Kaede is...Kaede. There's really not a whole hell of a lot you can do to describe him other than that. He is probably the one sibling everyone has a 'facepalm' moment with, multiple times a day. Not only is he mostly nervous and flighty, he is the only one who looks out for number one above ANYONE else - outside of his twin, who is his other half. Even then, he often will put himself above Kale's needs. Obviously, Kaede is one of the most selfish of the siblings and he has no qualms with it. Nearly everything he does has the question "Does it benefit me" behind it. Kaede will be amazingly courteous, kind, and thoughtful toward those who are less fortunate than him...You know, if it doesn't do anything to disturb his own personal comfort. He has no issues turning on his charm and relying on his physical attractiveness to get what he wants, when he wants it - and if he doesn't get it, be prepared for tantrums. This goes doubly so if he is not getting the attention he is demanding for something or another.

Kaede is not afraid to use any weapon within his arsenal to get to the ultimate goal he is working toward. This includes lying through his teeth, being evasive, throwing the blame very convincingly onto someone else, and turning on enough charm to smother Hitler into being a kitten. If none of this works, he will sulk - and he will sulk for days on end. Kaede is not fun when he's sulking and often times he will be locked away in a room with Kale who is the only one who can generally snap him out of it. Kale provides the calm, cool and collected intellect to his brother's flighty irrationality.

While his twin has control over his concentration, Kaede, as stated, is flighty as hell. There is not something that will hold his attention for long periods of time. He will throw himself enthusiastically into new activities only to abandon them for a new interest a few moments later. To him, life is a game and routine is the road block that needs to be beaten down. Immediately. He enjoys learning immensely though vehemently rejects the process of learning things. He is fidgity and probably the epitome of ADHD. As such, all his knowledge comes from people rather than books and isn't always very reliable.

Now, all of this doesn't make him seem like a very likable guy - but nobody can be all bad, and Kaede certainly is not. Despite his faults and his tendency to mock anything and everything (especially romance and the way it makes people act), he's a fun loving guy and just wants to have the best life possible. He is versatile and adaptable, witty, and lively. He may be superficial as hell, but he won't let people know it. He will not go out of his way to hurt anyone, and he has wonderful speaking skills. As they say - when things are good, they're amazingly good. But when they're bad, it's worse.

Notes: Kaede and Kale battle in tandem with each other. They are strongest together, and weakest the further away from each other they are. Alone, they don't have much strength, but together is a whole other story. Think of them as the 'battery' for Svatura. They couldn't have created the Celestials without that power.

In the beginning, Gen did not have a race to call her own. Afraid of the responsibility of it, she instead decided to stay back and offer her counsel to the rest of her siblings. After all, she was good at being neutral and practical while some of the others were...not. Out of all of the siblings, Gen would have to be the most modest. She is shy and not at all comfortable or confident in herself or her abilities.

However, after Eisra's banishment, she saw the practicality of taking over - after all, the humans needed a guiding hand and everyone else was already busy with their own children. Taking control over the Humans pushed her to try and find her own self confidence.

Gen is extremely intelligent and often spends her time buried in books. It is no surprise, then, that humans have taken on chronicling life and history as diligently as they do. Along with her intelligence comes a diligence and shrewdness that none can truly match. She notices everything and if it is out of place, a place must be found.

It is not often that Gen speaks up, preferring to observe than actively participate unless specifically called on. However, on issues of import, it is not unusual for Gen to be very forceful with her opinion and harsh against those who go against her. Get a bee in her bonnet and nobody is safe from her tongue.

That being said, Gen is warm and fair and loving. She recognizes the flaws in her race - and she loves them for them. Despite her perfectionism, this does not extend to the Humans she now guides. She is sensible and can remain objective as long as it does not involve her directly.

Priests/Priestesses

Priests or Priestesses of Gen typically wear a lot of greens and browns - earthy tones. Since Gen's stone is Sardonyx, upon finishing initiation, they are gifted a necklace of the stone that they do not take off, ever.

They are recorders and scribes. It is not unusual for them to shut themselves away to record the goings on and it is they who often pen the news to be sent to all corners of Svatura.

Gen is one of those who are so modest it probably makes her a BIT uncomfortable having people worshipping her. (Eisra was definitely more of the WORSHIP ME PEON type person). So Gen's priests/priestesses would have very humble things. Small, unelaborate churches. Not very detailed/embellished clothing. The only "Special" thing they have is their necklace. They would work very hard to make other people happy and make their lives better. Food, clothes, shelter, etc.

They are very benevolent and understanding and try to listen to people. Probably act as counselors fairly often.

Hubris is the biggest sin to them.
