Reading - Daniel always tends to read, his favorite genres being mysteries and science fiction. Regardless of the title, however, he's willing to read any and everything that he can get his hands on. Reading the cereal box as he eats his breakfast is not uncommon, as well as reading the packaging of any device or product he happens to buy. If it has words on it, he's tempted to read it!
Drink Mixology - Being the main barista at the cafe he works at, Daniel is given ample opportunity to play around with the drink machines and syrups to come up with his own versions of favorite concoctions as well as create brand new drinks. Experimenting is fun and he finds enjoyment out of seeing his customers happy with his products. He aims to please or the drink is on the house!
Virtues:
Caring -- Are you hurt? Are you sad? Daniel wants to know. Daniel's willing to listen. He'll make you a warm beverage and offer you a chair. Natural instinct has given him a paternal feeling towards others, especially individuals younger than himself.
Charming -- His mother taught him from a very young age that acting like a gentleman was key in all interactions, especially when it comes to young ladies. A gentleman will open doors, pull out chairs and carry things - not because she's helpless or unable, but because he wants to show her that she is valuable and worthy of respect. Over the years, he has held this lesson close to his heart and tries to remain a charming gentleman with every lady (or gentleman!) he meets.
Good-Natured -- A kind hearted man, Daniel is both patient and friendly to any and everyone he comes in contact with. He will never rush anyone and will always try to see the silver lining to situations. Grumpy and solemn are not words that anyone would use to describe the young barista.
Flaws:
Pushover -- While he's not necessarily meek, Daniel does have a difficult time saying "no" to people who ask things of him. Especially when it comes to women, he more often will agree and comply to anything he's asked to do. Pick up a shift for a coworker? Sure thing. Run this errand for a friend, even if it's fifteen minutes out of the way? No problem, buddy. Despite the fact it may be a hassle or burden for him, Danny will inevitably always help someone who begs for it.
Naive -- Raised by a single mother in a very sheltered life, Daniel has yet to really experience the world. He is unaware of how manipulative the world can be or how evil some people can truly be. If you're on the side of the road and begging for money, he'll spare you change - he doesn't question whether or not you're truly homeless, for he assumes you are who you say you are. Easily tricked and manipulated, Daniel is very naive as to the goings-on in Destiny City.
Open Book -- Daniel is unable to hide his feelings. He is an awful liar. This makes life very difficult for him when placed in situations that require delicate responses - especially when the truth will hurt the person asking the question. He doesn't want to hurt your feelings when he doesn't like your outfit or your cooking, but his inability to hide or cover up his true reaction makes it hard for him to mask the truth...as painful as it might be.
