For once Talisia found herself in the actual city. Normally the girl preferred staying away from crowds, but the necessity of supplies forced her back once more. Since more recent events with a friend, Talisia made certain to keep her cloak around her at all times while walking back. Even shadier allies seemed more comforting than the busy, open streets. It was while she was there that the girl found something darting before her.
Cursing, Talisia stumbled forward and dropped her satchel. As food spilled out of it she was surprised to see a dark blur speed past and grab something. “He-hey!” Reaching out, Talisia tossed a bundle of material forward. A yowl broke through the alley as the girl darted forward and wrapped her arms around the wiggling pile. It took a few moments of flailing in the alley before both Talisia and the bundle managed to still.
After her encounters in the desert the girl obviously recognized the shape of a perzi, “Got you!” Her hold tightening around her captured prize, the girl carefully pulled back the bundle of material to get a glimpse at the face. That face would be rather adorable if it wasn’t for the spatting and hissing.
“Oh come on, I’ve already captured you.” Sighing the girl sat down on the sandy ground and just tightened her legs over the bundle to allow her hands free range. “You stole food, so you’re hungry right?” Searching on the ground next to her Talisia held out a piece of meat and watched as the perzi hissed before reluctantly grabbing it.

As the perzi ate the food that Talisia placed out for it, the girl began to shift her legs ever so slightly. Perhaps while she fed the perzi the little one would get more used to her. Biting her bottom lip Talisia kept her attention on the perzi. Just a little bit at a time…that would do the trick.
She really was a cute creature with those markings blending into her coat. If she wasn’t so ragged, Talisia was certain that she would have a very beautiful appearance. As it was this was the first time she had seen such a desperate stray. Did that mean the perzi wasn’t used to being on its own like a wild one?
“But who would have just left you alone like this?”
Distracted by her own thoughts, Talisia almost jumped as the perzi broke free. Apparently it had finished eating quicker than she had expected and since her grip had loosened the perzi used the opportunity to break away. With just one last soft hiss the perzi bolted forward into the shadows of the alley and out of sight.
“Well so much for that.” Sighing, Talisia bent down and finished packing up the rest of her spilled belongings. Surely the little one would return home or be taken in soon. Right?
