hi Kage" he nodded his head slightly with a wince."Nice to see you adapted so well " A hint of sarcasm that was soften with the smile that followed it. If Mara's posture and finger drumming as any indication, she was furious and ready to act. He blinked as she gave him a glare as well before she went back to glaring at Andy. Yep, something went wrong somewhere.

"Andy... Kage saved you" he motioned to the meta that was kneeling by her offering her the collar. "But he is right...it will take us a bit to trust. Things happened.." He looked faintly concerned as he looked away to Mara then back at her as if with determination. "We will tell you soon, but for now it would make many of the people here and outside" he motioned to the door and the guards just at the edges." -feel- safer even if you don't need it. It is just an, encase measure. " he smiled faintly at her even as he felt the twinge of pain that flash long his nerves due to her attack. There were more important things ..like trying to gain her trust now no matter what mess up happen prior to her wake up. First impressions always important.

Kage stood up and looked over to Mara for a moment. She was still making this difficult, but for now everything would be alright. He returned his focus to Andy as she latched the collar, "Don't worry, you won't hurt anyone. You're better now, they just don't have the trust that I do." He took her hand in his again and looked back at the doorway. He eyed Ree closely, the boy claimed that he was the one she hurt. It was convenient or he was quick on the pickup, at least someone was helping him fabricate the truth.

"Hey, Ree. How are you holding up?" Showing interest in the other Meta he removed the smile from his face attempting to show concern. He placed his free hand on the chair he had been resting in when Andy first woke and patted it. "Why don't you come join us over here, keeping your distance isn't going to help Andy."

Andy looked to Mara hesitantly then back to Kylar and nodded, slowly releasing his hand to let him go with her. Her face still showed her worry, but she was calming down as the tension in the room seemed to ease only slightly. Ree had offered up that she could come to him and she thought on it. She wanted to apologize more, but she felt too guilty about being the reason he was in the state he was. Andy finally decided that she'd get closer. They were friends after all. Maybe he could tell her more about the things she couldn't remember. She moved the blanket off her lap and slowly swung her feet off the side of the bed, carefully sliding to stand on the floor. She felt a little weak, but she'd be okay to stand and walk. She made her way over to sit in the chair next to him and stared in the opposite direction awkwardly. After a moment, she smiled behind a nervous laugh as she turned her view to him. "I don't know what happened... but I'm really sorry that I ended up hurting you..." she apologized, not even sure what exactly she was apologizing for. She tried to think of something to say as she looked him over, still no memories surfacing of this person. "..Ree, was it?....." she paused, trying to come up with anything to say to break the silence. "...how long .. have we been friends?.." she asked, hoping to somehow force anything to surface, any memory at all.

"Do you know how many people you threatened by fully taking off her restraints?" there was a pause as she looks at him intently." She was one of the most high ranking of the EE members and not even her full abilities have been documented " she talked in a low tone angrily as the guards acted as if they didn't hear. "So don't you dare tell me it was to gain her trust either . This was a test for a reason, there could have a number of things go wrong even if it worked originally. " she took a breath, beating the thing over him wouldn't help she just had to hope he realized what he did and eventually once Tri was better he could organize them better.

"Now tell me, what did you do and what can we expect if you know? I already have multitude of cities clamoring for her head once news was sent of her capture. Ree is right, you are saving her life but we need to know if it is permanent or is she might revert " she said while reaching down to answer her phone a moment later she grimaced."On my way" and hanged up. Visitors...oh joy, but she stayed a moment longer waiting.


Ree glanced back as Mara and Kage left the room before he turned his attention back to Andy. The smile on his face faltering and fading as he shook his head. "It's fine. You're alive, I'm alive we were both getting better " he said quietly. "Hm? Oh that...I really can't say. Only a short time, we had only recently meet before the altercation a bit later on. I ..may have deserved it?" He chuckled softly.

"Sorry...no laughing" he coughed and smiled faintly.. "Mara will fill you in on what happened and maybe why you are like this. Sorry I can't tell you more but everything is really delicate right now. I know you can't trust me or anyone of us really..I don't blame you. But I feel like I should still say we are all friends here. Some closer than others "he shook his head side to side ignoring the spasm that cause but trying to get her to relax a little through humor. "But still friends. So...what do you want to eat? Hm?"
