While she was incredibly grateful for every Tuesday---well, give her an inch, and she wanted and would take a mile. Sedna had often been wondering if she could somehow wrangle in Thursdays as well, but alas. On this Tuesday, when they started patrolling, Sedna was proudly showing off her new stripes to the Polaris page. "I'm a super senshi now!" She exclaimed to Beringia, her hands planted on her hips as she stood tall. "I ranked up!" She grinned, and secretly couldn't help but feel extra proud of herself for being a level higher than the Winter Solider...not that she ever purposefully wanted to feel superior, but she did feel proud. Because she went out more and got more experience being magical, she was a rank above mister jaded hardcore Navy solider man. She was about to gab more about it, when she paused, peering over the edge of the building she had stopped on to look down below. "Uh oh---Chaos signature! Seems my level too---hey, let's go!" Sedna glanced back at him briefly before she vaulted over the side of the building, and jumped ground to the ground below.

She could try all she wanted with thursdays, but Sergei was FIRM in his motion not to go. Even with her huge injuries of last time, and his spontaneous patrol on not a tuesday night, he did not admit to the woman that he had gone out on their not so allotted time.
No instead, he stared at her and then over to the chaos signature to which she seeked. While he was happy? for her, he didn't think it could be that. Perhaps sad that it didn't come sooner, and without well...her injury.
"Fine." He followed after her because he had too..not cause he wanted too.
---------------
Pyrophanite let another body drop as he took the starseed out and held it up for his eyes to examine. The light was good, so Metallia would probably like it.
He felt the two power signatures and sighed, pulling the mask over his face and preparing for the do gooders to see his work.
All 20 of the homeless men and women of this decrepit warehouse, not dead but lifeless without their souls.
It was one of the first and best of his handiwork yet.

It was just one Chaos signature, so Sedna didn't worry about just rushing right into the warehouse, which she did. She skidded to a stop upon entering and seeing the Negaverse agent though, her eyes widening as she, briefly, thought it was the agent who had pretty much wrecked her last time. A closer look at this black uniform with red trim though, quickly assuaged her worries. It wasn't that same agent, but something about this uniform was familiar. She couldn't put her thumb on it yet, especially since she had never seen an agent wearing a mask before--- Sedna then gasped, as she caught sight of what the Captain had been up to. She was horrified. "What have you done!?" She wasn't going to waste any time though--- The senshi clapped her hands together and held them out in the direction of the Captain. "Sedna's Sinister Sinking!" Her magic took the form of a fleet of ships, and shot forth at him. Pixie Nyxie Super Sailor Scout Attack: Sedna’s Sinister Sinking Sedna claps her hands together and then holds them out, releasing an aura that takes the form of a fleet of ships, no taller than her, sailing out around herself that spans 10 feet. An ominous feeling of sinking and being short of breath envelopes those in range and lasts for 35 seconds. Can be used three times.

It was no different then seeing a Massacre in the war. His few times on land, when they had actually been deployed earned a sad amount of death and while Olga feigned surprised, Beringia was sad. There was no blood like in the wars, there was no families strung together. If not for their loss of color, the homeless looked nothing more then what they already were.
Old, tired, dirty and asleep. He didn't quite still understand the aspect of a starseed, but if it could be pulled in this way and leave the victims untouched, it was no wonder the police didn't do anything.
Almost the perfect crime in every way. Sedna had been the first to jump, and he wanted to chastise her. They were a team and should've communicated a plan.
In that sense, he now understood why the negaverse had the upper hand.
"Sedna, NO."
------------
Pyro laughed as he saw the ship senshi and her tagalong, giving the knight a brief once over. Not even worth his time really. The woman looked at his damage and he loved the expression on her face.
"I made sure the streets were clean tonight." He popped a starseed in his mouth, just a little boost to handle the senshi and her friend and laughed. Her attack hit true, and he did feel short of breath. There was a deep fear of himself being pulled down and down and down but the young man trudged himself forward.
Gas started to spill from his mask, as his half youma powers emitted. He lunged for Sedna so that she would get a full taste of what he could really do.

Wait--- Wait she knew that voice. "Pyrophanite!?" Sedna couldn't help but impulsively gasp, and immediately slapped a hand over her mouth. Oops. She hadn't run into him since she became powered, but he just seemed---so much different than the last time she'd see him...and she really hoped that Haüyne wasn't around, too then--- She let out a surprised shriek as the Captain ate the starseed. Oh no. Oh no, oh no. The loud and resounding NO behind her snapped her back to attention, and she briefly looked back at Beringia with wide eyes. "What!? We have to try and get those starseeds back!" She focused back on the Captain, grimacing at the smoke, but lunged to meet him, pulling back a fist to try and get a shot at his torso.

