Themba was depressed. Ever since he had gotten away from his family, he hadn't met anyone or any prides that attracted him. It was lonely out here in the rogue lands and he wondered how anyone stayed out here long-term.
He was tired of being by himself and having no purpose. He wanted to do something other than just stay alive and... well that was about it so far. He sighed while sunning himself on the rock he was currently laying on. He ignored his slightly growling stomach too. That was another thing out here, never a guarantee of any food and it seemed as soon as you had finished eating some prey, your stomach wanted more.

Suhailah was happily lounging in the grass under the bright sun.
She needed to find something to eat and find somewhere safe to go for the later parts of the day, but she didn't worry about any of that right now. The only thing she was currently focusing on was the way the clouds were slowly moving across the sky. She wondered if it would be this beautiful the next day as well! Suhailah loved when it was beautiful, it made all the things that caused her worry or concern to vanish in the air.
Rising to her feet she began walking in the direction that the clouds were moving in, letting the sky be her guide.

Themba groggily woke up from his nap and stretched a bit. It was time to go out and get some food or something. He didn't know. He was only a bit more hungry than before. He hopped off of the rock he was on and started to walk in a direction that he had seen some prey travel in before.
After a while, and without seeing anything else, he wondered if today would just be another passing day without note in his life. He looked about again and noticed something moving quite a bit away. He wandered toward it slowly, and noticed that it was a lioness who seemed to be looking at the sky. Well, at least he wasn't the only one out here today.

Suhailah was distracted by her cloud chasing to the point that she would have run straight into the lion that she was gradually approaching if she had not chosen that moment to look away from the sky.
She paused for a moment, attempting to hide the fact that she'd been startled by the other's appearance. You just never knew what kind of people you might run into our here. So, despite her flippant behavior, she did try to be careful for her own safety.
"Hello," she said casually, waving her tail behind her, "I almost didn't notice you. Have I wandered into your home?"

Themba smiled a bit. She didn't seem to be a dangerous lioness. He shook his head in response to her question. "No, I just wandered into the area. I haven't found a place to for myself just yet." He replied, shaking his head a bit. It was nice out here though and there didn't seem to be many others out.
"I wasn't expecting to see anyone else out here. I'm Themba, who might you be?" It was always interesting meeting others. And he was feeling much better already knowing he wasn't alone out here.

Suhailah hoped that she hadn't offended the other, she was having a pretty good day so far and it would suck if she had brought trouble upon herself. It wasn't exactly an unusual thing for her to do. Some days it seemed as though she was a magnet for drama. It wasn't as though she really tried to be, she simply managed to insert herself in all the wrong situations.
The lioness relaxed however upon hearing that the male was a wanderer as well. She hoped to find a home for herself one day, and maybe avoid the trouble that she seemed to get herself in.
"You never know who or what you might run into out here. Its nice to meet you Themba. My name is Suhailah," she said in a friendly manner as she sauntered up to him, "Are you all by yourself?"

He waved his tail in happiness. The day was starting to get better! "Yes, I'm by myself unfortunately. My family seems to have scattered and I can't find them." He quickly realized that he might make the lioness feel sad for him and he hadn't meant to do that. "But it's okay, I know I'm going to see them again one day and might as well explore all around here!" He said smiling a bit.
"Are you alone here too?"

Even though others were very unpredictable, the lioness still enjoyed meeting new people wherever she went. It was interesting for her to see all of the different types there were in the world.
"You can't find your family? That's terrible! I hope that you're able to be with them again. Being alone can be fun, but not forever," Suhailah said with compassion. For as long as she could remember, it had just been her.
"Yeah, its just me, always has been. We can hang out for a while, if you want some company.

Themba smiled a little. He was glad that someone else was concerned, even if it was a stranger. But it felt nice, he hadn't been able to talk to someone like this for a while and the roguelands could be such a lonely place.
He nodded at her suggestion. It would be nice to have some company for a while, even if he didn't know for how long. And he wanted to give her some company too. He couldn't imagine not having anyone else and being so alone out here. "Yes, that would be great. We can probably catch a meal together if we find some prey." He replied smiling wider now.Big Hobbit If you want to end it after your next post we can

Suhailah didn't think much about her past, she simply chose not to dwell on some parts of it. It was for the better, she preferred to be carefree than worry over what was.
"That sounds perfect, I could use something to eat," Suhailah agreed readily when Themba suggested they go hunting. It would be fun spending time hunting with someone new that she didn't feel threatened by.
"Let's do this," she said before moving forward with her new acquaintance on her next adventure. SSBrosB End! Thanks for rping with me, I'm up for more anytime
