[Text to Altais: Plans tonight? If no meet @ park 9pm for light patrol? I'll bring snacks.]

Every now and then Cordelia didn't mind drawing one of the lunch hour shifts at work. The Cat's Paw was generally slow during those hours; generally older gentlemen coming in to enjoy a bit of music and a drink while looking for someone to chat with. Tips weren't as great as they were on show nights, but she enjoyed having a chance to clock out early and spend a bit of time putting together a small satchel of snacks to bring out with her on patrol that night. Even if Altais wasn't up for joining her that night there was always a chance that someone would be there.

Such excite. Much enthusiasm. Corvus groaned as she glanced at her phone, rubbing a gloved hand over her face as she wondered what she was getting himself into. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad -- Maybe the caps button had gotten stuck on his phone. Did touchscreen phones have caps buttons?

[Text to Altais: Wonderful. See you near the swing set.]

She grabbed the bag that she had packed to bring along with her before taking to the rooftops, finding them the fastest way to travel across town. When she neared the edge of the city closest to the park she hopped down, following the trails through the woods, relieved that she felt no Chaos signatures lurking nearby. If they were lucky it would be a nice, quiet night and she could thank Altais for the help he had been the last night they had seen one another.

"Hello, Altais," the Senshi of Vengeance chuckled at his enthusiasm as she settle down onto one of the swings, flashing him a smile. "It is indeed a beautiful night; warmer than it has been lately, which is good for patrolling."

She preferred this type of sweater weather when she was in civilian attire, but even as a senshi it was much better than the bitter cold it had been a few weeks back. "I'm feeling much better now. Much. A little bruised in some places, but the scratches have all healed. What about you? Are you doing well?"

"Of course I have snacks," she laughed as he gave her a push on the swing, actually smiling as she rocked back and forth to keep the momentum going. Overall the Senshi of Vengeance seemed much more amiable than she had the last time they had crossed paths; more like the person that she tried to be as opposed to the bitter warrior that being a sailor scout of five years had hardened her into when it came to battle.

"It would be terrible of me to mention snacks and not bring them, wouldn't it?" Corvus made a gesture to the small satchel that she had brought along with her, nodding to confirm for Altais that he was more than welcome to poke through it. She had neatly tucked two packages of individually wrapped snack cakes, a baggie filled with apple slices, another baggie with homemade trail mix (Cheerios, raisins, sunflower seeds and off-brand M&Ms) along with two juice boxes that seemed to be maintaining their chill for the moment.

"We all took on a bit more than we could chew during that fight, but... I wanted to let you know that you did a good job, Altais. I-- I might have been harsh, but it wasn't because I didn't think you could help," her voice was soft as she slowed her swinging to a halt, pausing to look at him. "It's because I didn't want anything to happen to anyone. I don't want to see anyone hurt anymore... Not if I can avoid it. You did good."

"You kept Denebola safe, though-- Or tried to, at least. I know she didn't make it easy. Neither did I, for that matter." Gloved fingers wrapped around the swing chain as she leaned her cheek against her hand.

"Sometimes-- Sometimes doing the right thing means not doing what you're told. That's alright. We all want to keep each other safe and that's part of why we work together." She laughed softly once more, shaking her head slowly. "It's funny how sometimes 'crazy' and 'amazing' can mean the same thing. You're doing just fine, Altais and I... I just wanted to let you know that."

Do you think we make a good team?

Corvus didn't really need to think long about the answer to that-- The answer to any of the three questions that Altais rattled off. The answer to each and every question was 'Yes'. The eternal senshi nodded before glancing in his direction.

"We are always stronger together, be it you working with us or you working with any other senshi. We aren't meant to work alone, no matter how much we might think that in doing so we're sparing the ones that we care about." Her gaze lingered in him for a moment before she looked away, head tilting up towards the sky. "I don't know how much it is I actually know about the senshi worlds, but... Maybe we can learn together? I'll be honest, I-- I've been avoiding going to mine. I've heard we can see glimpses of the past there and I'm not entirely sure I'm ready for that."