Pyro grinned under the mask, looking the senshi over again. Did he know her? He didn't think so. Maybe she was civilian he had run into. There was so many though...he didn't think it was that important. Plus after this, she wouldn't even matter anymore!
"Whoops, cat's out of the bag isn't it?" He pulled the mask up to show off the snake like eyes and the scales that littered across his face. "Boo. I don't remember you." The gas still escaped from his mouth and then it started to spew, growing heavier in the air. They would feel it soon, he thought and took the punch, it only brought more of the poison out.
He stood straighter now, and then slowly examined his nails as the fog remained stagnant in the air. They couldn't escape the deep breaths of poison around them.
---------------
Berginia just couldn't believe it. You'd think Sedna have learned after her last escapade with a nega not to rush right in, but here she was...STILL RUSHING IN.
The man...creature was spewing something and Beringia hadn't been quick enough to cover his mouth before he inhaled it. A gas attack, he should've seen this. Something about this whole battle felt off to him and he wasn't sure they'd be able to win against the half youma.
He grabbed Sedna to pull her back, but with how close in range she was to the man, she'd be the first to feel the poison.
At least that's what he thought when he suddenly felt the numbness crawling over his body, his legs faltering under their own weight and a dizziness being to spread.
"Sedna!" Beringia hit the ground hard, digging his hands into the dirt.
-----------
"Aww, looks like your little knight friend is out!" Pyro disappeared, as he teleported in the haze right behind the knight and placing a boot on the man's back, before shoving him down hard into the ground, digging the boot into his back.
"Gotta tell you, I thought you guys were smart! He wouldn't be able to beat me...Oh you know...I could youmafy him or something? Should I shove a little chaos into his starseed?" It was a bluff really but his hand dipped dangerously close to Beringia's uniform. "Or should I just take your seeds both and give them to metallia! I mean not that I really care cause..." He laughed, "Senshi starseeds aren't anymore special then others?"Lucyal Poison Fog Pyro breathes out a large cloud of poison, that remains stagent in the air. It causes mild dizziness and paralyzing of limbs up to at least 30 seconds. The haze is a thick black smog, and can be inhaled or absorbed through skin. Only Pyro can move through the haze without being effected.

" What happened to you!?" She could only stare at the Captain, horrified yet awed, but that soon gave way to terror. The senshi coughed as the poison filled the air. She didn't fall as fast as the Polaris Page, being a level above him, but she knew when she was in trouble when the dizziness had her vision reeling, and she fell to a kneel. Her limbs seemed to freeze, and her expression also seemed frozen in a look of fear and horror as Pyrophanite teleported over to Beringia. " No---!" She choked, trying to will her hand to move, trying to will anything to move. Anything, to stop him, anything, to save Beringia--- she couldn't even save herself. How long would this gas last for!? She couldn't help but feel this was incredibly unfair. How did the Negaverse have better ways of combat than them!? She had felt really good, going into this with two people---she was panicked now, and desperate, and it was desperation that willed her limbs to try and cooperate, even if they felt non-existent. She really only had two things at her disposal, and she just needed to at least get her hands touching--- "Sedna's Sinister Sinking!" She managed to touch her hands together for that at least, managed to flick her fingers out as her magic took form again and shot out at the Captain.

"I grew up." He laughed at her shock and wondered...did she fear him now? Did she see him as a monster?
Pyro couldn't be more pleased by the prospect. His boot crushed further into the knights back and he laughed again. "No what? No don't take his starseed? No don't hurt him?" He cupped his face with his hands, looking at her with mock horror, "No don't hurt him! He's innocent! He wouldn't hurt a fly! You're so evil!" He laughed again and kicked the polaris knight hard in the side, even as he felt the man try to push himself up.
Her attack hit again and he stumbled a little and still managed to laugh. "Your magic is so useless." He waved his hand, even as he felt that despair again. He was stronger then that, and even though he knew that he could disappear in the depths, he didn't stop his assualt on the knight.
----------
Beringia coughed as he took another kick in the side, and while Sedna's magic moved the man off him just enough for him to regain his composure, he felt the underlining fear. He was PREY and he didn't like it right now.
With no plan, and with no way to handle the lieutenant, he pushed himself up and took Senda's hand.
"Leaving." He coughed out, his legs feeling numb and hard to move, his ribs ached terribly. "Leaving, not tonight, we aren't going to win." A retreat.
Then they would form a better plan.

She could only stare helplessly at the Captain, and yeah, everything he was saying was what she was 'no'ing. Well. Maybe except the fly bit. He was right about her magic too. She had gained a stronger spell, but it was useless. She had nothing else in her arsenal, and the poison gas---well, who was to say he couldn't use it again? Keep them trapped and helpless. It was two against one, but he had taken care of them both with ease. Beringia's hand on her's pulled her out of her despairing thoughts, and she snapped her attention to him, eyes wide and glossy. In those few crucial moments they had, she had warred with herself. There were still twenty people without their starseeds around them...they couldn't save them. Pyrophanite needed to be stopped, but they couldn't do that either. Not now...and while she wanted to do everything she possibly could for the people, she didn't want to watch the Page be put through anymore pain because she'd---Hnngh. She owed him this. Sedna gripped his hand, and willed herself to a stand, but was also starting to move forward. Out the way they came. She shot one last glance at the Captain, before she focused on running, and the path out of here.

Pyro laughed again as the knight, slowly got up and didn't even bother to give chase to the two. Her attack kept him from moving around enough to allow them to escape but he was still the winner of the night.
He was the one with 19 starseeds and he laughed again, covering one part of his mask with his hand.
"New life of a monster, I guess I am." He stopped and stared after them. He had won, and that unsettling victory left him wary. It had been too easy almost. Was that the power of being half youma?
he jingled the bag again before teleporting over to the roof of the building, his eyes seeking them as they escaped. The buildings covered them in their escape and soon enough, he couldn't feel their aura's anymore. He rested a boot on the edge of the building. The night was his.
The night was his now.
---------
Beringia moved slowly but with purpose and while he hurt, he drew the woman close, using her for support and to escape. Once he felt the chaos trickle away, he pushed them gently into a park.
