Sephra stood on the edge of Lunaris Forest in a clearing staring out towards Howlshire Meadow. Howlshire. How she longed to belong to the meadows pack. Rumors of the White Alpha and his descendant reaches far, so far it reached her secluded healers camp in the middle of nowhere. How she wished she could join a pack like his. Which is why she left home in search of Howlshire Meadow. Sephra gave herself a mental push and stepped over into the new territory. It was absolutely beautiful! Lush greenage everywhere she looked, a small stream running through the trees. It's everything she had imagined and more. Grinning, Sephra took off running to the North. She ran and she ran, she had no idea where she would end up. Before she knew it, she came across a small pond. Sephra stopped for a drink and laid underneath a nearby oak. Resting her head on her paws, she began to doze off.

(Boring intro is boring)

A voice? It's a male . . . Commanding . . . An Alpha!? Sephra perked her ears up and opened her eyes. Startling yellow eyes were glaring down at her. Slowly rising, she kept her ears back, head down, and tail tucked showing submission to the local Alpha. "I . . . My name is Sephra, I came here looking for a new home . . . "
Sephra slowly rose to her full height and stared the alpha straight in the eyes. They were mesmerizing. And the mark of the alpha stared at her from below his left eye. She couldn't help but stare in awe. The legendary White Alpha descendant was standing in front of her! Looking back into his eyes, she grinned. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Descendant of the White Alpha. I have heard much about your pack and your land and . . . I wished to call it my home." Sephra stood there at her full height, waiting for the other Alpha's reaction.

Sephra sighed and laid her ears flat. She had wished to avoid the subject. But if she wanted to join his pack, he needed to know. "I come from . . . A group of healers who are raised outside of pack territory in the middle of nowhere. They are all I have known. I did not wish to follow their customs of mating a strange male just to produce more healers."

Glancing away, Sephra stared out at the land stretching before her. What a beautiful place, she thought. Recollecting herself, she turned back to Alpha and looked him straight in the eye. "I wish to live my life as I please. I wish to find a pack, start a family, and settle Down with a mate someday. I could not do so if I had stayed. So when a wounded traveler ended up in our camp, I overheard him speak of the Howlsong pack. Of what a strong alpha they had and what a peaceful pack it was. I knew then that this is where I needed to be."

Sephra glanced at the wolves behind the alpha and stiffened.
Of course he wouldn't be out on his own, silly. Hearing him ask her a question, she turned back to alpha and stared for a moment before his words registered. "Oh. Ah. Yes! I would love to join your pack! . . . If you'll have me."
Sephra lowed her ears and thought for a moment. What did she have to offer beyond being a healer? She had always been told she would make a great leader one day, that she was in line to be the next Lead Healer of the group, but she didn't think it would impress a real alpha. Having an answer, Sephra stood up straight as she could, showing no fear nor submission to the other wolf. "Well, as you know, I am a Healer. I was told I was one of, if not the best healer in our group. I was in line to become the next Leader. But I did not wish to follow tradition. And the Elders would have demanded it . . . I honestly don't know what good I would bring to your pack, Alpha. But I can tell you I would anything needed of me. I can stay calm in high stress situations, much as most healers can. I enjoy the company of others and wish to help them as best I can. All I want is a family . . . A pack, a place to call home." She stared straight into the alpha's eyes, awaiting his response.
